people who say monfils took tennis more serious and didnt do stuff like this he would be a better a player arent necessarily right. monfils has said numerous times he plays tennis for fun he wont be out there if he isnt enjoying himself . i remember fed said thus after beating stan in shanghai that the media and fans at times cant grasp that some of these guys play simply for the love of the game granted losing isnt fun. but for some tennis wasnt a job is was a hobby they loved. that they got into tennis because of the joy they had striking a tennis ball. i say let gael be gael he earning a living doing something he loves and having fun how many of us can say that ?

TheSupineSmokey13 as a junior Monfils won 3 out of 4 Grand slams in the same calendar year. Probably considered the greatest Junior tennis player. An underachieving talent hurts but he likes to have fun on the court, that's all that matters
