I’m 33 and was raised in one of these with my pops driving I would get the best sleep at night in these man ! This type of truck is what made me want to be a driver … man I thank you for posting these videos for motivating me ! My pops told me to do something like join the marines and go to college because I can always drive trucks and guess what .. even after becoming a marine and finishing college I still wanted to drive and that’s what I’m working on now !
@@taethetrucker I can’t remember what trucking company used to have that color. But I do know that JB Hunt used to own tractors like that. Except theirs were a faded yellow.
I started driving in one of those back in 1993. Mine had a 350 horsepower Cummins with a 9 speed Eaton Fuller transmission. Drove one with a 9 speed Rockwell as well. I miss the old cabovers, good visibility, and maneuverability. It's not such a good ride, but you get used to it.
Yep we went a long ways in them cabinover trucks engine is any kind you want the ones i drove was mack cummiins detroit and a cat worked good narrow 2 lane my wife of 47 years was cozy in there good times kandi rip i love you😢 lot of rembers
Thanks for taking me down memory lane! I know Trucking I since then changed a little but I do take pride in these old school! Maybe one day I’ll have to privilege to drive one
Are those Cummins really that good? I have a 96 international single wheel axle with a Cummins m11 350hp with 800k miles. I want to hook up ez4 car trailer my gross weight would be 40k lbs
Bro, can you at least lift up the cab so we can see the engine? How we supposed to know exactly what kind of engine just by looking at the make of the truck??
