I get what your husband is saying when he says when he see you in labor an he views you in that manner is because he understands that it takes a strong individual to be able to handle that much pain and suffering and it's the person you truly love have to go through that. and for him to be on the outside looking in seeing that the body changes the Mind changes the character change he understands how it couldn't be him to be able to bring a child into this world and for you to be able to do it it's like as if he saying I can't do this because that's not how my body works but the fact that you can and you choose to allow us to have this family and allow your body to go through this for the love of me and For the Love of our unborn child it's a heroic move to him. Yes he loves you as being a mom doing motherly things but in that moment it's mind-blowing that your body can do that and you will allow your body to be able to do that even though he knows and you know thats just how women are made.
