We all lose confidence at some point, but it only makes it worse if you are so competitive and set your aims high, just go to Blue Chip expecting little and only setting one objective and that being to enjoy yourself, when it comes down to it , it’s just an arena with jumps in it, it’s only because it’s Blue Chip that piles the pressure on. You and the horses have the ability and have put the work in, just be yourself and you will be fine xxx

With my mare- she is very similar, always jumped no matter what, no matter how bad the stride, but then one day she started refusing and I guess its cause she got bored of it. Maybe try taking him out on a fun ride or something to get a spring back in his step for it (Obviously i have 0 idea your training scale or what you do with them) but maybe its an idea trying out. Hope it all works well xx
