Exodus Party to stop Marsh Farm "riot" Luton 7 July 1995.
After 3 nights of "rioting" on Marsh Farm Estate Luton the Exodus Collective organised a party as a peaceful protest against aggressive policing and the lack of amenities for the youth of Marsh Farm estate. It also stopped the escalating cycle of violence and public order policing tactics by offering the youth an alternative - dancing not rioting. The streets were quiet, the "riot police" sat around bored and the youth peacefully partied.
This video is just from one tape EX445 filmed on the night. The only cuts have been for reasons of copyright or privacy.

I remember the Guys used to Buy their Mineral water from the Cash & Carry i worked at, on Dallow Road, Luton and I used to get them a Discount because they bought bulk.
Never Missed a Rave from 1997 to 2000 including the festivals & private Parties.
No one cared about Race or Religion. It was all Love & Unity.

Its much like today, there is not enough fun for our youth, thays why there is unrest and theft and all that, also a large dose of greed as so many people are rich and people that follow these want what they got.
