- From lush rainforest-clad mountains to golden sand beaches, NSW mid-north is stunning. In today's video I hike the ancient rainforest of Dorrigo, explore the charming hippie village of Bellingen and wind up at the Pacific Ocean.

Hello from America, I am loving these videos about Australia.
Lived in that area most of my life and you brought back many happy memories.
We always look forward to your videos Terry and this one was a ripper. Beautiful country up that way. So green and scenic.
You're an amazing guy and video creator. Love your work mate.
Absolutely delightful presentation man! This looks heavenly beautiful, flawless edit!
Your videos remind of the style of Ask the Leyland brothers. Takes me back to good times.
A friend of mine used to live in Bellingen and she raved about it. I can see why, what a gorgeous part of our country ❤
Always enjoy following you on your adventures, it's been an amazing trip around Australia, and all from my armchair hahaha 😂😆😊👍😅😂
Your smile is infectious and beautiful.
Such a beautiful place
Brilliant presentation again Tez!
Terry I’m a hippy at heart too! Love the effort you put into the videos, music and drone work really captures the beautiful landscape, last minute bloopers make me laugh! Good on you for great effort Suzy
Another excellent video thanks Terry.
Beautiful.
Great vid btw. Love your photography and style. 👍
This was another excellent video - the footage in the wetlands using the drone was great. The cafe culture looks amazing in that region. Hanging with the hippies is a good place to be. All the best for your ongoing travels Terry.
Great video mate
Was telling a guy at work a few days ago that I visited a family friend in a commune in Northern NSW about fourty years ago, but couldn't remember where it was until you mentioned Bellingen and it's alternative vide. Will have to go and find him again.
Thanks Terry, great video, it brought back memories as I’ve been there twice
I’ve looked at a few travel programs but your ones are my favourite and remind me why I want to get back on the road again. I look forward to my next adventure. 😊
Good to see that you’re wearing your hat, maybe a brimmed hat would be more sensible, but at least it’s something. We love your videos, not too long and full of info thanks mate.
Love your travel videos, good info great scenery keep up the good work. Happy travels.
We are just down the road, hope you call into South West Rocks and Hat Head is a must. Love your work .cheers
I spent a few days R&R at Hat Head. No filming. Just relaxing 😎
Beautiful Place .Nice Video ❤
Great video Terry.
Fantastic clip 😮
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it 😀
We are just down the road, hope you call in to South West Rocks and Hat Head is a must.
Great, I think there was a little hippie in all of us from the 50's, 60's and maybe even early 70's too.I had read that the Gondwana rain forests in Australia formed 110M years ago. Not sure where you got 20m years..that was only a few years before I was born :)
This section is 20 million years old. It’s older further up north in Queensland.
Terry, congratulations on a fine video! I've watched all your films and consider this is the best so far. You've improved out of sight. Your simple and unaffected style and the compostion of your shots is now very good. The balance of comentary great and the music choices exellent. I've traveled to many of the places you've featured, all over Aus, even lived in a few, but now 75 and resticted by physical ability ( gamy leg & parkinsons !) you've provided me the opportunity to re-do it from my living room chair. My wife is Anglo Indian and wants me to accompany her on another trip to India; I may do, if we can book some of the places you showed in your blog. ( Not so much those citys) You should keep traveling and keep improving while your young enough. I'm back in beautiful NZ these days, so keep our country in mind for the future. 😉
Thanks so much 😀. I love India and will surely return. NZ is on my to do list as well.
💖
I have a question for you brother. With all your roaming across this big wide land, do you still believe it's a planet in outer space? Also, how would anyone know the forest is 20 million years old? I'm only asking because there's an awakening happening and it's important to begin to question everything we've been told. 🤓♥️🔥
I think you will find it difficult to find vegetarian food in Japan, it’s very fish and chicken based.
It’s nice until hundreds of tourists show up to the swimming holes and ruin what is considered to be one of the most sacred river systems in the country. The area cannot handle more people and these kinds of videos don’t help..
Things like this are why I hope that GDP per capita increases twenty fold but the human population falls eight fold
I agree with some of what you say and I empathise completely, I grew up on the Sunshine Coast and I now mourn looking at all the development and high density living, as it’s no longer that coastal town where we all knew each other and loved the community overall. Now the roads are like car parks, beaches lined with high rise, dogs locked into apartments whilst people work. I could say more, but I’m sure you get it. Australians aren’t used to masses of people as our population is relatively low, however it’s growing and I think we’ve lived our best years here to date, that’s my feelings as I’m now in my late 50s. I hope this region remains small and untouched by development!
