- Hello cardmaking friends! I have a gentle set of four cards for you today, with some gentle music to go with them. (Thanks Darcy!) Perhaps you have a stencil like this in your stash - one that has different elements on it rather than one design. This may give you some ideas of how to use it! If the soft peachy colours aren’t for you, use your brightest inks! (Then tag me so I can see the cards!) May your day be super, my friends!

Hi Donna. That's a beautiful set. I especially like how you outlined with the gold. I've never thought of doing that because my gel pens aren't very good and skip sometimes.
Hi Zoe! That was in fact my second gel pen that I tried for the process. Pen number one didn’t cooperate at all!
On the last card.. Would it have worked to draw your gold outline lines through the stencil? Or would it have blotched?
Great question. I just did a little experiment to answer your question. I drew first, let it dry for about 5 minutes, then ink blended. It smudged! Perhaps if it were left overnight or something it might not, but I’d have lost interest by then!
