50 years ago, the day after Thanksgiving, OU vs. Nebraska. The traditional Big 8 rival, OU 27, NE 0. This was Barry Switzer’s first year as head coach. Until that season, I’d only seen OU play on TV. But in the 1973 season, I was a freshman in The Pride of Oklahoma. What a great experience!
