@@cobuspotgieterohmygawsh you replied you know I exist. This is crazy. I watch all of your videos till the end. Ok I’m done being an obsessed fan now 😁.
As someone who has purchased the PocketDrum 2 Plus, I would like to share my authentic experience. Overall, my experience with the product has been a mix of positive and negative aspects. The PocketDrum 2 Plus provides convenience for amateur drummers like me, serving as a handy practice tool that allows me to enjoy drumming anytime, anywhere. I particularly appreciate its portability. The noiseless drumming feature is also a standout, allowing me to practice without disturbing others. Additionally, the MIDI functionality opens up creative possibilities for music production, which is a great added feature. However, it's crucial to set realistic expectations for the PocketDrum 2 Plus. As an amateur drummer, I quickly realized that it cannot fully replace a real drum kit, playing complex parts may prove challenging. While it excels in practicing basic rhythms and drumming, it may fall short when attempting intricate drum rolls or advanced techniques. Despite these limitations, the PocketDrum 2 Plus remains an engaging tool for drum enthusiasts, providing them with a taste of drumming without committing to a full drum kit. It is reasonably priced and strikes a balance between being considered a toy and an actual instrument. I believe it would also make a fantastic gift for nieces or nephews who enjoy making sounds and hitting things, but may not be ready to commit to a complete drum set. It offers an affordable option that is genuinely legitimate. In summary, the PocketDrum 2 Plus offers convenience and versatility for amateur drummers like myself. It serves as a handy practice tool that allows me to enjoy drumming anytime, anywhere. However, it's important to understand its limitations and manage expectations accordingly. If you're in search of a portable drumming solution for casual practice sessions and creative experimentation, the PocketDrum 2 Plus could be a suitable choice.
You got me convinced Cobus, i trust you, I ordered the PocketDrums 2 Plus at a discount plus your coupon discount. Arrives in a week, can't wait !!! Although i'm a bit older then you, I've been dreaming of playing the drums for 20 years now but never had the space or time to actually commit to it. Now i will be able to jam in my living room in the evening while no neighbor will hear anything and the kid will be sleeping tightly :). Now, do you do 1 on 1 lessons also? :D
@@philkasafir. 100% correct. This "markesplace" is prob a bot. I've even seen one shill put a positive comment on another shill's pimp video. Shame on these people.
Ive seen the "contract" the youtubers sign when promoting it. Your jaw would drop at their terms and conditions. There is basically no honesty allowed and i know why, i owned this product and have nothing good to say@babyjessicascheekbones5463
As a non-drummer thats considering drumming these also seem pretty ideal from a "partner friendly" point of view while you find out if its for you or not so you dont have a drum set taking up space, I dont think they were ever designed to "replace" an acoustic or electronic drum set, I think its more a compliment to it, I could see someone bored at the airport playing it while their waiting on their delayed flight as its so small it can be put away in hand luggage or just a drawer at home and be pulled out when you want to play and be jamming in 20 secs.
Thanks for showing about the Aeroband Pocketdrum sticks no more loading and un-loading my drum kit to my Van because that's a Big pain in the Butt. 30 minutes to dismantle and then another 30 minutes to setup.
Wish I had this back in the day to practice at home and not disturb everyone in the house by making an "sofa drum kit" And basically being a mess. Also one question, do you feel the rebound on these sticks or is it just like air drumming except that it now has drum sounds to it.
Really one of the best videos on this product I have seen. I have a passive mixer with powered speakers that is Bluetooth functional. Will I be able to connect directly to my mixer with this product? I am DAW ignorant...
I agree. These are targeted at like the early teen who can't afford their own set, don't have the space for a set, or their parents won't buy them one as THEY ARE LOUD AS F(I'm that parent in all 3 LMAO). I think these are cool though. What a time to be alive. Cheers Cobus.
To everyone who sees this comment, keep pushing in life and never give up. Can't wait to see you successful one day and May God bless you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What’s the delay in audio with these? I typically notice about 8ms is about my max for visual fidelity. I can only assume it’s noticeable and that makes it so much more difficult to use
I was surprised those are the same guys making the aeroband guitar (didn't remember the name of the thing). While the guitar is hot garbage (for reasons they can't fix because physics) but those sticks seem to be a really cool idea.
Congratulations for your "Great Drumming" but allow me to doubt the veracity of the video considering all the reviews of buyers who declare the declared performances impossible beyond very simple times ... I also understand that you can't spit on the plate where you eat but honestly I believe that in the long run these fake reviews will damage the company itself.
Ive been watching you for like 15 years and i'm sad you're endorsing this. Anyone who has actually owned and played the aeroband sticks know they do NOT play like that. They're terrible. You can barely play a simple beat without the drums changing. I'm convinced you've dubbed your own electric drums over this, but feel free to prove me wrong.
Cobus you’re a legend. By far my favorite person on all of the RUclipsiverse.
Haha thank you I appreciate that 🤙🏼

Because that review doesn't sound like you work for them at all...
There s#!+ alright. Too many wannabe you tubers pushing this crap. Please stop. Sent mine back after 10 minutes.
Thanks for sharing, always wanted to learn drums but due to space and sound I couldn’t invest in it. Now I’m gonna.

Want to write this comment but I've met your one. 😊
Had me laughing too 😂
Finally, a drumming solution that fits my lifestyle!😍
I'm out of words 😮 I'm one of those persons you mentioned, this is simply perfect!!!!! 😍🥰
That is freaking amazing. Awesome intro switching between real drums and these.
Most Def! That segment was awesome.
😎
The confused stank face reaction to the kick sound at 3:08 got me 😂
Amazing video. Definitely going to try these out and attempt to get my hands on your merchandise.

You're about to be very disappointed. Aeroband is garbage and I'm sad that so many talented drummers are selling out to promote it..

Looks good, but my main concern is about kick or hit the ground pedal 🤔. Looks like toys that could be broken easily
Ill stick with drums, but its so awesome to see how well you play those sticks!

There might be a gap in the market for vibrating drumsticks. That's all I'm saying.
Awesome!

Very ironic wearing an “I play the drums” shirt in a video that is all about playing *without* drums 😂

What do you think of the aerodrums 2? by aero drums?
hello brother, I'm your subsriber from 2012
I wasn't ready for the Mac jab. 😂❤
@cobus and everyone who might know this: Does this use a RTK system to define the position of the sticks?
How loud are the foot buttons?
Fantastic! Better than nothing.

According to their website its 6ms Low Latency
Can it be used to expand a drum kit?
Tempting, but I really like hitting things..
I can see buskers using these on the street...
That soothing south african accent….
