    I don't understand how people are scared of steak tartare when they eat sushi all the time

    • @Milksi_bons
      @Milksi_bons 5 лет назад +23

      Well raw beef aren't usually common and more looked to be seen as full of maggots or something without understanding it's the quality and care that makes it safe to eat. But sushi isn't even close to that and well, everyone knows it's safe to eat lol. Yes it can have maggots, but it can be safe to eat raw.

      fish is much safer than other conventional meats like chicken and pork. and so we dont care about eating rare fish. eating raw eggs often leads to salmonella so thats another reason why people are afraid.

    Here in Switzerland we eat tartare on toast with butter. You have your tartare "patty" in your plate, and you spread a bit of butter on your toast and put a dollup of tartare (so you repeat it with each bite, it doesn't come on the toast already). A really good way to eat it imo! Yummy!

It's literally ground beef with some shit mixed in, topped with an actual raw egg because let's round it off with maximum dumbass, shall we. People and their pretentious nonsense.
    Hey guys, I decided to let my dog shit on a plate, top it with some Japanese cherry blossom leaves and call it high-class dessert. I'm gonna charge $19.99 for it. Sound fair? I think it does.

I first tried it in Amsterdam in 1969 and only a couple more times in the intervening years (I'm 74 now) But that was when I was backpacking through Europe.
