I had a super first gen “series 0” and the jump to Series 3 with cellular was huge for me. 1-3 were all so similar looking back. 4 introduced a whole new shape and ECG, 5 had its Always on display, now 6 has its blood oxygen sensor, compass, altimeter. Very excited to see where these go :)
I have this Apple Watch 6 with cellular , I sleep with it and when I get up for work in the morning I put it on charge and in 20 min it’s topped off then after a 10hr work day I put it on charge while I shower and by time I’m dressed to relax it’s charged to full again . So I disagree that sleeping with it burns too much battery, quick charging top off twice a day works excellent for me . In my daily grind I’ve only burned 60% of battery and that was because listening to music with paired AirPod pros . As a bicyclist and avid mountain bike rider I really enjoy the exercise apps built in ! Good video! 🤓✌️🇺🇸
My Series 6 LTE is my first Apple Watch and I love it! A word about apps: 1) You can put the apps in a list so that you CAN see the names. 2) You can rearrange them in the honeycomb view so that the ones you use most are the easiest to see. Lastly, there is NO contest with the Fitbit. I had 6 Fitbits before switching over the the watch. The Apple Watch quality and functionality really leaves the Fitbit in the dust. In addition, for anyone deciding between the two devices, Fitbits die very quickly--6 months to a year with regular use. I know this from experience. Just get the Apple Watch.
I bought a stainless steel Series 6 back in December, used it for 3 weeks before returning it and buying a used stainless steel Series 4 instead for a fraction of the cost. The Apple watch I find that I use it mainly for notification and phone related functions and sometimes will track my sleep. The fitness tracking, blood oxygen, and always on I never used so it made no sense to keep the Series 6 when the Series 4 did everything I was using an Apple Watch for. Battery life of the Apple Watches I'm not too bothered by since I have always been the type to take off watches (analogy/mechanical ones) when I'm going to do things that I would have to end up washing my hands afterwards, like shower/restroom, cooking/washing. I never liked the feeling of a damp watch drying on my wrist. Drop it on the charger and put it back on when I'm done, basically have an always charged watch without having to think about it too much.
I take mine off once every evening for an hour for it to charge usually around 9pm with about 40% life left, after about an hour right before bed I put it back on for the day, I use this as my alarm clock so charging is no big deal to me!
I roll my eyes every time a reviewer mentions a round Apple Watch. The entire watch ecosystem is build on a square face (watch faces, apps, the UI, bands), so changing that would mean starting from scratch and, as the leading smart watch, that would be stupid of them to do.
I love series 6! It helps monitor my sleep and health. I hardly take my phone out now. And it’s ability to unlock my phone and computer when wearing a mask is Great during the pandemic. Apple Pay keeps me from having to touch card swipers. This watch is great I hardly ever take it off!!!!!!
Your review is thorough but you seem to miss the right perception of key features. Sleep Tracking, Noise notifications(Cities here in India are noisy and Watch helps keep track of how long to tolerate and change environment) features are some features I swear by. Keeping watch charged is simple if you just connect watch to power after waking up and may be while working; one gets used to it. Oxygen monitoring or ECG is important as anyone can get low oxygen issue due to Covid and yes hand washing is turned off but it's a feature for those who need.
Apple wants you to upgrade every year with a new product of theirs but I have found that the best way is to wait every 2-3 years and then upgrade to the latest. The cons you mentioned are the reasons why I don't agree why so many (probably all) tech reviewers hailed Apple Watch as the best one ever. What a joke lol. The fundamental aspects of a watch like short battery life and the lacking in sleep tracking feature no thanks to that first reason, it's just ridiculous. Even cheapo fitness band can do that like a piece of cake. Not to mention the shitty Siri is just a joke on your wrist. I don't god-damned care about the millions apps it has because it's still a freaking wearable on my wrist and I ain't going to view my Google Maps on the teeny tiny screen, I have my phone with me anyway lmao. No prob, just scroll further down a bit as the interface page has extra lengthier footer. I mean realistically you're not going to scan through your fitness stats and all on the tiny watch screen straight on for hours lol, quick glance at the summary data will do. The best thing about circular screen is it makes the hardware looks so much closer to classic timepiece and there are variety of beautiful round watchfaces to complement that looks, it's ingenious. @@MikeOBrienMedia OOOO YOU REPLIOEEDD. HIYA. Big fan! I also forgot to mention, I'm deep the apple ecosystem with a MacBook and an iPad. I will take your advice! Thank you I appreciate it so much.
Maybe wait for Iphone 13 pro? if my 5 year phone will still hold out maybe 😆
@@kryptokn It's no harm to try out alternative but since you're already in the Apple ecosystem, I would say iPhone still the best choice for you. Although if you're not in urgent need for a new phone, why not wait for the 2021 iPhone lineup to come out, it's already June now (half of year), just few months away from the new iPhone launch. Good things comes to those who wait. My 2 cents :D
@@obidean3964 Got It! Thank youu
Isn’t the 6 basically the 4?
No
The Apple watch is the best smartwatch till now . PERIOD . No iOS and android bs we just compare the watches
That's kind of what I said in the video... for most people. Extreme athletes, people who love fashion, and anyone seeking cheaper options will find other watches more suiting
great, thank you!
Apple Watch Series 6 Costs a Measly $136 to Make, With the SoC, Memory. But they're going to charge you $699 for it...
too expensive and not good enough battery life for me
Sleptracking is nr 1 for me, sleep disorder, wash your hand is covid memory, do nothing with it, ecg love it, saruratie idem, fitness app I love, falling functie as handicapped ideally, I love my 6, maybe that the ultra I switch the watch for me 😉
No vax no mask 🤷♂️
So many wrong things in this review…
🧐
For tablet, I can give that iPad is the best one but in the smartwatch, hell nope Apple Watch. My 2 cents ...
People don’t need to wear masks mandates are not law
Best option is the Galaxy watch 3 or active 2 both supports iOS and Android and offers more than the Apple Watch ⌚️
But the interface sucks. Gives fewer information as it compromises with it's circular shape. Good Os, but Apple's OS on the watch is better imo.
@@kryptokn I’m guessing u are using an iPhone cos u can’t compliment an Apple Watch without using an iPhone so it’s a must for u as it’s the only option Apple wants u to use the watch…no freedom there nor other options outside the apple ecosystem🚮
I can't wait for the redesign coming from the Samsung/Google collab later this year!
@@MikeOBrienMedia Same here it better be good 🔥🔥
I just watched the AMD keynote and the CEO sad the upcoming Exynos chip will come with the AMD RDNA 2 with Ray tracing graphics on it can’t wait for the next tab s8
@@kryptokn Not really actually. The brands are now smart enough to design around the circular screen quirks and even embrace it. Want to see more info? No prob, just scroll further down a bit as the interface page has extra lengthier footer. I mean realistically you're not going to scan through your fitness stats and all on the tiny watch screen straight on for hours lol, quick glance at the summary data will do.
The best thing about circular screen is it makes the hardware looks so much closer to classic timepiece and there are variety of beautiful round watchfaces to complement that looks, it's ingenious. My 2 cents ...
Only I love stevejobs I love apple 🍎
Ohhhhh! The dark side. For shame! Lol.
What can I say? 🤷
@@MikeOBrienMedia lol.
An Apple Watch is a useless purchase. Use your brains and a note pad or your 1400 dollar phone
lmao @ sleep tracking is useless hahaha
very ugly watch its like for kids, I prefer my Panerai 😁
So expensive and looks like a cheap piece of plastic. Certainly not something you wear as a good looking watch.
fisrt
Most of us knew that apple watch is full of useless gimmicks
Gimmicks are things u don't use. But it's better to have than none. It's what sells the product. If u use it on a normal basics it's not a gimmick.
helllloooooooo
uuuu

This year apple is releasing a new protected apple watch - nice guess from 2021
