    Question in one of your videos you set a base map and in closed loop it was removing fuel to keep it at 13.3....couldnt you just set a base map and let closed loop constantly keep it at 13.3? Why would you need to auto tune if you set a base map? Wouldnt auto tune just be constantly trying to keep it at 13.3 anyway like closed loop was already doing?

      Setting it this way allows for the Ecu to do less work. If you base is too rich or too lean it must compensate a lot more which takes time to make the change causing the tuning process to be slower and take longer. The closer you are to the ideal amount of fuel needed at that time of idle the less work is need of the ECU when it’s tuning once place in auto tune. Say you were 20% rich now it need to adjust a who 20% to get to 13.3, but if you get it close so it’s like 2-5% rich it only has to adjust that approximate 2-5%

    so, how was it with just the mini5 installed and no autotune?

    • @thehumblesavage2898
      @thehumblesavage2898  4 года назад +1

      Chris Agrusa as long as you have basic intake and exhaust it’s great since it’s a richer map than stock. As soon as you do the camshaft you need the auto tune

      Thanks. I have a zoom brute and the mtake. Do I need to adjust anything? Or be fine running as is? I am gonna get the auto tune as soon as I find a place to weld in the 18mm bung for me

    • @thehumblesavage2898
      @thehumblesavage2898  4 года назад

      Chris Agrusa it should be good as is. You can always watch your spark plug after rides and if you look lean could increase fuel a percent or two that’s how I did it and it was worked great
