Nice to see you give the SP22 coil a crack at the garden. Lovely coil with carbon stem in longish winter wheat/barley stubble. It'd be interesting to see what you make of it on the more rigid stem, especially in water.
The Deus and orx will smash the simplex every time again in real field circumstances. Used them all, and the simplex could not handle the circumstances on my surchgrounds. Lot of trashy roman and medival grounds.
Running a slightly negative gb is how people used to "super tune" some detectors. But you will give up some proper i.d.s and discrimination may be a little off.. this does not work on every machine so testing is key.
@@midwesttreasureandrelicrec7914 Very true. The Vaquero/Tejon Analogue MD's respond well, especially if you tune thresh/GB to 'razor edge' (from my experience with both), however, as you say, try at home first. Digitals aint analogues.
The Simplex you may be able to negative GB and get away with it but with the Deus I always manual GB neutral because it will just false ground on every swing. I can tell you that is one struggle I have with the Deus in my red hot soil must be gb perfect or will drive you nuts with falsing. Ground tracking is tough in my soil here with any machine.
AM is alot deeper, with much faster separation and recovery time from hit to hit, the MD isn't being cluttered by filtering. It's the way to go on open ground. Here's a tip for hunting moderately or clean ground in AM; if you get a tiny scratchy signal in discrimination mode ( it Can Have an iron tone), don't ignore it, flick over to AM; If the signal tone in AM is louder, Walk On, it's iron, if it remains the same or 'cleans up' a wee bit, DIG. That's how tiny quarter gold staters, and tiny thin-section silver hammered coins get found at WAY beyond any VDI number range!
@@jetlui87 You are very welcome, I hope that it brings you luck. Remember, if the tiny ( iron-ish) tone gets louder, in All Metal, leave it. It's Iron.....All metal is an arrow to the bow, not simply as an aid for ground balancing.
spot on :) when i chuck the x 35 on my orx, its every bit as good as it is on the deus, i mean, coin fast is deus fast end of story.. Our mate Paystreak, is trying his best to make a case for the hf coils for his hunting conditions, but the x35 coils are more than enough. i mean if you hunt with the 9 inch x35 it is by design deeper than the 9 inch hf coil in any frequency, END OF STORY.But if they release an x 35 elliptical coil, there would be no need for the hf coils, for most of us :)
Went out with the simplex today and everytime i had a great signal i had your voice in my head: "that sounds killer mannn" and im dutch 😂 Love your videos, keep em coming! I'm learning more and more everytime.
My orx problem ground balance in 54 khz !!! For ground balance in HF coil is problem ground mineralizescion 0 on 3 bar ??? no mineralizescion no ground balance ????? 😫😫😫😫
I really like your videos comparing metal detectors. Great stuff! Thanks.
Glad you like them!
simples is unbelievable , i've déus full ad simplex and other detectors too , the simplex is the best ever price ratio perfs.
what a coincidence! Im about to have the SP22 coil delivered today. Running it on the 2.77

Perfect !!! For coin x 35 9 perfect coil !! MD frequensy is KILLER for coin !! 8 11 12 14 17 !!!
Love your videos man. Keep it up. How can I purchase one of your leather sheaths for my digger?
I've experienced if you lower the ground balance by 10 or so after ground balancing, you can hit targets at deeper depths. you see any truth in that?

Good ask.

@@PaystreakSuperfreak Great info. Things move on. 'Fuel injection vs Carb'. F I wins!
wich mode goes deeper? field or all metal??

You could just run the orx with the x 35 in coin deep 7.7 or 11.3 and disc 5.5 and hit everything

Please make similar video with some gold targets!
did you end up keeping the orx?
I do have the ORX still
For $250.00 bucks I'll take the Simplex and put the rest of the money 💰💰💰 in the Bank. ✌️✌️✌️
Wise man, with good common-sense imo.
Fiyatına göre simplex 👍
I never have problems with my ORX .
It gives me a lot off medival coins .
