His cousin Tony Bongiovi was working there at the time so it makes sense he would have been present as well. Doesn't mean Jon still isn't full of it (lol) but his tale is at least plausible. Queen's drummer Roger Taylor has said in at least one interview that the track was recorded in Montreux and finished in New York.
So many memories of Bon Jovi. I've been along for the ride the whole 40 yrs. A lifetime of memories from the music. He turned in to a charitable man with all he does for the needy. He grew up to be a good dude. The documentary is really good too
Bon Jovi owns restaurants throughout Jersey, that feed the homeless and needy. Jon will personally spend time at these establishments washing dishes or serving people. Thanks, Jon! You are a great American! 🤘❤

One of the few times Stephen C. says “I live in New Jersey.” You I’ve been living in New Jersey for decades, and yet never really mentioned it on the show and give the impression that you live in NYC. We know the show is in NYC but Stephen you could have occasionally said a word or two about living in NJ or some connection in previous shows. It’s nice when you pay homage to birthplace & growing up in South Caroline and mention early years in Second City & Chicago but I’ve rarely heard you speak of NJ, where you chose to settle down and raise a family. I too chose to raise my family in NJ and appreciate the good things, know of and complain about its downsides, and make fun of the weird things. Jon Bon Jovi is phenomenal all over the globe and yet NJ all the way - and it took him to come on stage for you to show some affinity to NJ.

I was busking in Kent Washington when a limo pulled up and four guys went in the store. As they came out, someone said something and I stopped performing. "Pardon?" A guy with three other guys framing around him. "Do you know any Jon Bon Jovi?" The middle guy asked. "He never played anything I ever wrote." The three around him were chuckling and snickering. I was busking in Kent Washington when a limo pulled up and four guys went in the store. As they came out, someone said something and I stopped performing.

A guy with three other guys framing around him.
