Wow! Some great finds and that town has a lot to offer. Easy access to the train is a huge plus for those that will need to wait until they are residents to buy a car.
Beautiful set of Satsuma. Because not all Satsuma is worth money. Great surprise. I think this locker is really educating you in the field of antiques. Happy for you
Well, I don’t know which home I want from the half dozen I have seen from your video collection. This one, without even seeing the interior is a winner because of the historical beauty this town has. It is breathtaking. Typing while I anticipate the interior look. Am looking forward to my future Italian home. Which one though…
Good info, Tommy! Saw you commented on David Benton"s Live site about a week ago...been watching his weekly shows and properties for months. And then again last week, did you watch the webinar Fabien did about living in France? I saw someone with your name ask on the Q&A. Guess Hillsborough is not the only place we have in common! LOL!
I had an interest in the first property about a year ago. The realtor would not respond. I was even in the town a few months ago. Pitty. I'll be launching a video of Pontremoli very soon, among other towns in the area. Travel and house buying adventures. Thanks for the channel.
The most important necessity retirees need to look for is quality health care. There may be issues for health care coverage for retirees moving to Europe in general. Unlike the USA ambulance services will vary from ok to none. As for most of these older Italian properties they are all stairs but that is not an issue, there are chair lifts available that can be installed in most stairwells without impeding the use of the stairs. Due diligence is needed when purchasing a home anywhere in Southern Europe since there will be some issues with laws that appear strange to the average American. You will have to adapt to laws and customs of the country and region and basically forget about how things work in America or Canada. Do your research and sit back and enjoy!
Thanks for watching. Healthcare in Italy is excellent. Their system is rated well above the US and Italy beats America in almost every health related statistic.
Pronto soccorso One of my criteria is to live VERY close to an excellent ER. A church close by would also be nice. It has to be no more than 30 minutes from the airport, and close to a sailboat marina, among many other things. Stick pronto soccorso into google maps as a destination.
@@JoeB1207 This is a great tip! I always try to search using the English term, then also in the Italian. It's amazing how different the search results can be.
I usually start with Gate-Away.com. Often, I'll try to find the agent's website because there may be more/better pics and info. Then I'll check the area around the property with Google Maps. Thanks for watching!
Is it in the 7% TAX Program area? If I live in a 7% and in addition I own an AIRBNB at a different area. Would it all my income under what tax bracket?
Tuscany, where these properties are, is NOT eligible for the 7% tax. If you earn income IN ITALY, it cannot get the 7% tax break. ONLY foreign “passive income” will work for the 7% flat income tax. Thanks for the question!
@@godblessabra2036 There's too much to answer here. If retired, you'd apply for the Elective Residency Visa, which has passive income requirements (€38,000 for a couple). You also have to either own a home in Italy, or have a lease to stay, when applying for this visa. You can renew it indefinitely.
All of them. Just depends on your particular circumstances and needs. Love all your videos, entertaining and informative. Am convinced to buy in Italy except I have to ask how Italians look at and treat Asians? Read some negative experiences from African American exchange students and even famous Persons of color who happen to be professional athletes being treated poorly by Italian fans. Would appreciate your frank opinion. TIA.
I (obviously) have no personal stories, but have read about similar issues from black Americans. I would guess, like in the US, there are pockets or areas that have more conservative or outdated views of immigrants and people of different races. Sadly this is still an issue in much of the world still. 😔
Wasn't concerned about the rest of the world, just Italy coz you really sell the place very well. I suppose it's an answer and I thank you very much for even replying. More power to your channel.
Europe is an amazing place to visit or live. The cost of living in the US is getting too high for many. Plus countries like Italy WANT Americans (and others) move it and help revitalize certain areas. Thanks for watching!
Health care costs are much more affordable in Europe typically. We have health insurance here in the USA. My wife pays $750 a month for 4 people. I bet if we were to move to Italy, our health costs will drastically drop. Plus in the USA, lots of foods here are overly processed and in many cases, more calories are added than what is needed and that is one leading cause of Americans being overweight amongst other issues.
Which did you like best? The €75K, €150K, or the €44K property?
What was wrong with my comment sir? May I know why you deleted it? I thought some extra info could help.....
Wow! I love the walking trail ❤. Great properties. I like the $44,000.
Thanks for watching Michelle!

Exactly 👍
Plus the ability to get to large cities easily and all day make it super convenient.
Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Great Job Again Tommy! Thank you for the 7% tax info from before. I appreciate you!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.

I have no idea what this means?!?

I haven’t checked recently. But the property listing is in the description 👍
@@RetireToEurope thanks for prompt response
Looks like its in the middle of roads
It is. Right next to the river and a short walk to the train station.
The other 2 properties I showed are right in town.
Love the videos
Thanks so much!

What sort of visa for none-EU to buy Tuscany property?
No visa needed. You could buy a property today.
But if you want to stay more than 90 days every 180 days, you’ll need a visa.
What are the requirements for a US citz to be a permanent resident of Italy? Thanks.

How can i find a country home outside of Tuscany?
Go to Gate-Away.com click “Quick Search” and select Tuscany.
It’s a large region so you’ll have thousands of properties to browse.
Good luck!

Italians at the moment have a anti chinese policy that also brainwashed their citizen to hate chinese. I am chinese but I don't behave like chinese.

The racist lives in North Italy
@@ail-on3px who? A. Hitler was born in Austria, which is North of Italy. Is that who you're talking about?
How about Sicily?
Sicily has a ton of affordable housing. Check on Gate-Away.com. They have thousands of homes for sale in Italy.
You should show more of the property itself with less of a history that's why I didn't bother to finish watching
I always show all the property photos. There were no more.
Thanks for watching as much as you did! 🙏
Very American of you.
This is also why YOU should NOT consider purchasing in our country. History is very important to Italians!
Because they doesn't respect nothing.!
I agree with you! Too much history 🤐
