As a Yankees fan I’m happy for the Padres and their fans. You guys deserve this and man that crowd was electric last night. Beat 2 100 win teams. Playing great at the right time, that’s what it’s all about in the postseason.
Yanks need to do the same at the Stadium tomorrow. Judge seems to have gotten his batting eye back....hits are due to come, & there is energy on the team. It should be rocking tomorrow, but in context, we're much more used to big games, so even if the Yanks win, we won't be throwing babies on the field like they may have done in SD....lol.

As a Dodgers fan, I have to say that the Padres really did earn this. Im glad we got rid of the players who didn't care and hopefully the LAD-SD rivalry next year will be stronger than ever, with the Dodgers bringing up some rookies with some fight in them. Bring it on!
The Padres were very strategic in this series. They knew their chance to win involved winning both home games of 5 total. They also knew they had to go through their rotation to rest them up after the brilliant WDS, especially with trash Manaea thankfully not being allowed to start. So they played their worst pitcher left in Clevinger in game 1 which they knew they had little chance of winning anyways. This allows them to combine their best pitchers with their best chances of winning, starting with Yu Darvish in G2 who is the least bothered by away crowds, to get the ball rolling coming in to San Diego. That pitching move won them the series more than anything else IMHO
I went to game 3 and it was the craziest thing I've ever seen. Ppl say fox turned up the crowd noise on TV but that's a fat lie it was just insanely loud

Watching this series compared to ATL vs PHI, I felt like ATL doesn't deserve to lose that badly, not mean PHI doesn't deserve to win, but you can see PHI's bats are much hotter than ATL, especially in game 4. But LAD deserve to lose this series, SD's bats did not explode in this series, they just have a little better starting pitching, bullpen, getting some timely hits, and coaching much better(not sure what front office did behind the scene), LAD cannot use rust as an excuse in this series, they just got outplayed.
