    Any footage of them polishing them? I'm especially curious about how they polish the painted ones without damaging the designs.

      Interesting, I haven't seen the polishing step, surely something to do on the next visit. The color you see on the final teapot is not paint, the painting is only a guide for the carver. The carved parts are filled with colored clay, that means you have a much thicker layer of color than if it was paint, and polishing should not affect the shape of the decorations visibly.
