All I could think of is I bet she would’ve *easily* made it to her 100th birthday and she had to go out in this terribly tragic way. 😢 RIP, dear ladies.
My hometown a lawyer had his whole house shot up with automatic weapons killing his mother and daughter. Than they entered the house shot him until he was unrecognizable and found his wife and tortured her than shot her in the spine paralyzing her before continuing to go kill the family pets and their three other children. 1 of the kids was 9 months old.
It was 1 guy who did it. He was never caught.

Perfectly valid point. If he was hearing voices (mentioned in video) then they could have been telling him to do horrendous things. Seems to happen sometimes.
How come no one ever argues against the “voices” in their head?
It’s almost as if the “voices” only tell you to do things that you already want to do anyway…
Some schizophrenic patients do fight it. They describe it as a horrible battle, like they have to fight their own mind, knowing the hallucinations aren't real, but still experiencing them. I've seen this in videos on RUclips where patients share what it is like to battle their mental conditions.
Of course, the ones who end up on channels like due to voices in their head have apparently lost the battle or were too delusional to realise what is going on. (I'm not a doctor, just basing my opinion on various interesting things over the years.)

@@ACDZ123so wrong. The order to stand down was insane and that chief is a total idiot and should be in prison for giving it, but the individual cops should have ignored it and ran in. It is policy everywhere in the country to go straight in if there is an active shooter, even if you're alone. You arrive there first, you go in, no exceptions
@anonymoose2474 freemasonic chief doing the bidding of the deep state ..they wanted maximum casualties so the gun ban narrative could garner support . We have evil people running things
This is why I SUPPOURT the courage and dedicated men and woman who give there lives for there community 🙏 I pray 🙏 for the female that was shot and the officer that was shot in the hand! THANK YOU!
Absolutely crazy video. Thank you for posting
These types of footages make me have mad respect for people in this field
Impeccable teamwork, securing the property. Everyone should be commended. Blessings to all involved, from Australia.

SECURING THE PROPERTY????????????????????????????? lol how about not putting officer safety first and ending the threat to citizens.
you must be watching a different video lol this was the worst way to deal with this

@@A__Ehey, genuine question as I don’t watch many cop videos, was there something else they were supposed to do?

All thosr cops are well trained and handled that dang good. Its gotta be the most efficient group ive seen working together in such a confusing situation.

The crotch is a dangerous area to get shot. There's a major artery there
Yeah, also the pelvic bowl shot will put you on your ass
One of my favorite RUclips channels covers the mass shooting that happened in Farmington. I live in Aztec, where the school shooter attacked in 2017, then last year, in 2023, in the city next to me, this happened. Farmington has people from all (a good amount) neighboring cities and reservations, including people from Colorado who shop here. This was absolutely one of the scariest events to happen in our town in recent years, he was graduating and he chose to change his life forever. One of the victims was my mother's co-worker's mother. He was targeting females. There were a lot of rumors and conversations on the local community crime watch Facebook pages. It was truly a horrific day. He had an AR-15-style rifle, 22 caliber pistols, and 9 mm pistols. He had access to more than 1,400 rounds of ammunition. They blamed mental health issues. Thank you for covering it Ewu. One of the only channels I search every other day to see any new uploads.
I believe he was hearing voices that were accusing him of doing things to his sister and he knew he didn't. Instead of figuring out his mental health, he wanted to be ended by the police, but he never needed to take anyone with him. He will forever be known in history as a cowardly monster nothing more.
who does that and doesnt have mental issues?
@@vchallswrc this should be clear but you don't have to have mental issues or mental disorders to do awful horrible things.
@@mariomurcia7509I stand by my statement because it's based on facts. According to FBI statistics, crime is mainly caused by various adverse social, economic, cultural, and family conditions. While mental illness can contribute, it's not as prevalent in violent crime as people believe. Research shows that only 3-5% of violent acts are committed by individuals with mental illness.
@@notyourneurotypicalartist1010 the thing mario said
@@mariomurcia7509 you said true like you agreed but didn't. Because the average person is capable of committing violent crimes. The main factors for violent crimes being committed are economic conditions, cultural factors, family conditions, and climate- even negative social environments, substance abuse, low self-esteem, and low self-control are all the top contributing factors to crimes being perpetrated. Mental illness is almost always an underlying factor is a false statement, that shouldn't be said. That false narrative you're speaking just continues to hurt people who have mental illnesses. What you're saying DOESN'T help the people who do have mental illnesses. “3% of violent crimes in a sample of 1,151 newly incarcerated criminal offenders were attributed to people with major mental disorders. In addition, 7% were attributed to offenders with primary substance abuse disorders.” So maybe reevaluate the facts you have on crime being committed, mental illness, and substance abuse. Stop spreading false information, please.
I have viewed many of Your Body Cam Footage. I find this one really terrifying for some reason. I am an R.N and I was horrified when the Officer went in the ER with a GSW and idiot asking Him if He has been to this hospital before and for His DOB. Dear God Man You have an LE with GSW what kind of hospital is this. Plus maybe just camera angles but I saw not a heavy LE presence and No Swat. An absolute tragedy. Three Women killed one 97 years old Dear God. Glad these Hero Officers were ok. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💔💔💔💔💙💙💙💙💙💙
Crazy that none of those residents had a gun. When seconds matter the police are minutes away.
His dad bought a gun knowing his son was struggling mentally? What do people like that use for brains?
He didn't care about what was happening with his son. Like, everyone knew He was going crazy and started hearing voices but their parents were oki doki with it. That's when everything starts falling apart.
Maybe dad bought it to defend himself against his son.
@@misterputin8898You know people like that are rather unnaturally strong right
@@bobknull7502then he did a piss poor job securing it
@@Arcademan09 I agree.
You do the ABSOLUTE BEST body cam video breakdowns of all the thousands of RUclips channels doing g this. Incredible!!
The fact the officer had to say “get back inside people” is insane in itself
I heard the shots as there was an attempted mass shooting 2 days ago at my local Krogers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I used to work there so seeing this makes my heart race. I hope that those who are troubled and suffering get the help that they need. The world is a dark place without this senselessness as is. Those who passed are in a much better place now. (also what a badass name, Stamatiadis and Discenza)

A HS senior wrote that? Are we sure he wasn't framed by a toddler?
His parents don’t seem big on the personal responsibility.
Yeah honestly it was hurting my brain trying to comprehend it

The cop who went “huh” after reading it pretty much summed up my reaction.
People are always so hard on police, and I know police are far from perfect at times, but when I see videos like this, it makes me a little more comfortable knowing we have brave cops.
I see this comment everywhere and it trips me out because it's like deja vu times ten...wtf
So true though.

Well done, EWU.
That was intense. Thank you to all of the first responders for all they do to protect us everyday. They don't get near the credit they deserve. ♥️🙏
I live in Farmington, this day was crazy. Thanks for covering this❤

Which day was this?
You got superb police like we do here in Iowa. Kudos to your cops!
Absolutely phenomenal police work.
Russel/ EWU, everyone still doesnt believe you're not a robot 😂😂😂 thanks for another great video 🎉 this is insane, and makes me grateful i don't live in the USA.
I love your videos and this is no exception
After reading some comments below there is nothing I can add that hasn't already been said. So to reiterate: Awesome and gripping compilation of this tragic story; well done captioning for us deaf folks; hats off to those brave officers; and most off all, RIP to those three dear ladies.

Man first off condolences to the lost ones and their families.
Second of all, mental health is very serious and scary. These people really do hear voices and they can’t control it. It’s insane. I have a brother who went through an episode like this and he would tell me he hears voices and it’s a scary thing because I believe him and I have no way of helping him. Plus he even sometimes is scared to open up about it because he says I do not understand. I am always scared that he goes back into an episode just like it and he out of control does something like this.
These people need help. Better help from our system and our government. Or else these tragedies will continue to happen.
Imagine that 97 year old woman who lived through the Great Depression and everything else, only to get shot and die tragically in the street. God rest her soul.
RIP to the victims. Thank you for another impeccable video, EWU.
First time I heard a Mexican Russian accent before.

This is definitely one of the craziest and scariest body cam videos I have ever seen! WHOA! Good job to all professionals involved!
Man it would suck to be the one shot but it would also be nerve-wracking to be the one trying to medically attend to somebody while gunshots are being fired all around you.... FRICK man
If he was mentally unstable,so why did the father go and buy another gun?
Because America
Bad parenting
Watching from another country in incredulity that Americans allow this in their society.
@@sroberts605 Allow?
SRoberts,
The problem is that the National Rifle Association pays a TON of money to whomever will support them in our government.
Therefore, the folks in power have good reason to block any gun-control measures that could make a REAL change in our society.
The average US citizen doesn’t have as much of a say in this as most other countries seem to think we do.
No matter how we vote, the ones in power who deal in corruption will do what they will.
this is insanity! the beginning just popping right off with "i got shot!" that is terrifying
I just looked it up and this video does a fantastic job of breaking this down because the time between the first 911 call and the shooters death was only 8 minutes

This is a fucking war zone.
The sounds of police helping their own officers aches my heart, and the willingness of the community to help victims, including officers, is just amazing.
The crazy part is that dude that got shot on the hand walked he’s way into the hospital just happily saying “I got shot in my hand”
