- I put the motor in the frame, install a new carburetor and start the bike for the first time. I take it for a test ride to make sure the transmission works.

Have you done anything with the gearing? I got a 99 xr70r and the gearing is horrible. 2nd gear seems to bog if you are going too slow and give it full throttle.
Was that an Ebay aftermarket carb? If so did it seem to work good?
where was the loose ground that you tightened? I have the same model bike and it seems to have a loss of power and wont rev up. Thought that I might aswell check if that's my problem.
It is on the frame under the seat.
did you notice a speed/torque increase with this?
Yea it’s way better than stock. Much more low end torque and the overall top speed it faster too.
Why did u port it will it run wrong if u don’t
I didn’t really port it just cleaned it up. It runs great, never had any issues with it and it starts first kick.
@@MarleyJaxGarage ok cause I had to port mine to run good and now idk if it over heated or what but I got about 10 hours on mine now and it bogs at full throttle so I might need to clean the carb
