Love it. I perform sprint intervals up the stairs of the building I work in. I keep rest periods long enough to allow for repeats at high speed. Feels fantastic afterwards for sure.
Hi Marco! You got to watch for symmetry in your workouts always. Sorry to hear about your injury. Take easy and I wish you the fastest recovery and come back possible ;)
Interesting, I'm into powerlifting right now (will always remain a cali fan at heart though), but I was looking for a low joint stress conditioning aerobic excercise since I actually enjoy regular running a lot, but was having issues with my knees. I will give these a try, thanks Anthony!
Hey friend? I’m a firefighter LBKA from a motorcycle accident. I’m in the process of physical therapy and rehabilitation to make it back to FD. What foot do you have on your prosthesis? Or recommend? I can’t wait to start being active again. Take care friend and your channel is awesome and inspiring.
Hi there Bálint! I like starting with a wall-sit and following that instantly with a sprint. I go through this in detail in the following vid, check it out: ruclips.net/video/VuJZibDerPA/видео.html
Hey Anthony, thanks for this great video. One quick question - in each set you advise from beginners to advanced, how many reps would there be in each set?
Start with some mobility drills for your ankles and after that go for 2-3 (two if it's warm and late in the day and 3 if it's cold/early) warm up hill sprints sets. Your first will be around 50% intensity and the second one around 65%.
J D thank you for the information, I really appreciate it, I use to do sprints a few yrs ago , but my knees went south on me, I’m going to do this tomorrow, what type of spinning bike did you get if you don’t mind me asking? Thank you again for the information.

I have been hill sprinting for 3 weeks now and I can feel and see the difference in my body already. Awesome.

@@25inspector you'll get stronger if you work on it 💪🏻
I love both cardio and sprint. A long cardio run finish of by a fucking sprint till the heart explode, a fucking good sensation.
One of the best and most informative vids on hill sprints- a fountain of youth

Hi Felix !
Oooo the weather looks chilled, love running in that!
Well here in Phx it's tough during summer times to do outdoor activities, I work early so, its tough to make happen.
you can do the same workout indoors with a static bike (or assault bike, rowing machine, etc)
I did this but always in a curve to the right and i torn my left soleous....3 months of recovery, starts slow. Great vídeo, saludos from Argentina.

Hi! I have an ossur prosthesis (model is called re-flex). Pm me on instagram for more details :)
Great vid! What's your take on supersetting it with bodyweight slow squats or lunges? I think for hypertrophy it would make a sense.

@@BodyweightMuscle Thanks!
Great video! How do you think hill sprints compare to cycling sprints?
Hi Shaun, I don't like exercises that have you in a sitted position but other than that, cycling sprints are great for for physical condition !
I live in the Netherlands so I dont have access to hills, nice!
Haha, I lived there 8 years so I feel you :D, try stair running !
@@BodyweightMuscle 😂😂
Precies dat! Haha!
Thanks Anthony. How many reps per set do you recommend?
Hello Patric, I have detailed guidelines at the end of the video 5:01
The guidelines say how long each sprint is but not how many sprints in a set. Also is the recommended rest after each set or after each sprint?
AARLY!
Are you super hero
Are you super excited
Anthony, I cant do hill sprints, because of arthritis in both my knees, could sprinting on a stationary bike be a good alternative?
Sure work on 30 seconds intensity and one minute rest for 4-6 sets
Bodyweight Muscle , Anthony that sounds great, thank you , how many times a week do you suggest?

J D thank you for the information, what is the Reddit bodyweight workout? Thank you again for the information
Hello Brother😁
Hi my man!
What is the length of the sprint? 50 yards? More? Less?
I recommend 20 seconds in the summer and men below 30 years old and 30 seconds and more during the winter and older men
@@BodyweightMuscle So 30 seconds for older men?
@@cryptoboss2904 yes, lower time usually means more speed and more possibilities for injury (i.e. pulling a hammie)
