I'm amazed by the free flowing, yet deliberate brush strokes- So much control. This is my goal as an artist. I have yet to reach it. Thank you for these inspiring videos.

You will get there if you persevere.Robert makes everything look easy. It isn't. It takes a lot of hard work to attain this level of competence.

I had the privaledge of meeting Robert on our trip to France in 2013...when walking by his shop and seeing he fabulous paintings, i just had to go in. We bought 2 paintings from him that I look at every single day...they bring me such joy and wonderful memories of a fabulous artist taking the time to speak with us. I hope one day to return and of course, buy more art...

wow! thanks so much for sharing this. You have found a fantastic talent on your day out and it's awesome that you share this with the rest of us. Just the kind of inspiration i'll watch repeatedly to get me out of my studio and paint outdoors. Thanks a million too for the generous artist. It's obvious he is a seasoned plein air painter.

thank you for your positive comment.Very rare and very lucky to find an artist prepared to be filmed from start to finish.Robert is a master in these situations. There is no fear when you truly are a master

I have seen 'plein-aire' a few times in my life in New York. I agree, about respecting the distance and privacy of the artist. I attribute this to 'respect for respect' vs 'an eye for an eye'. God given mutual respect! It's what makes a more pleasant experience for both artist and onlooker! Once again, another excellently pleasant video demonstration! Bravo at the artist as well as Davy Lim! Bravo!

I was a little uncomfortable about asking questions while Robert was concentrating. He ,on the other hand seemed quite at ease with the situation...so the chat continued until the road driller came along...that didn't bother Robert either.Amazing artist. Thanks for the positive comments.
