    What if the black and red wires are reversed on 240? The black on L2 and the red(white) in L1?

      Hi there! Since there is no polarity on the thermostat, this will not affect anything.

    To clarify: This video is showing the installation of the thermostat on a 220v circuit (as to explain why the outlet box has two white and two black 12ga wires) The smaller gauge white and red wires are from the floor temperature sensors.

    Funny guys. Can't create account in the app without accessing "WiFi/Weather menu on the thermostat. Since I can't access the thermostat functions per your instructions, no account set up. Nice illogic loop I'm stuck in.

      Hi there! Our thermostat was made to be compatible with our DITRA-HEAT cables. If you decide to use an another type of cable, it would be best to ask the cable manufacturer to know if they would approve and validate the compatibility of our thermostat with their systems. Hope that helps! 🍊

      Hi Dominik! Bluetti power station via extension cable can be used if and only if the heating cable ground braid is grounded. Hope that helps!

    • @schlutersystems1
      @schlutersystems1  Месяц назад

      Hello! The floating ground can be used but we recommend that the installation be done according to the instructions given in the video.

    • @schlutersystems1
      @schlutersystems1  Месяц назад

      Hi Dominik! I got more information back from our Technical department. There are different Bluetti power stations on the market. Not all Bluetti power stations have the same capacity. Make sure that it has the capacity to work with the floor warming application you are planning to do. In addition to that, it is very important to ground the thermostat on the Bluetti designed ground.

    At what point are you required to have the additional power module?

    • @schlutersystems1
      @schlutersystems1  Год назад +2

      Hi there! The power module may be used in conjunction with the DITRA-HEAT-E-WIFI, DITRA-HEAT-E-RT, or DITRA-HEAT-E-R thermostats when the heating load exceeds 15 amps (e.g., in large floor applications) to maintain a single point of control.

      Hi there! First, you'll need to download the APP. Around the 4:35 minute mark of the video, we go over that process. There is no button on the screen to start the WiFi, but if you press the up/down arrow at the same time during the set up, you'll be able to get there. Please contact Customer Service if you have any difficulties setting it up. You can reach them at 800-472-4588 (US) or 800-667-8746 (CA). Hope that helps!

    on a 220 connection where does the White wire go to complete the circuit

    • @schlutersystems1
      @schlutersystems1  4 месяца назад +1

      If you are referring to a 3 wire set up, where you have two lines for the 240V power and a third for the "neutral" (that's not needed), you should check your local codes for the proper way to cap that wire off.
