    To clarify: This video is showing the installation of the thermostat on a 220v circuit (as to explain why the outlet box has two white and two black 12ga wires) The smaller gauge white and red wires are from the floor temperature sensors.

    Can you please fix the app so I can control the older ditra heat Wi-Fi units along with the new rs1 in the same app? Silly that I need 2 apps to control the schluter thermostats in my home. I had to watch this video before realizing it’s a different app!

      Hi there! We looked into this and unfortunately 2 apps are needed for these 2 separate thermostats. However, we will keep this feedback in mind for future development.

      Hi there! Since there is no polarity on the thermostat, this will not affect anything.

    When i press the test button, is it supposed to say GFCI fault as it only show at that time and not while running. I just got it installed and when i set temperature it keeps on rising compared to what the floor temperature is, nothing on the screen other than only when i press test it shows GFCi fault .

      Hi there! First, you'll need to download the APP. Around the 4:35 minute mark of the video, we go over that process. There is no button on the screen to start the WiFi, but if you press the up/down arrow at the same time during the set up, you'll be able to get there. Please contact Customer Service if you have any difficulties setting it up. You can reach them at 800-472-4588 (US) or 800-667-8746 (CA). Hope that helps!

    Where does the White wire go

    • @schlutersystems1
      @schlutersystems1  28 дней назад

      If you are referring to a 3 wire set up, where you have two lines for the 240V power and a third for the "neutral" (that's not needed), you should check your local codes for the proper way to cap that wire off.

    At what point are you required to have the additional power module?

    • @schlutersystems1
      @schlutersystems1  Год назад +2

      Hi there! The power module may be used in conjunction with the DITRA-HEAT-E-WIFI, DITRA-HEAT-E-RT, or DITRA-HEAT-E-R thermostats when the heating load exceeds 15 amps (e.g., in large floor applications) to maintain a single point of control.

      Hi there! Our thermostat was made to be compatible with our DITRA-HEAT cables. If you decide to use an another type of cable, it would be best to ask the cable manufacturer to know if they would approve and validate the compatibility of our thermostat with their systems. Hope that helps! 🍊
