- Soco falls is a must stop right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway and is just 5 miles from the ski town of Maggie Valley and is considered one of the best North Carolina Waterfalls in the Smoky Mountains.

Another beautiful waterfall - we drove this section of road years ago, but had to stop stopping as we were running out of daylight! I’m not real comfortable at the tops of waterfalls and apparently for good reason.
Yeah even this trail was slippery compared to other waterfalls I have checked out! Hope all is well with you all!! Stay safe!
Try out Mingo Falls in Cherokee. A bit of an uphill walk but worth it.

Yes but it is an easy waterfall to check out and get right back on the Blue Ridge parkway. We just did an every stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway video from Cherokee to Waynesville, hope you check it out for us and let us know what you think of it!!
