My gosh, I have not seen this before--how wonderful. I'm going to come at this from another point of view--Cudos to Lanchbery for such a colorful and richly orchestrated little ditty (but textures kept very open and not too heavy). He was such a wonderful writer (several ballets, too) in his own right!

Et pourquoi ne pas regarder le ballet tout entier sur RUclips ? Comme vous le dites en avant-propos, la "gardienne" est toujours dansée par un homme. Un regret : le peu de place consacré aux commentaires. J'aurais aimé faire comprendre que d'une seule oeuvre, la curiosité ouvre des horizons inouÏs sur d'autres compositurs. A.GREDAY.
My school is doing this for our Spring Concert this year :) I wish someone could upload the whole DVD! We'll be learning the parts from this version, and it would help me a lot.
Off to my local and charming Edwardian hall (was converted to a cinema in 1911) to see this digital transmission of (La Fille Mal Gardee) on May 16th. The Picturedrome Bognor Regis is in the stages of complete restoration.

@Ksharp1fan I'm one of 90% people who have watched this video after watching the TV ad where Kaká appears. It has been only an ironic comment for this amazing piece.
