still one of my personal favorites. just picked up Santal Intense, the edp version, and its everything you'd love about the edt, but longer lasting and projects better.
I've been using sandal since 2006 I think. I preferred sandal extreme ,but it was discontinued. This week I bought the new santal intense and is freaking beautiful
Another one I bought on your recommendation. It was love at first sniff. This and ormond jayne man are my best purchases in a long time and my search is over for a long while.
always keen for these videos keep up the great work. Thanks for putting time into youtube. Can we also please get a seasonal favourite 10 list from you that covers both niche and designer?
Hi when I was watching the review on this cologne I decided to order it. When it came in and I’m really quite surprised at just how good it really is. Sometimes as you know Floris, Acqua Di Parma are very heavy on the front with green, earth, notes. But this one is blended so that the green is milder and the sandalwood find a perfect blend that work perfect together. I bought the EDT but I’m going to get the EDP right away. O man it’s good. Thanks!
Man, I love seeing your reviews and feel that I can blind-buy any fragrance that you view favorably. I will have to look into that one because it I have Layton Eclusif, but want something a little lighter with a twist.
my favorite fragrance for years and sadly no longer available is Sienna by Crabtree & Evelyn. This may actually dethrone it. I just can't get over how wonderful this fragrance is.
Nice review, I think this is more up my ally as opposed to 1962 which has been sadly discontinued. Edit: ended up buying this on sale and I am so happy its my new signature scent.
I just bought Acqua di Parma Sandalo EDC thanks to you and I really love it! How it is Floris Santal related to AdP Sandalo EDC and do you consider that it is worthy to have them both?
Hello! A little late on the channel, but if you see this comment: is this one an unisex fragrance or is it more masculine? What do you think? Because you described that it’s soft and there is a sweet note as well… so I was wondering 😊
@@llchaves Santal was a bit of a disappointment for me. But Neroli Voyage is very good if you like Neroli. It has a very strong and persistent neroli accord. That is a bit unusual for a Floris scent, as this house is characteristically understated.
It's definitely gentlemanly and classy but not old-fashioned. Not like an out dated fragrance anyway. I think it's amazing, but it's very subtile and not one of those loud sceamers.
Floris recently launched Santal Intense, which is an edp. as of early 2024, it's still not available on the U.S. Floris London site, but I contacted customer care via the UK site, and they shipped it.

I bought this because of you. I LOVE it. I do not think you could have described it any better, you are spot on. Thank you!

Both are such great signature scents! I'm glad you like them, and I can see your taste! Personally those are top-notch for me too :)
Fabulous review. So evocative and celebratory of the fragrance.
Your review about this Santal is perfectly discribe!!! I own this one and I love it !!!
just ordered it along with No. 89 and the Rose Mouthwash. I had a sample of the santal, best sandalwood ive come across.

Great review. One of my favorite fragrances.

Floris are just total gems 💎 Santal, 89 , Elite are the best.
Still my favorite sandalwood. But, have you tried GF Trumper’s sandalwood? It’s quite nice. It is not what you expect considering how old it is.

I managed to buy 4 backup bottles of C&E Sienna before it was discontinued. So glad I did. Just love that scent.

Great review 👍🏾

Do you still wear this one? Looking at picking up a bottle.
if you can get your hands on Santal Intense, the edp version. highly highly recommend over the edt, which i still absolutely love.
Very nice review. Santal is up next as a Floris buy for me. I have no. 89, Elite (my favorite), Honey Oud, Neroli Voyage.
How do you like neroli voyage? I just got Santal and it was fantastic.

Spot on brother ❤️🥺
But we only have 100ml here in india. 100ml is overkill for collectors. 30 to 50ml is the perfect size.
Agree it’s overkill. It’s more of a psychological reassurance 😂 big bottle = tell yourself how good it is
@@UrbanDwellerNYC though as a fraghead, our collection will last longer than us😂
perfect review!!!
What is you favorite sandalwood scent for men? I'm looking for a great one.
This one and acqua di parma Sandalo!
@@UrbanDwellerNYC Many thanks!
Does Santal feel old-fashioned and classy as No.89 or Elite?

Right, right, right, right
Great frag
Wish it was edp, parfaum Extrait a little more deeper/complex
Solid for edt

@@world_meets_boy nice! Review ?
Had high hopes that this would be a reliable if not fantastic scent. Was sadly mistaken. It smells like dirty moss, no thanks.
