A superb variety of fragrances! I can attest to the suitability of No. 63, since I got quite a few compliments from those to whom I gave that fragrance as a gift. One of them even made it his signature. Very happy Heritage is on here too. Perhaps not one for the youngsters, but a highly recommended staple for the modern gentleman. Even more so than Vetiver edt, LIDGE or Homme edp, all of which offer fantastic value at current discounter prices.
The A'Lextreme is my favorite in the line, excellent choice!
Ah yes, Bentley for Men Intense. Another solid fragrance and superb value!
Bentley for men edt is also quite a good fragrance..
Which of the 2 would you recommend for a 'Designer-nose' or more of a safe buy?
@@ramram90 agreed. Intense gets a lot of hype but this one is also a good buy.
@@anessa8778 Bentley edt is more of a safer buy IMO.
The Bentley is pretty hard to wear. If you wanted leather I'd look into etat libre dorange for unique smelling leathers

I own, and enjoy, some of the fragrances which are mentioned in this video. For this kind of list I would include: Lalique Pour Homme EDP, Calvin Klein Euphoria Amber Gold for Men EDP, Mandarina Duck Black Extreme, Burberry Touch for Men, Givenchy Xeryus, and some Issey Miyake releases.
yeah did he mention ouzo smell? miyake orig is soo generic though it like aqua di gio etc but with that sweet slightly sour ouzo that makes it stand out a little... i dont know... lalique pour Homme is good... but there a lot of frags that smell similar....it is the best of that type maybe tyoe of manly a spicy aramis thing though i think.

Glad to see a variety of different options. Dunhill Fresh is an absolute green winner!! Inexpensive and massively projecting.
78 vintage green smells like earlgrey tea to me in the opening... unique scent. after dry down more fig leafy freshly cut green. i would not call it sexy but boy it makes me feel good. it is like those instinct, azzaro chrome, yada yada they all smell so similar that this does stand out and it does NOT SMELL SWEET. which is a good thing imho
Just received that Mauboussin off the back of your recommendation in the video you did the other week and I have to say I'm impressed. Very decent for the price - 20 pounds sterling (about 27 dollars US). A worthy tip.... keep them coming 👏

Thank you. Refreshing to see a fragrance reviewer suggest things that don’t cost $200-400 a bottle. I’ll give some of these a try.
That Lalique L'insoumis is a bargain.
I only found a Fougère I liked more after trying Beau De Jour, but the price gap there is huuuge. And after getting the Tom Ford I still kept L'insoumis for it's slightly sweeter, simpler everyday approach to the style.

I have a collection of 600+ fragrances (men's and women's) and I still do not own the Bentley Intense !!! I have the Bentley Absolute (all black bottle). I went ahead and ordered the Bently Intense as well.
Kenzo Jungle is on my want list...but I want to find the original formula (purple boxed).
Lalique L'insoumis.....is an under rated GEM !!!.....love it.
I love videos like this. Informative with great selections. I would love to try some of these as they are great value from what you make them sound like.

I'm saving to get those two Bentleys..... Smelled that absolute.........recently.... Had me totally in awe with its unique smell...... Can't put my finger on it..... But I can't stop pulling my hand to my nose to keep sniffing...... The pink pepper is very prominent for me...... And I love it..... The intense im also getting... Because that dry down is..... Mesmerizing..smell like a delicious vanilla cupcake.. 🧁.. Love it!...... Great videos as always..... Love from.. Over here in Namibia 🇳🇦🥂

I most admit I don't get the hype for Lalique Encre Estreem. Smelled very bland, at best to me, and to wear it I had to layer it to give it some life. My wife smelled it and said it smelled like "old man" and that was the last straw.

Mauboussin, Bentley and Encre Noir (the regular and Sport) all made it to my first 11 fragrances list. Not yet sure if I'd like fougeres, I don't care about Zara scents because of their poor longevity and the rest are simply not available here.
Sebastian, I'm eyeing Lalique White in Black and already have Lalique pour Homme (Lion), would L'Insoumis be redundant?
I haven't seen White In Black. Where is it being sold? Been waiting. Lion on the other hand is an Aromatic but does smell more classic than L'Insoumis. So you might think they are similar but to me same idea different results! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy For now it's only being sold at the Lalique website itself for $135. I'm waiting for it to reach discounters. I've reached out to their customer service and a sample is now on the way.
Didn't care for the Bentley Intense, smells too similar to other benzo-bombs like Hugo Boss Intense, Azzaro Wanted by Night, etc.
when I searched for Zara Vetiver Pamplemousse, there's a white bottle. Are they the same as the one in the video?
I don't know why that is but yes there are two colors. Go figure Zara to confuse us! LOL! ;)

Some of those cheapies smell just as good as the designers or niche. Nothing wrong with owning cheapies..
I got 27 different fragrances.
"Wow, you smell good! What cologne are you wearing?"
"Oh, this? It's just a fragrance called 'Une Historie d'Homme Irresistible' by a French jewelry maker called Mauboussin."
"Um, what?"
"Oh, I mean it's called Savauge by Dior."

I just got L’insoumis on the mail and I’m so disappointed. It smells like the citronella candles that arr use to keep mosquitoes away. Not good ;(
UPDATE: After 2 hours this perfume got way better, I can still pick up that cotronella in the background but it is very pleasant. I guess you have to wait for this perfume to show it’s true colors. The first two hours it smelled like an 80’s uncle cologne with citronela.
