    This was one of those genuine trips down memory lane to the 80's! I vividly remember the "I Want Your Sex" answer when I watched DD in 1988. And I almost forgot Marc Summers' guest hosting of Scrabble. Golden!

    Another really funny moment came from Scrabble. The contestant took two tiles and got P and P, then said "Chuck I'll take a P." The reaction from Chuck and the audience was priceless.

      I still like the scrabble one where an I was the first letter shown and then by odd coincidence it spelled out TIT.

    Years ago, on a studio tour of Universal Studios in Florida, I saw the Double Dare set.
    They haven't made an episode for a while, it was nice to see it.

      What’s remarkable is that he has OCD, although it was undiagnosed when he started hosting Double Dare. Not the easiest disorder to have when you host a show that describes itself as “Super Sloppy”.

    Tony Randall would once again say that particular word when he later appeared on "The $50,000 Pyramid" in 1981, except it was muted for broadcast. Nonetheless, it prompted Dick Clark to yell "Help!" in a funny sort of way.

    Another DD contestant (from the "Squawkers vs Two Stooges" episode, Paramount+ Ep. 105) said he liked 'Fast Women and Fast Cars', proving that Nickelodeon was the Wild, Wild West in the 80s. I guess that's what happens when you tape in and get all your kid contestants from Philadelphia.

    That was great! I'd never seen any of them before. My favorites: the gay guy fantasizing about Mr. ultra-right-wing-Christian Chuck Woolery and Tony Randall saying "shit"! LOL And Marc Summers having no clue as to why that kid guessed "I Want Your Sex". Geez, Marc--how old are you? 90? That was the first single off of "Faith", so that kid actually made a great guess considering he had absolutely no clue.

      I think that gay guy who was in the clip had originally posted it on RUclips. He actually did pretty well, being on the show for four days. The incident that Chuck made reference to about calling Terry's name is that in speedword just prior to this, he called Terry's name by accident instead of his opponent who buzzed in just before him on one particular word. Of course, Terry eventually won that game.

      There is a tile for each letter so there was a tile with another R in there. 1 letter per tile.
