- Boosted with Boss SD1. By itself it sounds quite fuzzy and loose, which some can find fine for doom kinda stuff.
Guitar:
Gibson Les Paul Studio ‘95, hot PAF bridge humbucker
The pedal can be plugged either in input or in fx return of an amp. I like how it sounds in the fx return acting like a preamp.
Amps:
Marshall Studio Vintage 20
Mesa Boogie 50 Caliber plus
Cab: Marshall 1960, 2x Marshall vintage 30 (bottom), 2x Celestion G12H30 anniversary (top)
Your video has inspired me to seek out better demos. Didn't even know this pedal existed. Thanks!
This made me think of obituary cause of death and I dig it.
@@raginglunatik8979 yep, had the same thoughts ;)
I like the tone. Sounds kinds hm2 on my iPad. No head phones on.

@@srh361 thank you! This was sorta the goal of my search - to get a hm2 flavor;)
Очень жирный звук! В стиле ранних Carcass и Entombed🤘🤘
Олдовый жыр
Жииир!!
Я б ещё с фуззом попробовал, для стонер дума или дрона
Рычит!
Sounds absolutely nothing like mesa mk
@@juhalehtonen9000 I’m looking for a dist pedal that could sound close to my 50 Caliber+ dialed in the way I like (not too tight and modern, but high gain), I read this one could handle it since it’s been designed based on old mesa boogies before Recto era. And it satisfied my needs pretty much.
Maybe you could advise any pedals according to my request?
@@RomanRotten dont know about pedals but maybe synergy module would be close. I personally use my mesa studio pre
@@juhalehtonen9000 Apparently the studio preamp is great, but its weight and size is almost the same as an amp and isn’t pedalboard friendly at all ;)
@@RomanRotten for my experience it does not need pedals, other than delay
