- After getting stuck with the bike and finding no compression on Cylinder 3, I was forced to take out the engine and take a look inside.
It's a really sad moment when you take a risk, put in the time and effort and then this happens....
I wanted to crawl into bed and cry after i saw this 😭😭😭 Авто/Мото
Some life advice….. Never ever give up !!!! Good luck from NZ
@pappasshed3130 thanks man. 😊
Good video bro. Should out from the uk 🇬🇧 🎉
@@SAVING_ICONIC_MACHINES thanks 😊
hey, just wanna say that's very unfortunate about the engine, you've done all you can and wonderful job for that matter.
that's a shame about the engine, as a fellow enthusiast about motorcycle, i would strongly recommend just get a second hand engine, it would save so much headache (i mean obviously make sure it's a good one).
i know the phrase hindsight 20/20, but in case you were gonna get some other bikes, if you can't get into the spark plug hole for mounting pressure gauge when you check the bike out, try taking a cheap oscilloscope, connect to the battery and do a relative compression test, waveform will show you if the engine health regarding compression relative to each other (while it won't tell you the exact number), you would have an immediate information about whether to buy the bike.
cheers, friend from taiwan, subscribed and followed.

Thanks for the feedback. If you watch part 1 of this series you'll see that the bike belonged to my neighbour, he bought it in Dec and rode it for a few months until the starter clutch broke and he couldn't afford to fix it. Then I bought it from him, it was still a good riding bike at that point but I think the previous owner knew there was a problem before selling it to my neighbour
Been waiting for s vid for a while
@marupenisimon4570 haha thanks for your patients... I'm hoping to get the follow up video out soon, just waiting for a plan of action from the mechanical
Shucks bro. From your reaction this is clearly an expensive problem😢
Hoping it goes well 🤞🏾🤞🏾
Yes it's not a easy fix, nor is it cheap. 😢
@@clayton130 😥😥
eish bru.
Sux , will have to hear what the mechanic says if we can get her back on the road
Shit I would be crying right now.
@@husky-xu2ow while I was fault finding all the experts kept telling me it might be a cracked cylinder. I was hoping they were wrong...
love your channel.looking for a good mechanic. do you have a location or how would I be able to contact you
@marcfitrcanthony6419 thanks man, appreciate it. A good mechanic is always difficult to find , it depends on which area you are in, the type of bike that you have and your maintenance budget. I can help you find someone if you in Cape Town.
Whats the repair plan for this clayton??
@SpeedstarM busy chatting to the mechanic to see what we can do.
That's the gamble of buying a used bike hey. Wish we had part availability like other countries.
PS: Your wife is probs kak angry hahaha
@Andreas.619 she's cool, as long as we can go riding she's happy... parts are not that big of a problem as I have a donor bike. I should probably add that to the next video
That is a kak one. I hope you find the parts
@reinhardtburnett5074 thanks man... Will see what I can get.
