  • Top 10 Cities Californians are Moving to in the United States.
    Californians have been moving out of California at an accelerated rate for close to a decade now. Every year the Census people come out with data on where they are going. They do this for every state, not just California.
    This list shows what states and what cities in those states they are relocating to. And just to let you know. Oregon and Nevada aren't #1 or #2
    California in 2020 is not a good place to live.

      Remember when Angelinos and New Yorkers were talking about this thing called GENTRIFICATION... Yeah, its coming to a town near you. Your small town with cheap rents and tax rates will now be developed and becme a thriving city for hip 20 year old hipsters, Millenial yuppie families, with luxury apartments and trendy bars.
      This is the REAL ESTATE industry, they are using CRA(Community development) loans for their speculation. Remember those Subprime mortage loans in 08, well this is similar but now it's in the inner cities and small towns.
      Real Estate Investors only purchase the land as an investment , they build all these trendy new building and jump up the price , and virtually nobody will be living in these buildings but the land value of the city will skyrocket and cause majority of neighboring business to move out. Once their value is huge they sell and whoever buys outdues the development and sells to an international investor.
      The subprime mortage was almost the same thing, cheap loans were given out , and the traders were profiting by buying out these loans and reselling them. These development companies are doing the same thing. The consequence comes once defaults and the realization comes to light that a scheme is in place.
      The real estate industry wants you to think that it's CAlifornians jumping up the price, but its actually them and CA and NY's are the first wave... Texas is about to get hit since hteir real estate values are going up, but once a dem gets elected(like BETO) , its game over and the Corporations will have to pay up or leave elsewhere , and once companies go full outsource to Mexico(the new Trump deal) , cities like Dallas will turn into Detroit. If Biden wins, we can see this process accelerate, but even if a RED wins, it's only delaying.
      During the 08 recession many CA's flocked to Texas, if a new recession hits in 2021, we may begin to Texans flood Oklahoma. Wash rinse repeat.

It's one party rule and the Mayor of Los Angeles and Governor Newsom doesn't want the state to recover from the pandemic. It's their way of protesting the President. That and recent surveys show the California populace supports a long lasting economic and lifestyle shutdown. Probably to 2022. Exactly right! I live in Colorado and Californians (and/or other residents in states that have exorbitant living costs and economies) doing this literally changes the situation in real estate, overall life in many ways, and cost of living in any place they do this.... it drives the costs up, as sellers begin to cater to the higher bidders, but the incomes and salaries/jobs stay the same for the residents in that state. So, it causes such a high market (rentals do the same) that a states’ own people can no longer afford to live in it. It’s epidemic anywhere influxes of Californians (and similar states) flood in to. There is also a trend happening now where Californians are not leaving the state, but rather, are buying up properties in various states and renting them out in incredibly high rent prices - that far exceed incomes of the local residents of any area, and this is causing a major problem as well. I realize the video doesn’t want people to mention this or complain, but it’s simply the truth.

      @@CarbageMan left wing politics are the best but they need to get it in their heads that they wont attract people with high property/income taxes... that's where texas politics shine is that everyone in texas will agree that the low taxes is great.

      @CarbageMan 4 года назад +2

      @@LaurenSchraderMusic You seem to be confusing left-wing with libertarian. What happens is that the left-wing moves in and brings big government and high taxes with them, being totally unaware that what made those places great was less government and low taxes...and don't get me wrong, I'm also not in favor of right-wing fascism. Colorado was delightfully libertarian in the 90's, but the left decided they needed to "fix" it.

    • @LaurenSchraderMusic
      @LaurenSchraderMusic 4 года назад +1

      @@CarbageMan you're totally right, that was my mistake. I am definitely a libertarian but there are some things that I agree with that are leftist ideals such as universal health care -- due to the fact that I am disabled and would be fucked if I didn't have healthcare. Right now I am still on my dad's but here in a few years I am basically going to have to marry my gf to get insurance. I don't really have faith that sleepy Joe will win the election (you can NEVER trust the polls, especially after 2016). Also, before you consider leaving Colorado, if you enjoy the weather there then do NOT move to Texas. Austin has really expensive pricing compared to Dallas but Dallas summers (which last about 5-6 months) will make you feel like you are melting and there are plenty of people that can't be outside for long before they start suffering from heat stroke. I would love to move to Colorado for the weather but at the same time I'm not sure if $1800 for a one-bed in a decent area is worth it compared to the $800 we are spending in North Dallas (south of Richardson) lol

    • @CarbageMan
      @CarbageMan 4 года назад

      @@LaurenSchraderMusic We'll have to disagree on the definition of libertarianism. I'd say it includes radically free markets, from the perspective of the left and the right both. I agree with the left when it comes to real rights, but not when it comes to so-called "positive" rights. A perfect example is your right to contract, which includes marrying whomever you want, and for that matter, as many people as you want. I don't believe that's the state's business, but neither is my income.
      Weather here is definitely better than LA, and, yeah, Texas. Colorado has gotten expensive, but that's the cost of the big government they brought. One of the features of Colorado, though, is that you can move out of the big-government neighborhoods (for the time being) and get good value. Sadly, SW Denver is no longer far enough away, and neither is the springs. Ft Collins is still okay, from what I hear.

    A few years ago a buddy and I rode our Harley-Davidsons from South Florida to California and back over a two week period. We stopped at the Toad Suck Harley-Davidson dealer. We wanted to buy a t-shirt with the name Toad Suck on it. It was around 7:00 in the morning. There was one guy there unlocking a door, he asked us what we want. A t-shirt I replied. He took us in and let us pick out our t-shirts, we paid and learned he was the owner. Nice guy.

    Austin didn’t make the list, but San Antonio did. The latter is much more affordable because it’s much poorer, less sophisticated, much less nightlife, and the military makes up much of the economy.
    Many of Austin’s native middle-aged residents have flocked to Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Leander in the more conservative and family friendly Williamson Co. A $350,000 middle-class tract home will get you a run-down old home near downtown Austin.
