Lifelong Texan (68 years) and went to New Hampshire for the first time last year. Just fell in love with that state. Loved everything about it. White Mountains just blew me away. People just awesome!
Just left there from a visit with family. Lived there also as a kid. Visit again November until April then tell me what you think. That's half of your life every year by the way. Also, native Texan just a bit younger than you. Vermont is about the same, Green Mountains and all. I find the people about the same as Texas.
I would love New Hampshire or Vermont if they didn't lean so far left politically. I guess it's easy for a population of White liberals who are insulated from reality to have sanctimonious ideas about social issues.
@@michaelphillips2079it’s mostly southern New Hampshire that leans left. Northern is more libertarian or conservative.
@@michaelphillips2079The people are what makes a place great.
You've been brainwashed by right-wing-nut media.
There's so much you don't understand.
@@michaelphillips2079 Yup, you should definitely stay where you're comfortable.
I like how you end every video by telling everyone to be nice to each other. It’s so simple yet so hard for so many of us to actually do 😅.
Reporting you for being a jerk
Being nice to each other sounds great and in theory we'd all be nice. But the reality is we live in a world of scarcity. That scarcity breeds competition for limited resources. See: every conflict in the middle east for oil resources, or even your 17 fellow office mates all competing for that 1 promotion at work. Or the 20 couples all trying to buy that one house.
Point is there are plenty of reasons to not be nice to each other if you want to get what you want in life.
So let's not make these idealistic blanket statements of "Let's everyone just be nice to each other." I'm sorry, but Mother Nature doesn't work that way, and people stop being nice real quick when they discover someone else has something that they also want.

I was born and raised in Utah but I had an incident happened to me a couple weeks ago while I was visiting@@jeffspicoli5399
I’m still upset and saddened and just had to share this !
I was born in this state and raised in this Area from , to Ogden, to Hurricane in my youth. I always felt the people in Utah were kind and considerate, but I found out the opposite! I am visiting here from Oklahoma and I’m so used to the kind of nature of their ways!
I had an experience today that blew my mind! since I haven’t lived in Utah for many years I felt they were the same people as when I was a kid, but not so! We had an experience in Centerville today that I could not believe. I have never ate in an In-N-Out Burger so we decided to pull in the drive-through as you go in the parking lot it looks like there’s two lanes there’s two arrows so we took the empty lane, but when we got to the curve we noticed we had made a mistake.we though people would be kind enough to let us through! like I would have done! that Is the Southren way , but to my amazement they we’re mouthy rude and some were pure mean and nasty !
What has become to my beloved Utah! the people I loved .

I just moved to Nebraska (from Utah, too many people flooding into the sate). You are spot on about it! If you're looking for a quiet life, this is the place to be.
Nebraska sucks.
I have spent lots of time there.
@@jstravelers4094 it's matter of personal preference. You don't like it, I do. I'm not mad that you think it sucks. Keeps the population down. :)
We have been thinking of moving to the Omaha area from NJ. It would be a big move for us but I like that Omaha seems to have a lot going for it yet there seems to be a lot of wide open spaces which NJ does not have!
@@sandyguthrie342 Kansas is even more wide open and flat.
You can watch your dog run away for hours.
I used to make fun of New Jersey before I spent much time there.
The state actually is interesting.
@@jstravelers4094 I am not far from the beach in central NJ. For people who have never been, they picture NJ like right outside Newark where the airport is. NJ is actually very diverse in land. There are beaches, ski areas, farmland and lots and lots of parks. I love it but the taxes and high cost of living are making us think relocate.
It really depends on what stage of life you are on, that will determine which state would be best for you.
If you are a recent college graduate, you want a high paying job, to help pay off those college loans. When you are young, you can easily put up with a lot.
If you are middle age, you want a place where you can enjoy your personal time. You want good schools and a safe environment for your kids.
When you are old, you want the cheapest cost of living. And good healthcare.
When I was in my twenties, I wanted to live in Nevada (Las Vegas) so I could party and work.
Now that I am middle aged, I live in a state (Virginia) that has great outdoor activities.
Someday, when I am old, I will live elsewhere.
Precisely. I’m in my late 20s and I’m stuck in between Florida; partying and starting my business and Texas; Planning ahead for my family.
@@kingquan3826Can’t go wrong with either state, but Texas offers a lower cost of living and somewhat higher pay.
@@ARUclipsChannelwithNoName imo Texas is where I need to be. I have family and friends there. Amazing people. I don’t understand how it didn’t make this list to be honest
Spot on! As a retiree with residual income I couldn't care less about jobs and schools but I do care about healthcare, cost of living, and crime rates.
@@kingquan3826 Just understand the cost of housing has gotten a lot higher because of the huge influx and Texas doesn't have an income tax but they punish homeowners with the 6th or 7th highest property tax rates in the country.

I love Wisconsin! My grandparents own 50 acres of lakefront property in St Germain , which is a small town in the North Woods. We would travel up there to spend summers and winters at my grandparents property where we’ve done waterskiing, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, snow skiing, or just riding around in the pontoon boat. The North Woods is a great place to enjoy natural beauty and look at trees, and I think my love for trees comes from spending time there. I have many great childhood memories from Wisconsin. Hello Briggs, my name is Ivan I’m 21 years old, born and raised in Miami. I’ve been watching your videos for about two years now. A month or two before I turned 21 I packed my bags, my car and dog, and moved to Utah in March of 2023, because I saw a video that you posted similar to this one declaring Utah is a great place to move to. After seeing it firsthand, I have to say you are absolutely correct.
My name is Ivan too! Never met another one. And I too have a 69 fastback Mustang.

And I had to go through ghetto birmingham twice. Trees falling down constantly.
I grew up in Wisconsin and it will always have a special place in my heart. The population is spread out across the state, so you have all kinds of towns and cities to choose from. If you want to live in a rural area, but need access to good healthcare and education, Wisconsin is a good choice.
Agree
Lotta nutjobs in Madison?
I grew up in Wisconsin as well. It just isn't what it used to be. It's gone downhill since when I grew up there.
ENTIRE MIDWEST sucks boring flat
As a transplant to WI for work I found it to be not welcoming to folks not from there, as did my neighbor who was from another area. If you didn't grow up there, like most of the commentors say they did, it wasn't very open. I've lived in 4 states and WI was the least open to non-native folks. People were surface nice. Also the weather, way too cold for too long. MKE is considered one of the most segeregated cities, not a good situation. Property taxes are considerable as well compared to other places although the housing cost otherwise was reasonable.
I lived in Colorado - Denver, Loveland and Fort Collins for years and the traffic was #1 of the reasons we left!!
Now the political leadership in Colorado is causing people to leave.

I am from Omaha, Nebraska. This is a great state to live. I have friends who moved here from New York and California who love it here. Cost of living is affordable and employment is good.
He talks about the high ranking for infrastructure; I'd wager that most of that is thanks to replacing the MANY bridges that were destroyed by the flooding in March 2019. My family still lives in Fremont, where I grew up, & Fremont LITERALLY became an ISLAND during the floods!
I am thinking of moving to the Omaha area from NJ. We have sons in their 20's who would move with us and I think Omaha would have opportunities for them. I'm surprised the property taxes are as high as they are (but nothing compared to NJ) I'm glad you like it there.

employment will always be subjective. White collar workers in a place with a good blue collar industry will say there is no jobs and vice versa

Been binge watching this channel because I'm thinking of moving out of CO, too expensive and crowded. If you're thinking about moving to CO, please keep this in mind, and I don't recommend going downtown by yourself or at night.
I traveled all the time for years, planes, trains and automobiles lol. Many years ago I took the train from Washington DC to my home in Montana, Denver was one of the stops, it was great. Fast forward, I thought the bus would be fun like the train... I was so wrong. This was roughly two years ago, all the outlets and bathrooms were shut down in the station because of junkies, there was human waste in the elevators you had to use to walk downtown to use the bathroom, the stairs were blocked off because the junkies/homeless would camp there. Cops all over the place while people were openly smoking crack.. it was super fun. Never again.
Born and raised in CO and I’m leaving. It takes over an hour to get anywhere worthwhile and the reason we live here (or at least me) the mountains are being absolutely destroyed ever since Covid. Trash everywhere and people trekking around the trails ruining the plant life. Don’t even get me started on the people who don’t know how to leave wildlife alone and antagonize moose (hopefully Darwin steps in on that one soon). I’m single and am in house purchase #2. I got very lucky and am grateful but it’s still way too much and I’d rather have land somewhere I can actually enjoy being outdoors again. Good luck to you out there!
Check out Texas…there are several wonderful cities…..but there are some scary ones too. Avoid the border areas. The immigrants who are able to creep up to north Texas are very much welcomed. Ranchers need them to run the ranches. Anyhow, the Texas heat is something to watch out for, especially if you work outside.
Completely safe to walk around at night in our neighborhood and downtown area. Crime rate is below 1/2 the national average. Best of everything, including healthcare and educational system, many high paying jobs, great weather/climate so real estate is astronomical. Upscale area of SCal.

Florida is in the middle of a insurance crisis. Many people leaving because they can't afford to insure their house. Biggest costs are in coastal towns but it is affecting those even in the middle of the State. Auto insurance is also up something like 40 percent in 3 years. It's not so sunny in Florida these days.
There’s WAYYYYYYYYYYY more people moving into Florida than leaving though. And it’s not even close
The problems just rise.
I just moved to Florida from Southern California (relax, I'm a Utahan). The difference in car insurance was very surprising. Almost double what it was in California, and that state has a ton of horrible drivers.
@@domin8ssFlorida has the most lawsuits in the country, transplant driving cultures clash with natives, and a large amount of uninsured drivers. Add in hurricanes and it’s why our auto insurance is insane and won’t be getting better anytime soon.
@CruxisDango the only applicable part to your point is hurricanes. Everywhere has transplants, especially where military bases exist. Could it be that insurance companies have decided to stop writing new policies and are vacating the state when it comes to doing business? As availability of supply decreases the price increases.
I moved to Washington State from Hawaii 15 years ago and I'm never moving again! I absolutely love it here! Of course I don't live in Seattle, too expensive and crowded 😆 but this is the state for nature lovers.

@@Phoolan_Devil Any town! Anywhere you live in western Washington you're a few minutes from a state park, trails, or lakes. Not surprisingly Utah is #1. I grew up there. Will move back from Oregon when I retire. Love the constant sun. It clears up after every storm. Change of seasons are nice. Activities are well rounded. Oregon has lost a lot of the fun things to do since the pandemic and because of the homelessness!

Greater Portland area is the same as the infamous hike in housing for renters and buyers a like has made cost of living too high and homeless spilling in to the streets. It's never capped or addressed as being directly connected by mainstream media. It's an unjustified hike that has bubbled and is popping but it's just sad because it was caused by a trend that started in SoCal jacking up prices in the hood in mid nineties to get ghettos back but when ppl saw it was feasible it swept up the West Coast over the years and created this unjustifiable tripling and even quadrupling of rent and home prices that has really devastated the ppl and still has a job market that can't back it except for a few. In Portland we saw everybody moving back in with their parents about five or so years ago and ppl teaming up to afford what was just yesterday a basic apartment!
Hi, Briggs. Where do you get your data? Thanks and we love your videos.
Great video. I grew up in and currently live in Massachusetts. Just a reminder, there's a whole lot of Massachusetts that's not Boston or the coast. If you want natural beauty, take a day to drive the Mohawk Trail from Greenfield west; or explore the small towns in the Berkshires (Stockbridge and Lenox are two of my favorites; I love driving through Florida too). The towns that house the 5 Colleges are all worth visiting, even if they're a bit quirky. Western Mass has fall foliage, country stores, small art galleries, apple orchards, and more! In Worcester County, the Blackstone Valley and Purgatory Chasm are beautiful for hiking.
anything east of 495 ruins the whole state, wish we could become part of new hampshire
I was just in Stockbridge the other day visiting the Norman Rockwell museum. I live about an hour away in the Hudson Valley, NY.
Agree stay out of eastern ma if you like the quiet lifestyle. Life long resident but even here in central ma it is getting way too crowded and traffic out of control and civility is going down. Would love to move to NH what MA used to be. Our cost of living is ridiculous if you told me houses in Templeton Ma would ever see 500K plus I would have thought you were nuts now try buying a decent one for under that.
It didn’t make the list, but Virginia is a fantastic state! We’ve got beaches on the East side. Northern VA has the best school counties in the country and close to the capital. But my favorite part is the West side with the blue ridge mountains ❤. We’ve got Shenandoah National Park 💙
Too much military.
I grew up in Miami but left for NC in 1969. I've lived in NC and never regretted it. I loved Florida in the 50s and early 60s. You could go boating and not see a million other boats. The keys were quaint and seafood restaurants were affordable. The the population began to explode. Traffic became insufferable. Hunting in the Everglades became hazardous due to the number of hunters. NC offered my wife and I a variety of outdoor activities. Mountains, beaches, all within driving distance. Cost of living was low as were taxes. I love calling NC home.
This list is great, when you don't factor in cost of housing. Utah and Idaho have become unaffordable. Its fine if you are 25 and single, but families cant find affordable housing.
As a Texan I’m both offended and thanking God that we didn’t make this list.

Right, I’m in TN and from WA. I don’t want anymore people moving here lol. I love TN… WA is beautiful yet depressing. The south is just more fun, a lot more culture and things to do. Lots of nature in WA but the season of nice weather is short lived. I get sick of the cold wet weather as someone who loves to garden.
I am more thankful than offended 😂😂😂😂 PLEASE… go to one of the recommended on the list. We want it keep Texas Texas.
If you live in Texas and you're not rich, you'll be paying some of the highest income taxes (11% plus) you are rich you'll be paying some of the lowest (3%). There's a reason California's middle class gain so much wealth, they pay the second lowest overall taxes only behind Alaska.

Maine is getting the same way and it was never like that.. high property tax, high rent, seasonal jobs, pushing the locals out… It’s a tax vortex..
Moved to Washington after living in 6 countries and a dozen US states.... Best decision ever. Washington is amazing!
Greetings from Seattle.
Agree, and I like Spokane better than Seattle
Also a Washingtonian - moved up (in more than one way!) from Oregon. Enjoying our retirement here in a rural area near the coast. Couldn't be happier.
What about the weather ?
@@engyalgarf1221 absolutely love the weather! The winters are relatively mild. The rain everyone (who doesn't live here) talks about is usually a light and gentle rain; I never even bother with an umbrella. And the summers are glorious; world class
I was born and raised in Vermont. I can confirm it's a really good place to live.. If you don't mind the snow but I think it's worth it. Great economy and agriculture. I plan on moving back after i finish trade school.
I've lived in the Northeast my whole life, and just moved to Tennessee. I knew it would not be on your list, but love it here! Everything is a matter of taste, and do appreciate your videos.
I also spent most of my life in the northeast, moved to Tennessee several years ago, never regretted it, but do miss the seafood.
What part u move too?
I'm surprised Tennessee isn't on the list.
@@MichaelMeade-d7b Tennessee is one of the most violent states in the country. I bet it doesn't perform well on a bunch of other measures, as well.
Tennessee is nice but they have a ton of churches.
We moved from Massachusetts, it’s very expensive. Politics are horrible. Very high taxes high cost of living
That really sucks
I'm from Massachusetts and agree that I don't like the political agenda and it's very expensive but otherwise it's actually great state. Curious to know where you moved to and how did it work out ?
Washington is the same way.
😂 California
@missymutt3046 I agree horrible place to live can’t wait to leave people here are abhorrent terrible community and the politics omg disgusting freaks not to mention it’s beyond expensive
Exploring the best states is essential, but it would also be helpful to delve into the best cities within these states for diverse living options.
South side chicago number 1🎉
Back in the late Eighties, Time magazine reporter J.D. Reed wrote that “[be it] the beefiest burger or the biggest corporation, Americans have a penchant for making lists of the best and the worst, then arguing about the results. [And], no rankings have inspired more disagreement than those about home sweet home.” I can agree with most of these, but I can guess what factors got too little weight: housing costs, hurricanes, pet-eating reptiles-and lotsa bugs all year long.
I lived in Florida for 50 years. Happiness is not. What excess humidity brings. I live in Colorado now always happy.
Great info and I enjoy all your videos, but I wish you had included ' cost of living' info for each state.
The cheapest state is new york
The best place is any low population town and the weather you most like. I like cool weather regions.
Chicago
As a Utahn, I'm like Yes....and then, oh crap...more people moving here haha. It's the catch 22. Loved growing up here, and living here. I love the outdoors and the people are pretty great. We get a bad wrap in some ways...but many of the reasons Utah is successful is because of the things that some people don't like. I say come join us, just don't bring the reason why you left somewhere else with you😁
Oh Nah! Uh!~ Don't be coming here to Woke my Utah now! I was born at the Red Rock. Love the Red Rock! And will Die at the Red Rock here in Southern Utah! Mwahahahahaha!
I live in Utah too. Be prepared because Californians moving to Colorado already messed that place up. We are not far behind. Be afraid, be very afraid. About 20% of the people from California are okay though. But the rest are kooks and flakes. I've met a ton of people from that state in my 65 years and I may never quite recover totally.
Best kept secret, especially N.Ogden Utah, and surrounding area, beautiful scenery, got everything lakes. streams mountains, but still not so crowded like Denver, and other mountain cities.
Grew up in WA, now I work remotely and only have to go WA twice a year. There's upsides and downsides. For anyone who's not from there, it's amazing. The natural beauty is undeniable (same with OR). The education system, from which I benefited from, is top tier. That's about where it stops for me. WA isn't perfect and it's not for everyone. If you are thinking of moving there (speaking to the majority of this channel's demo) I would rent for a year or 2 first before buying, if your situation allows it. After the honeymoon phase of calling a new place home, you will have a better idea of the way of life there and the day to day.
My son and his wife are ultra-liberal, but even they could not take the homeless RV encampments and discarded needles in their otherwise beautiful Seattle neighborhood... they grabbed the kids and bought a farm in IL. I also loved Seattle and WA state but as a Libertarian I am very turned off by imbalanced politics
I watched that documentary about Seattle dying.
Cost of living in WA is crazy....at least around Seattle.
Exactly!!
I’m from Seattle and looking to leave now! I’ll be heading toward more sun….im over all the rain
Don’t forget the Columbia River Basin in Washington State. I went through there not long ago and it is one of the most breathtaking places in the country. I absolutely love Utah and I am considering moving there when I retire. I-15 . St George has captured my heart.
St. George? We spent a few days there a few years ago while attending a wedding, in a word, boring. Zero vibes and sterile. Even the newly wedded couple moved out of there.
I live in the scablands of eastern Wa and I couldn't agree more!
Briggs, I wish you would have shown more of the beauty in NH. There are the gorgeous white mountains, beautiful lakes and rivers, incredible fall colors and the ocean!
Shhhhhh!! Omaha is the best kept secret in the country! The far NE portion of the state bordering the Missouri River is GORGEOUS in the Fall.
Fellow Nebraskan agrees with this statement. I left here when I was 20. Moved back at 30. The grass wasn’t greener. Do not think I will ever move out of state again
Yeah the country has some great secret areas my top 3 are Omaha, Huntsville and the Gold Rush towns east of Sacramento like Sutter Creek.
No, Florida is raining 50% of the time and the other 50% of the time is no rain. People are "laid back" depending where you are. Ft. Lauderdale and Miami are assholes through and through and it's humid as ****. Plus, everything is expensive and the teachers leaving is good because most of them suck.
Interesting! Quality of life matters, and knowing the top states is helpful. Thanks for the insights into ideal living destinations in the US!
We moved to North Carolina three years ago and it has been fantastic. It’s the best as far as I’m concerned.
North Carolina the worst State for workers. No rights at all for workers as a law. Hearing all that on the other video was painful and brings back memories. No rights to eat, pee or take a break at work, no right for parental time off, sick time, no right for a vacation, bad unemployment compensation, and the State actually prevents local governments from increasing their minimum wage. All they said is true. I did a research paper on it. Their labor site states, "The employer has the right to treat its employees as they deem fit." I wrote in the paper animals have more rights than NC workers do. As they deem fit?! The ASPCA would be all over that if they said that about animals.
Been a North Carolinian all my life, and I have no plans to move.
@@donnazukadley7300I guess it depends on where you work. Any job I ever had in NC, none of your complaints applied. We had 2 15 minute breaks and lunch, and they insist you take those breaks. So I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
Don't tell that, please. No more Yankees needed or wanted.
Please lock the gate!
Thank you ever so much, Briggs, for another excellent post! We love your channel.
Super useful for retirement planning! The list of 15 countries for 2024 is perfect. Thanks for the great advice!
As a native Washingtonian, I am pleased our state is ranked high on this list. However, would you please update future videos of downtown Seattle to show that the waterfront has been renewed and that the infamous Alaskan Way Viaduct has been totally removed. Thank you.
Seattle is a sh!thole.
Abd the homelessness situation in Seattle seems to have dramatically changed over the past couple years
Your drug snd crime infested streets have ruined what Seattle once was. Seattle is dying!!! It is ugly, with homeless everywhere, unsafe streets and a liberally based future that guarantees failure. Sactuary state status...
You voters destroyed a beautiful American city
@ManicMercurianAstrology : It has, Seattle is a crime infested sewer now .
It's a real shame , it was a beautiful city not long ago .
Lol take a walk through Seattle or Spokane at night and you might reconsider. Homeless, trash infested and crime. No thanks.
Moved to Florida. Hated it. Moved to Wisconsin. Love it.
I moved to Florida from Seattle and I LOVE Florida.
im with ya there...moved here 4 years ago tp pensacola area, and hate it...hot hot humid humid and bugs....ughhh
@@GratefulDeb270 why do you love wi?
3 things you will always get in Florida. Humidity, heat and bugs. If any of these are even a slight problem then look elsewhere.
I think I’m gonna travel in a van and have a mattress in the back😂
Florida is hard or even impossible to get home owners insurance. Lots of insurance vompanies have quit florida! Not a good sign!
Love your vids, Briggs!!
I appreciate that!
Hey, great vid! Loved the insights on the best states to live in. Really helpful for anyone thinking about moving. Thanks!
I love Washington, Utah and Oregon. Absolutely gorgeous. Seattle is a must visit. People are very very cold though.
Yeah the "Seattle Freeze" to newbies is real. Way too many unspoken rules and expectations in the dating scene.
I live near Minneapolis and the long-time residents have the same kind of attitude as the people in Seattle. We call it "civil frigidity".
@@tedlarson6216Most of the PNW freezes out anyone not from here. It is weird and small minded.

@@Spacebuddy-dm6ps You're absolutely right. 👍
Much love to everyone and their families from Cedar City Utah USA 👍🙏🏻💪🏻🤠
Briggs, again a well-researched unbiased state assessment. Keep them coming.
I wasn't even thinking about Vermont but damn! You sold it to me!
Oh it’s one of the best kept secrets of New England.
Basically everyone in New England knows about it. But no one else seems to. Which is Why it’s in such pristine condition
Granted New Hampshire is pretty damn good too.
I live in the Spokane area, and yes, we do get quite a lot of snow. 44 inches per year, way more in the mountains. Only 14 inches of rain, though, so much sunnier than the West side. I do like Washington. I was raised on a wheat farm south of here, and lest you think I'm a yahoo, I lived in San Francisco for 20 years (loved it there, not so much now, though) Keep the vids coming. Love them!
Im retired in my home state, Utah. I find it just fine! I invested in some minor real estate early on, so now have three houses, two completely paid off. My Social Security suffices along with the rental income.
GREETINGS FROM THE PPRC GREAT VIDEO AS USUAL. I think it’s going to be Idaho for us or maybe Utah.🇺🇸🍺🍺
Idafornia.
I am about to move from Austin, TX to Bellingham, WA. I love the small town feel of Bellingham. I am too old to appreciate all of the activities in Austin, although I think I will miss bicycling year round
You can bike all year in Bellingham. Actually more so than in Austin since it seldom gets too hot to be outside.
You'd be surprised how stable temperatures are in Western WA. Winters are pretty mild and you can bike no problem by just adding a jacket, rain covering, and some gloves. Freak storms like the ice storm last year are extremely rare and usually last less than a week before it's back to normal.
Sounds like a perfect fit😊
Thank you for this video. 🎉
I am from asia, i’ve never been to america😂 really like this channel which talk a lot about places in US. Interesting until i know many states and the layouts 😂 good job!!
Moving back to California next year and I can't wait!! Hate on it all you want, don't care. Sacramento is cheaper than the Portland burbs where I currently live.
Ha you poor soul. You must be tied to the west coast. I lived on the west coast all my life (SoCal, Portland, Seattle, BC), but moved because it is insane there. I won't harp on you too much, but what were you thinking moving to Portland? (unless it was in the 1990s Portlandia:)
Welcome back! I've been to 29 states and with the exception of Minnesota, no other place compare to home. Trash it all you want, that just proves you've never been here. I'll never move.
We need a new Republican Governor for California then it might be nice again.
Good move! Somebody will have to support all those illegals, and pay for the crazy stuff instigated by Newsom, Pelosi, and company.
Good decision
Great. Video’s… Live in Florida New Port Richey. Small beautiful down town area. And weather usually beautiful with waking up to beautiful sunshine everyday. Summers hot but winter is great..
Would appreciate it if you would add traffic in each state in the next version. By recent direct experience, traffic and drivers in Boston are very challenging.
Nothing has changed in forever as far as that's concerned .....rented a car there in the 80s ...driving around a roundabout outside Boston had a van walk down the side of the rental because he , like everybody else there , decided to do three lane changes at the last second , and he fled ...went to the rental counter next day , told the story the clerk came out to do a " damage report " and said " aw ...don't worry about that , happens all the time .." More stories about trying to get through the Tunnel , parking etc .....
I live in Washington and it’s honestly amazing. I can’t think of a place with more natural beauty, or a place where someone can make a boatload of money as easy.
Alaska is better 😂 we don’t have fentanyl zombies up here
I live in SF and I'm very tired of seeing men's underwear all day. When I move, I'll go somewhere that's cheaper and has no sagging.
Not yet
No way.
Spokane is better than Seattle
Have lived in Oregon, Illinois, California and Wisconsin. I’ll take Wisconsin any day. Best state ever!
Have a low income? OK. A love for being obese? Beer, SAUSAGE and cheese?
Be careful. Wisconsin is #1 in falling and breaking your bones.
I love your program!!
As a teacher, I can't understand how FL ranks number 1 in education. According to publications from the National Education Association and other publications that examine education, FL is ranked rather low.
I'm in Utah and can't figure out how we're ranked #5
It’s from US News & World Report. Not worth any more than a Yelp rating.
I still believe Massachusetts and New Jersey take the top spots in Education.
Because they actually spend the money on students, not let the districts and teachers waste all the money on stupid non educational crap.
That’s great, Notth Dakota can spend their money on anything else@@zekeonstormpeak4186
I've lived in New Hampshire for a year and it is absolutely amazing! I've loved every second of it!
My brother lives in WA state and what's ruined it is that the state now passed a bill that if a kid wants to be transgender and the parents say they can't, the state can take the kid away from them. It's getting so liberal that he and his wife are packing up and moving. The governor of WA state is awful.
The government is demonic
Totally agree
That’s crazy
yes washington state is awful, getting more anti 2A too, unless you are a criminal with a gun, then it's ok, including minors. One of the highest rate of car theft, highest number of drug encampments after california and another state. Lots of socialists too.
Are your kids trans? Also, you simplified a complex issues and how you described the bill, that's not what actually happens, but continue that conservative talking point.
As a young Canadian I want to move to the U.S since it’s close similar culture and warmer weather. But the visa requirements to work make it nearly impossible and the limit on how much visas are granted
You can have mine, I'll move to Vancouver. Deal?
Don't worry about that. Amerika really loves illegal immigrants. Shalom
Look into nursing. Maybe you can find a program to sponsor you. It's a pretty regular thing.
Stay in Canada. It's safer.
My father’s side of my family comes from Canada 🇨🇦. Grandpa came to NYC years ago, with only a second grade education. Is it nice there in Canada?
Great view of the Orlando temple.
I've been in the Seattle area since 91. It is a lovely place to live and there are tons of jobs but the cost of living is really high. I bought a house a few years ago that has accelerated in value but i can't afford to move anywhere else in this area. All of my neighbors are roommates living together sharing a 3 bedroom house with one bathroom. Unless you are an established professional, housing might be an issue.
Depends where you live in Washington. Yes Seattle and surrounding areas are expensive but Yakima County and the east side of Washington is still cheap, just not as many people want to move there understandably.
The upper peninsula is not bad if you can handle the commute into Seattle. That area is neat, but some people believe it is just too far away.
I'm from the East Coast & spent last summer in Seattle. It was an interesting diversion from my normal experience. While driving East, I noticed a stark contrast once I entered Idaho. I could never live in Washington state because of the political climate. Shalom
@13allybaba the sunshine is great though, and the area has a beauty all its own.
@@esotericsolitaire oh yes trust me I’m a resident of eastern wa there is plenty of beauty! Not talking bad about it just some people don’t find the beauty in it.

It seems curious that Florida is the only southern state on the list. And also, that so many of the states mentioned have harsh winters. But I know lots of people enjoy having four seasons.
I know you've done videos on states that people are moving to, or from. But do you have a video explaining what states have the highest populations of "natives" living in them. That is, states where generations love it, and don't really care to move?
Keep up the good work.
1. Oklahoma
2. Arizona
3. New Mexico

Exactly why I live in Texas. Probably some of the best veterans benefits in the nation, affordable, and decent VA medical care.
Eastern Washington is mostly desert, and Western Washington is mostly timberland or rain forest - very extreme - wet and dry. When individuals move to Western Washington they usually get seasonally depressed (aka SAD). I think that if a person can afford California then they should live there. It is a beautiful state. It is just sad that California has so many issues currently.
I thought seasonal depression happens when it’s too cold.
Florida 🌴☀️🌴
@@Spacebuddy-dm6ps No, it's the lack of vitamin D from staying inside due to rain. You can combat SAD by simply saying f*** it and going outside anyway when it's raining. Usually it's just a drizzle so it's not hard to tolerate.
There's always central Washington you get both wet and dry weather best of both IMO
It's always fascinating to explore the best states to live in. However, it would be awesome to see a follow-up on the cheapest places to live in the US
Before watching, my top three, in no particular order, are Utah, Wisconsin and South Dakota. Now to watch the video :-)
South Dakota?? 🤢 Windy windy windy freezing cold.
I would agree. Utah and Wisconsin would definitely be in my Top 3, but after some research over the past few years, South Dakota has fallen off slightly for me, but it's great comparatively to the rest of America. Not sure what my #3 would be. Maybe Washington.
You're delusional
Yeah, I'm in South Dakota, the East side and we will be getting snow tomorrow. I want to move to southern Washington State.
Boring sucks
