Just back from the Bristol gig. Part 1 - Yes, was good, had expected it to be my favourite part of the night, but Part 2 - Journey, wow, fantastic, but Part 3 - Trooper, WOW - absolutely mind blowing 👏👏
I just found out videos of this new gig and got offguard when I watched the backsingers (there's backsingers now) joining to the Rick's rig to play chords together. And the new singer is great, it's a fresh take on it, even after Hayley Sanderson
I went to the show last night at Theatre Royal Drury Lane and wish I hadn’t. I’m a huge Yes fan from 1975 and was really looking forward to this show. It cost me 80 quid. The girl singing was wailing and completely murdered “Roundabout” and “And You And I”. You could just about hear Ricks keyboards and the drums sounded like a toddler was banging on them. The only quality on stage apart from Rick was the bass players left handed Rickenbacker. It was very nice and must be worth a fortune. I left at the interval for fear of what would be murdered next and went home gutted. 80 quid down the drain 😢
@@stevesmith3990 I don’t understand how people can say how good it was. They are either tone deaf or don’t want to admit they wasted their time and money.
That girl singer is the late Steve Marriott’s daughter. The bass player is the most talented Lee Pomeroy who also plays in the current Caravan line up and is one of the best around

Agree 100%! Always liked Starship Trooper, but the encore!! Dueling keytars between father and son was something else!
@@BerniePottrell Presuming it is Adam?
@@bertbecker7532 yes, it was Adam 👍
Was at this gig! Wow!!!! This version of 'Trooper' blew my mind; what musicianship. Thanks Rick, keep going ........ Please.
I was there too and I concur. Brilliant encore, rest of it was pretty damn fine too🎉

After listening to this girl sing folks have the nerve to complain about Jon Davidson. What's up with the 1908's danicing girl
Man !!!! Watching i am rocking out 😊😊😊superb shredding guitar and just all briliant
Sounds great!
Rick is and always will be a true master and a legend
Looking forward to Gateshead on sunday !!!
Wow indeed. His legs don’t look to be working too great but there’s nowt wrong with his fingers. Fabulous.
Seen live tonight in Birmingham what an awesome night
OMG What a total emasculation of a classic track. Only Rick could do this!

Agree, this and other videos I've seen are awful, glad I didn't go!

@@andrewarthurmatthews6685 yep, Lee Pomeroy is excellent although he also plays with Take That 😀
Other than Rick and Adam these musicians are nothing but average. That bass solo was terrible and that guitarist cant play the WURM well
