I felt like this kiss scene was more passionate and a little aggressive than the ones they had earlier because it clearly shows their longing and how much they missed each other, they poured out all their emotions in this kiss. The actors did such an amazing job.

After seeing Song Kang with other actresses in their respective dramas, I have to say, there truly is nothing as special as the bond he has with Han Sohee. Their chemistry here in this drama really propelled the series forward and I genuinely never got bored. Brilliant performance 🙌
Yes! Watched the behind the scenes of SK's new drama and there were no longing gazes, no touches. Still friendly but generally just being professional. So Hee with Hyung Sik also didn't give off the same vibes as what she had with Kang.
This might be one of the few kdramas where I felt the sexual tension between the main leads. Like yikes, it was so frustrating when they kept avoiding eachother and yet, with one glance, it felt like they wanted to tear eachother apart! Song Kang and Han So Hee are two amazing actors! The amount of emotions they have put out during this drama, absolutely brilliant 🔥

I think most of the women who got trapped in a toxic relationship just lack of self-worth and self-love. They think it's love but at the same time they also know that kind of 'love' just keeps hurting them mentally and physically. So, it's important for women to love themselves and know their worth first before try to start a new relationship. I have a close friend that always got herself into a toxic relationship. And it just hurts her mentally and physically but still at the end she chose him and found it hard to get away from him. It hurts me to see her like that. So, yes Nabi's character is real. There r women like this in reality. I hope my friend knows her worth is much better than that toxic man. This goes to Nabi and every other women as well.
I fully agree.... she already got hurt before Jae-eon came into her life....I get it that she just wanted to satisfy her ego and gain back her self- confidence with him after the break-up with former boyfriend but it's time she uses her head and not her heart and start looking at Potato Boy Do-Hyeok whom will love her more plus respect her. It would be a great story if this is about Nabi realizing her self-worth and to see Jae-eon get crushed and learn his lesson so that he can be a better human being later on.
But maybe this drama is trying to heal both NaBi and JaeOn. There are two sides here in this story and they are both very flawed. Why can't be strive to better both people and give them second chances? People can change although not any is successful or want to but there must be a reason why the director is giving JaeOn some POV so that we can try and understand, not justify, mind you, but perhaps not try to skewer him on a stick just cause we only see NaBi as the only party to be emphatized with. He too probably has reasons and trauma that led to his twisted logic and may not realize how hurtful his behaviour is. I seriously see his struggle and dilemma and loneliness in this NaBi business even without him actually voicing it. He too deserves happiness with NaBi, not just Do Hyuk.

I think that's been changing recently though. Like Lee Do hyeon and Go Min si in Sweet Home and Youth of May, Park Seo Jun and Hwang Jun Eum in Kill me, heal me and She was Pretty, Suzy and Lee Seung gi in Gu Family Book and Vagabond, Hyeri and Jang Ki Yong in School Detectives and My roomate is a Gumiho. Definitely is something recently that is possible to work again with each other, especially if they had this kind of chemistry.
This skinship was executed well along with that ost. Their way of communication for each other because they are not ready to state their feelings out loud and it was more passionate. It could be clearly seen that they longed for and missed each other
There are so many comments saying that Nabi has to choose the potato guy just because he is a good person and loves her. But love doesn't work this way, you don't choose the person to love, it just happens and forcing yourself to love another person only ends in suffering for that person.

I was waiting for Swoon to upload this. SK-HSH's chemistry in this episode was so undeniable, strong, and heavy. I can't even remember when the last time I saw this kind of chemistry on-screen before. The drama humanizes Park Jae-eon, just like SK and HSH said in the interview, he's just someone lonely who's misunderstood because he expresses himself differently. He never forced Nabi to do anything. It's Nabi that can't resist him and has fallen so deeply with him (and we can see Jae-eon finally realizes his own feeling and reciprocate it, but still he has his own issue and that can't be ignored). And as a woman I can understand why Nabi can't resist him (and no, it's not because he's so good looking and smooth or something). They both need to solve their own issues, separately. For me, the kind of open ending where they meet again after time skip (because Nabi wants to be an exchange student to Paris and Jae-eon is maybe scouted to America) with the possibility of starting over since they both have developed into better characters, is the best route ending. This drama is about coming of age story, not a pure romance, so it's kind of silly turning this into team 🦋 or 🥔. Just enjoy the flow of the story, the cinematography, the superb actings, and the leading roles chemistry. About Dohyeok, actually I think he's just the nice guy version of Seol-a. He's just there to spice things up. I can't even understand why he pushes his way between Jaebi while knowing the pull they have toward each other and how Nabi still loves Jae-eon. Potato boy definitely deserves someone who's not being weighed down by another love or the past, unlike Nabi.
I agree with this. The drama humanizes both sides. I've been exactly in Nabi's shoes before when I was in college. But, I don't think Jae-eon is a "bad" guy. It's just his values/views on relationships (casual, no commitment, dating around) differ from Nabi's (dating 1 person and committing to them as a bf/gf). Neither one has a good or bad lifestyle - just not compatible with each other, despite their chemistry. I think they haven't communicated enough about the differences to truly understand what each other wants. But still I can see how Nabi can't let go even though she knows he will always keep a boundary with her. This is not a romance story, more a story of making mistakes, learning lessons, falling in love and also experiencing heartache
I literally agree with everything u said, the open ending would be the best way to go, the drama itself- is so well made and entrancing, it's a coming of age story not a romance and about jae-eon being irresistible , yes, like the things he does, they're just very attractive. he's assertive, he'spassionate, he's also considerate -all attractive traits. this is the one drama i've seen that really shows the flaws in the characters and doesn’t sugarcoat it in any way.
You cannot hate Nabi. She doesn't need to force herself to be with someone she doesn't love (in a romantic way) because it's her feelings! If you were to choose, the one you love or the one who loves you? It's still our decision. It' still her decision. And of course, it is not like that she also needs to like back Do Hyeok or to choose him just because he likes her. She only likes him as a friend and that's it.
That’s true, but I think that she should end up alone on the final episode because it seems like she doesn’t like Do hyeok, and it’s not good for her if she goes back to Jae-eon because you can try to sugarcoat it, but Jae-eon is a manipulator and Nabi would be heart broken again. Let’s also not forget that Nabi was in a toxic relationship before, so while this is unfortunately realistic, you can’t help but get mad and disappointed in her. Nabi needs to just figure herself out. Also loving someone or something doesn’t always mean it’s good, in fact, sometimes for your safety and well-being, you should stay away from it. So Nabi can love Jae-eon, doesn’t mean she should end up with him. I also think that people don’t like her because she’s had chances to have a healthy relationship, but she keeps going back to his manipulator, and we’re rooting for Do hyeok and we feel bad for him.

If I respect the guy that loves me enough I won't give him any hope unless there actually is some. If I respect myself I won't make it seem like I'm satisfied with a guy not wanting to date me but having np doing other stuff, just in hope one day I'll be the main character who changes the broken bad boy (btw it aint gonna happen, he is who he is and that's an asshole, that who he is) I choose myself and choose to move on from the guy I currently like and see what follows afterwards, I'll need time and distance. (just my opinion tho)
The chemistry and sexual attraction is such an undeniable force between them and these scenes together are powerful and amazingly erotic. I don't know if it's their magnetism or if it's the skill of the female director that makes it such an enticing series. Jaeon was upfront and clear from the start of what he wanted from the relationship and he never gave Nabi false hope of anything more. He didn't lie or lead her on with meaningless promises as many men do to get a women in their bed. He is so sensual and exciting that NaBi couldn't resist and went along with it from the beginning and she then began to have unrealistic expectations so I am not understanding why everyone is saying he is toxic if they both agreed not to go past the line that was drawn. I would love to see him change and them end up together but if not it doesn't mean Jaeon is the villian, he was honest with her from the start..

Ok this is all I have to say. I agree that he has been upfront with her about not wanting a relationship. But the things he did for her was more than friends with benefits. So for you to say that he’s been clear from the beginning is just incorrect. If anything he kept confusing her by being nice and then cold and then nice and then cold to her. And he was doing this Bc he’s unsure about where he stands with her as well. And we know this isn’t just another fling for him since he feels differently for her than any other girl he’s been with. So I don’t think that he’s toxic, but I think his confusing behavior is. If a guy who claims to only want sex makes you seaweed soup on your birthday, you can most definitely interpret it as perhaps some romantic feelings being involved and not just a physical attraction. Anyway that’s my two cents on their relationship.

I love this drama so much! I can relate to it so much. I have also been in FL's situation recently. it was even harder for me to let go as it was my first relationship. Being a teenager, no one around knew the correct thing to do. So despite knowing that the relationship wasn't good for me, i found myself in an endless cycle of going back to him.

JE did not just kiss her because he wanted to but he wanted to confirm her feelings for him because when he tried to talk to Nabi, Nabi always ignores him, he tried to talk to her since from the ferris wheel but Nabi just ignored him and he made his last resort that he knew to confirm her feelings by kissing her and Nabi responded to him for the first time for this entire episode.
This! Nabi has been hot and cold with him too.. even seeing other guys (junior student and now DH) so it's not like she has been constantly trying to get JE's attention. Nabi has not been honest with her feelings and has tried to protect herself by refusing to communicate properly. I think they are both bad at communicating

I like this video's comment section bcs i can see a lot of people perspective of this drama. Some of them try to understand the characters feelings and their conditions, some of them use their logic a lot and lowkey ignore the characters feelings, some of them only want the love tension between the characters, some of them hoping the best for all characters, some of them kinda forcing the endgame, some of them give their advice based on real life and many more. I can learn a lot of things here especially for this drama. I really enjoy the plot that they serve, cinematography, characters, relationship, soundtracks. Such a great drama!

I saw some comments on twitter about people planning to drop the drama bec she isn't reciprocating potato guy's feelings. On paper he is the perfect guy. But that does not mean she is supposed to reciprocate his feelings. Attraction and love does not work like that. This is not a that politically correct drama, this is a realistic drama. People annoyed at Nabi for making out with Jaeon gotta realize that when you are deep in this kind of situation when you're insanely attracted to someone, you're eyes search for them, you want to touch them and be close to them. She literally has no spark or attraction to potato guy then why would she pursue that just because it all looks nice on paper?

Nevertheless is the most realistic kdrama I have ever watched. The more you try to resist a player, the more likely you are to fall for them. Life isn't all white, so is relationship. They went through so much growth in the process.

I don't care who'll be her endgame here (tho she end up with Dohyeok in webtoon) but we're not sure here because there's a lot of changes they did here and I like those changes btw. I just need their character development. Make them all a better person especially the main leads. 🦋
@@kt334 Yes, in the webtoon he was quite cold and the times he was warm- were very manipulative in my opinion atleast. But in this series you can catch glimpses of times when he really lets his feelings show. Honestly in the webtoon it was easy to hate him 🤣

I think i watched this scene over 20 times and still, even now I can't breath watching it! They show the heightened emotions and passion of a kiss/skinship that comes after a fight so well! This is why it is so hard to end toxic relationships. When the bad is really bad, the skinship is also f'ing good! After Rihanna's "Love the Way You Lie" music video, I think this is the first time I'm seeing the passion of a toxic relationship showcased so well on screen.

not that he doesn’t know about it but more like pretending not to know, just like what his mom said. and i understand because that is unusual for him, that’s not “normal” for him hence he had a hard time to face those new feeling with all its uncertainties but his mom’s advice helped him a lot in any way like, “who would love you if you don’t take care of yourself”. and later he finally-for the first time-had an idea that nabi might like him too, from what kyuhyun said. after that, he learnt about the lies seola told to nabi. that’s where I think he got the inkling about nabi’s disappearance. and as you can see in ep 7, he actually tried to have a talk with nabi to ensure everything. but it failed. they sure really have a looooong way to go.
anyone noticed how the editor zooms in and makes both na-bi's and jae-eon's pupils dilated when they looked at each other towards the end of the scene? it shows the "love hormones” which will have an effect on pupil size. the brain gets a boost of these chemicals when you're sexually or romantically attracted to someone. once again, kudos to production team for these very small details!
This is honestly sooo much better than those toxic boys in boys over flowers and true beauty and many more cause at least he asks and knows the meaning of consent and his boundaries i don't get why people hate realistic stuff and go for toxicity.

I like that every JE’s words in this scene has figurative senses and how he hold Nabi not to let her escape his hands as well as let her face with true feeling. He has a very subtle mind but his act is not as fast as his mind. He keeps looking for Nabi in every of her detailed gestures. DON’T CLAIM THEM, don’t claim her, don’t claim him. In front of person you LOVE, you can not control yourself tbh. Be Nabi and be Jae Eon please! you’re just an outsider, be them once and you would understand why they done things like this. Do not say “Nabi does not deserve DH”. @@thecutestcinderella I watched this episode twice. trying to explore the character of Jae-Eon who still seems mysterious. in the end I concluded, the lonely soul of a person cannot be destroyed directly even if he meets someone who makes him interested. on the other hand, Nabi who still seems innocent becomes more mature in character because she meets Jae-Eon. both learn to understand each other in their own way. I don't like that those who comment on the Nabi must learn to respect themselves first, because sometimes in this world we are blinded by something and that is natural. Do-Hyeok's presence wasn't expected by the Nabi either, right? never mind, just enjoy until the end.
TBH Most people were tying this drama into the 'typical love triangle trope' when it is CLEARLY NOT the case. This is NOT your typical romance drama okay? And NB didn't like DH. She just treats him like her childhood bestfriend. She NEVER gave mixed signals. It was DH's choice to confess, to continue liking NB even though he (and their friends) clearly saw the stares of the two; that the two liked each other (two = NB & JE). As for JE, most people were jumping to the hype of him being a walking red flag, cheater, fboi, etc... that they clearly MISS his REAL character. He is lonely. He has past trauma that made him like this (don't want to commit). And we DON'T KNOW the reason why. We only had Ep 6 to hear his POV, and it shows. JE's character is not your typical 'bad boy changed to good boy because of a girl'. If you watched and understood Ep 6, he is slowly changing; as he said "bit by bit". He's experimenting. I hope people will TRY to understand his character, DEEPLY. Remember, since Ep 1 up to 5, it was NB's pov we were hearing/watching. So all of the image of JE that was stuck in our minds were NB's pov of JE; NOT JE's POV. :) A lot of people were clearly not watching the drama properly, and it makes me sad coz this is such a great drama. Like FINALLY a more realistic one. /sigh

They think it's love but at the same time they also know that kind of 'love' just keeps hurting them mentally and physically. So, it's important for women to love themselves and know their worth first before try to start a new relationship.
I have a close friend that always got herself into a toxic relationship. And it just hurts her mentally and physically but still at the end she chose him and found it hard to get away from him. It hurts me to see her like that. So, yes Nabi's character is real. There r women like this in reality.

But maybe this drama is trying to heal both NaBi and JaeOn. There are two sides here in this story and they are both very flawed. Why can't be strive to better both people and give them second chances? People can change although not any is successful or want to but there must be a reason why the director is giving JaeOn some POV so that we can try and understand, not justify, mind you, but perhaps not try to skewer him on a stick just cause we only see NaBi as the only party to be emphatized with.
He too probably has reasons and trauma that led to his twisted logic and may not realize how hurtful his behaviour is. I seriously see his struggle and dilemma and loneliness in this NaBi business even without him actually voicing it. He too deserves happiness with NaBi, not just Do Hyuk.

SK-HSH's chemistry in this episode was so undeniable, strong, and heavy. I can't even remember when the last time I saw this kind of chemistry on-screen before.
The drama humanizes Park Jae-eon, just like SK and HSH said in the interview, he's just someone lonely who's misunderstood because he expresses himself differently. He never forced Nabi to do anything. It's Nabi that can't resist him and has fallen so deeply with him (and we can see Jae-eon finally realizes his own feeling and reciprocate it, but still he has his own issue and that can't be ignored). And as a woman I can understand why Nabi can't resist him (and no, it's not because he's so good looking and smooth or something).
They both need to solve their own issues, separately. For me, the kind of open ending where they meet again after time skip (because Nabi wants to be an exchange student to Paris and Jae-eon is maybe scouted to America) with the possibility of starting over since they both have developed into better characters, is the best route ending. This drama is about coming of age story, not a pure romance, so it's kind of silly turning this into team 🦋 or 🥔. Just enjoy the flow of the story, the cinematography, the superb actings, and the leading roles chemistry.
About Dohyeok, actually I think he's just the nice guy version of Seol-a. He's just there to spice things up. I can't even understand why he pushes his way between Jaebi while knowing the pull they have toward each other and how Nabi still loves Jae-eon. Potato boy definitely deserves someone who's not being weighed down by another love or the past, unlike Nabi.
I agree with this. The drama humanizes both sides. I've been exactly in Nabi's shoes before when I was in college. But, I don't think Jae-eon is a "bad" guy. It's just his values/views on relationships (casual, no commitment, dating around) differ from Nabi's (dating 1 person and committing to them as a bf/gf). Neither one has a good or bad lifestyle - just not compatible with each other, despite their chemistry. I think they haven't communicated enough about the differences to truly understand what each other wants. But still I can see how Nabi can't let go even though she knows he will always keep a boundary with her. This is not a romance story, more a story of making mistakes, learning lessons, falling in love and also experiencing heartache

You cannot hate Nabi. She doesn't need to force herself to be with someone she doesn't love (in a romantic way) because it's her feelings! If you were to choose, the one you love or the one who loves you? It's still our decision. It' still her decision. And of course, it is not like that she also needs to like back Do Hyeok or to choose him just because he likes her. She only likes him as a friend and that's it.

So Nabi can love Jae-eon, doesn’t mean she should end up with him. I also think that people don’t like her because she’s had chances to have a healthy relationship, but she keeps going back to his manipulator, and we’re rooting for Do hyeok and we feel bad for him.

The chemistry and sexual attraction is such an undeniable force between them and these scenes together are powerful and amazingly erotic. I don't know if it's their magnetism or if it's the skill of the female director that makes it such an enticing series. Jaeon was upfront and clear from the start of what he wanted from the relationship and he never gave Nabi false hope of anything more. He didn't lie or lead her on with meaningless promises as many men do to get a women in their bed. He is so sensual and exciting that NaBi couldn't resist and went along with it from the beginning and she then began to have unrealistic expectations so I am not understanding why everyone is saying he is toxic if they both agreed not to go past the line that was drawn. I would love to see him change and them end up together but if not it doesn't mean Jaeon is the villian, he was honest with her from the start..

Ok this is all I have to say. I agree that he has been upfront with her about not wanting a relationship. But the things he did for her was more than friends with benefits. So for you to say that he’s been clear from the beginning is just incorrect. If anything he kept confusing her by being nice and then cold and then nice and then cold to her. And he was doing this Bc he’s unsure about where he stands with her as well. And we know this isn’t just another fling for him since he feels differently for her than any other girl he’s been with. So I don’t think that he’s toxic, but I think his confusing behavior is. If a guy who claims to only want sex makes you seaweed soup on your birthday, you can most definitely interpret it as perhaps some romantic feelings being involved and not just a physical attraction. Anyway that’s my two cents on their relationship.

I love this drama so much! I can relate to it so much. I have also been in FL's situation recently. it was even harder for me to let go as it was my first relationship. Being a teenager, no one around knew the correct thing to do. So despite knowing that the relationship wasn't good for me, i found myself in an endless cycle of going back to him.

I saw some comments on twitter about people planning to drop the drama bec she isn't reciprocating potato guy's feelings. On paper he is the perfect guy. But that does not mean she is supposed to reciprocate his feelings. Attraction and love does not work like that. This is not a that politically correct drama, this is a realistic drama. People annoyed at Nabi for making out with Jaeon gotta realize that when you are deep in this kind of situation when you're insanely attracted to someone, you're eyes search for them, you want to touch them and be close to them. She literally has no spark or attraction to potato guy then why would she pursue that just because it all looks nice on paper?
I think potato guy will have more character development now. Nabi and jaeon can only offer this! They don't even talk about their issues. It's 100% lust. She is too involved in this lust situation to even realise what is around her. Some People really can't tell the difference between lust and love

Maybe this is also a hint what will gonna happen to the characters. Jae Eon's character here is different from the webtoon. He never fell for Nabi on webtoon but I think he did in this series. I don't care who'll be her endgame here (tho she end up with Dohyeok in webtoon) but we're not sure here because there's a lot of changes they did here and I like those changes btw. I just need their character development. Make them all a better person especially the main leads. 🦋

I like that every JE’s words in this scene has figurative senses and how he hold Nabi not to let her escape his hands as well as let her face with true feeling. He has a very subtle mind but his act is not as fast as his mind. He keeps looking for Nabi in every of her detailed gestures. DON’T CLAIM THEM, don’t claim her, don’t claim him. In front of person you LOVE, you can not control yourself tbh. Be Nabi and be Jae Eon please! you’re just an outsider, be them once and you would understand why they done things like this. Do not say “Nabi does not deserve DH”. God, at least until now she just see him as a childhood friend, nothing reach the line between them, she hasn’t done anything to let him though that she liked him. @@thecutestcinderella I watched this episode twice. trying to explore the character of Jae-Eon who still seems mysterious. in the end I concluded, the lonely soul of a person cannot be destroyed directly even if he meets someone who makes him interested. on the other hand, Nabi who still seems innocent becomes more mature in character because she meets Jae-Eon. both learn to understand each other in their own way. I don't like that those who comment on the Nabi must learn to respect themselves first, because sometimes in this world we are blinded by something and that is natural. Do-Hyeok's presence wasn't expected by the Nabi either, right? never mind, just enjoy until the end.
TBH Most people were tying this drama into the 'typical love triangle trope' when it is CLEARLY NOT the case. This is NOT your typical romance drama okay? And NB didn't like DH. She just treats him like her childhood bestfriend. She NEVER gave mixed signals. It was DH's choice to confess, to continue liking NB even though he (and their friends) clearly saw the stares of the two; that the two liked each other (two = NB & JE). So don't ever blame NB for not returning DH's feelings coz that's not her damn responsibility!
As for JE, most people were jumping to the hype of him being a walking red flag, cheater, fboi, etc... that they clearly MISS his REAL character. He is lonely. He has past trauma that made him like this (don't want to commit). And we DON'T KNOW the reason why. We only had Ep 6 to hear his POV, and it shows. JE's character is not your typical 'bad boy changed to good boy because of a girl'. If you watched and understood Ep 6, he is slowly changing; as he said "bit by bit". He's experimenting. I hope people will TRY to understand his character, DEEPLY. Remember, since Ep 1 up to 5, it was NB's pov we were hearing/watching. So all of the image of JE that was stuck in our minds were NB's pov of JE; NOT JE's POV. :)
A lot of people were clearly not watching the drama properly, and it makes me sad coz this is such a great drama. Like FINALLY a more realistic one. /sigh
It's always like that in relationships like this, you want to run away, but they always say the right things,make you feel good ,loved but then again, it lasts for a second and it's gone . It's a game, they draw you in and then leave you hanging
