But the butterflies and the innocent touches and the feeling of being unsure if one's emotions is being reciprocated that seems more real to everyday people.

The reason why I love this drama is that it is realistic. As a college student, this type of love is something that is not commonly portrayed in dramas. You really get to meet people like Jae eon who is literally a walking red flag but you will keep falling for them with their subtle kindness and irresistible sex appeal. To viewers who get disappointed with the storyline because Nabi is 'dumb' for her love life decisions, you are literally viewing how it looks like when a person is completely blinded and falls for someone despite the red flags--which means, this drama is doing a great job. The softness of all their love scenes is what has kept me hooked to this show. Everything from the lighting, to the cinematography, music, direction and acting has been integral in creating this sense of longing and want even though it's dangerous. I love his mystery and her assertiveness. I love how it clashes and changes. It is very well written and shot and this is just a huge praise to everyone that worked on the show. Even the side characters like Bit Na and Sol are a joy to watch and experience. It may not be perfect, nevertheless...
Yeah a women DEFINITELY directed this. The chemistry is definitely directed towards the female gaze. Hand placement, tension, lighting & sensuality are things that truly appeal to women more & makes all the difference when it comes to romance. The actors are both refreshing with intense chemistry so nothing feels forced or odd. Anyone who has truly been infatuated by another knows that this show hits the nail on the head; especially when that person isn't the "right" one. There's nothing like the thrill of chasing someone your heart is unsure about.

Yes tbh Nevertheless surprised me. I'm not really into kdramas, esp under romance/drama genre, but with how the director could turn a simple plot into something like this drama was really amazing. I initially thought SK and HSH would carry the whole drama but I was wrong. The drama itself was beautiful, and their chemistry made it even more mesmerizing and unforgetable. I even like all the casts. Character developments were great, and how they used metaphores makes me keep rewatching all the episodes till this day. It's very fun to find and realize something new every time I finish watching all the episodes. They really were thoughtful in making this drama, even with quite a simple plot. And let's not forget how they picked the best and most suitable set of OSTs 👏👏

I love how this is more sensual than sexual, they portrayed this trance-like butterfly scene which I really like, and they did not use the rough style western shows/series often use as portrayal of intimacy and this is frwsh to see in K-Dramas that are most often mainstream. Not all ‘western’ shows are rough. They keep it real. Not the wide-eyed corpse like retaliation in most kdramas by the female lead. This is well directed and acted.

honestly this is the most realistic kdrama I've seen, as a girl who's been through this with a f*ck boy it's actually accurate you try to resist but the more you push them away it's the more you crave them
I really love Nevertheless. It is one of my fave kdramas and the chemistry between Song Kang and Han So Hee is still unbeatable for me so I am really hoping they can make another kdrama where they will end up again together. If possible, i even want them to become real couple because they are so cute during their behind the scenes. They are so natural and comfortable with one another ❤❤❤

You know what I like about Nevertheless, every scene doesn't look sensual or vulgar at all. The way Song Kang and Han So Hee handle every scenes professionally is just makes it even more gentle and romantic. ✨ Up for these two!

It's because of the age limit so people mostly prefer watching on Netflix alone instead of live broadcasting on TV with the whole family. It's doing well on Netflix Korea and the drama is also one of the hottest topic at the moment!^^
Korea is conservative I think that's why the rating are low but the drama is so so good. The actors too who accepted to do these roles, I have lot of respect for them. I love these kind of dramas.
Ngl, my heart still flutters everytime I watch this scene. It might be sensual, but one word always come to mind everytime I watch this: BEAUTIFUL. SK and HSH really nailed it in this scene! I can feel how Yu Nabi felt loved and how Park Jae-eon wanted to treasure every second of that moment (even if he didn't do it because of love at that time). Then the angles, lighting, all were really well-put together. Thumbs up for the director and her team! On top of that: the OST. I can even still hear it played on my mind. Very fitting. Yeah a women DEFINITELY directed this. The chemistry is definitely directed towards the female gaze. Hand placement, tension, lighting & sensuality are things that truly appeal to women more & makes all the difference when it comes to romance. The actors are both refreshing with intense chemistry so nothing feels forced or odd. Anyone who has truly been infatuated by another knows that this show hits the nail on the head; especially when that person isn't the "right" one. There's nothing like the thrill of chasing someone your heart is unsure about.

Yes tbh Nevertheless surprised me. I'm not really into kdramas, esp under romance/drama genre, but with how the director could turn a simple plot into something like this drama was really amazing. I initially thought SK and HSH would carry the whole drama but I was wrong. The drama itself was beautiful, and their chemistry made it even more mesmerizing and unforgetable. I even like all the casts. Character developments were great, and how they used metaphores makes me keep rewatching all the episodes till this day. It's very fun to find and realize something new every time I finish watching all the episodes. They really were thoughtful in making this drama, even with quite a simple plot. And let's not forget how they picked the best and most suitable set of OSTs 👏👏

Not all ‘western’ shows are rough. They keep it real. Not the wide-eyed corpse like retaliation in most kdramas by the female lead. This is well directed and acted.

The slow build up of sexual tension is immaculate, and the aesthetic aspect of the shots!! No intimate scene in American tv series has ever made me feel this way. 역시, that’s the charm of kdramas, and now that they have finally started exploring more intimate topics it’s really over for us.

You must be confused between with physical attraction and having romantic relations. Those two are different with latter having for deep connection and feelings. Most people think it's love but it's just craving for physical intimacy, the body to body contact and exchange of body heat. I think, like you, the female character is confused too.
The intimacy of this scene felt real. This is what I’ve been needing from kdramas and we finally got it. I found myself going through it with Na-bi. I want to root for them but Jae-eon also makes me mad. He is so confusing! Ugh, but he is so handsome and does such sweet thoughtful things as well. Can’t wait for next episode now!
