New to this, was wondering if old skates can be easily converted to your own shoes.

Hey! Just starting this project now, cutting y own metal insoles. One question, though: what should be the thickness of the metal insole? Thank you

Be careful when you righted the axle nut for the wheel you might crush a bearing i don’t recommend doing it that way

    hello!
Quick question... in your video and some that I have seen state to go up a size In shoes for the metal plate to fit, but why not just go down a size for the metal plate to elevate buying a new shoe? Also, did you get your skate plate from bont, and if so did you spend 45 for each plate or 45 for both pairs?

i think you have 2 go up a size 4 the shoe because when the metal insole is added, the actual shoe fits much tighter :)

Yes, it's about the height of the insole, not the size itself. So regular size might be too 'low' for your toes afterwards end you end up with standing on the hard insole, instead of adding the soft one on top of it, and still being able to fit in.

what kind of wheel do you use? Is it a wheel for a skateboard or a special wheel for a quadskate

Hi! Why does it have to be a half size bigger? I want to do this with a pair of vans that I already have. Will that be problematic?

Just because the metal innersole takes up about a half size of extra space
