Thanks!! The traffic and road is not that bad in Malaysia. After our trip to Vietnam last year we are so good at crossing the busy street 😅 but it is still scared..
Wow, can't believe that there were quite a number of street vendors very near your hotel. Hehe, your kids seemed to be enjoying sharing one piece of fried chicken and their daddy went back to get more.
You should try our street burger, known as Ramly Burger..its usually sold on carts by the street throughout the evenings. You can customize the patty either beef or chicken (single or double), whether normal or special. Special means the patty will be wrapped in an omelette - a signature for Ramly Burgers. Ramly Burger traditionally is saucy, so you can customize for less sauce if thats your thing.
This is a different kind of jackfruit from the other one. Locally we call chempedak which is softer while the other type is nanga and the flesh is more tense hence not appropriate to be deep fried
@abctravelers yeah both types also available here once is eaten fresh while the other one usually deep fried. Not only English, Malay and Mandarin but also various Chinese dialects
Yeah for malay we must learn three language too , it be bahasa melayu, english and the most among this three is arabic, since kindergarten we ca speak, read and write arab alphabet 😅😂@@abctravelers
@@abctravelersCempedak is the same family as jackfruit, but totally different texture and taste Trivia: Jackfruit, Breadfruit, Fig and Mulberry are in the same family called Moraceae.

Mila and Avery 😅😅😅😅! They are a little crazy but at least they are eating 🎉..
Welcome and hope you all will enjoy your Malaysia experience.
When crossing a road always look at BOTH directions, even, especially a one-way street.
Thanks!! The traffic and road is not that bad in Malaysia. After our trip to Vietnam last year we are so good at crossing the busy street 😅 but it is still scared..
Enjoy the street food all over Malaysia

Ohh thank you friend!! We had so much fun exploring KL. Wished we had more time but this is just the beginning ☺️
@abctravelers You and your family can always come back again. 😀

That not jackfruit, its another family of that type.. and its sweet when you eat raw or fried. The seed also you can eat after fried or boil it
That’s what everyone is telling me!! I actually tried it before fresh. Super sweet.
Fyi, you can eat the seed of the cempedak...
I thought you have to cook it first? Ohhh frying is cooking huh -- me 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Your kids really enjoy the chicken 🤣🤣🤣, have a wonderful day there 👍😊
Like is an understatement 😂😂😂
Gotta love Kuala Lumpur. KL, you’ve been amazing!
Let’s go back ❤️
Malaysia is getting more tourist from China because of visa free. Love seeing your kids love our food. Thanks for promoting my country.
Thank you for watching. We love your country. Really underrated but it is on the rise ❤️
such a beautiful family..
Thank you ☺️
The rice with chicken is called Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah...enjoy!
Omg!! My kids love it 😅 can you tell by the way they eat ..
Very nice
Thanks friend ☺️
its not jackfruit - its chempedak - usually fried. same family, but different taste.
Both good ☺️
Bak kut teh is a traditional food from malaysia.
Bah kut teh is a kind of soup containing pork.
Yes, it is! I think we saw some stalls selling it. We didn’t try it but it looked amazing.
Most local Chinese like myself stay in the urban areas hence it's normal that you find more Chinese in KL, Penang and ipoh

One of the Grab driver told us. You guys learn Mala, Chinese’s and English in school. This is super cool.
I tried that kind of jackfruit before in a different country. We like the crunchy kind better ☺️

It was deep fried Cempedak not Jackfruit (Nangka). Cempedak is slimy, mushy & stringy not crunchy like Jackfruit.
Ohhhh!! No wonder why it doesn’t taste like the normal jackfruit we normally eat 😅 it is really fun to eat tho ☺️
Cempedak in english also called Cempedak and its seasonal fruit.

You can ask Drink for less sweet. They understand you..
I should but just didn’t think of it at the moment.. but it was fine after the ice deluded a little bit ☺️

That is so interesting! I heard KL have lots of Indian immigrants too..
The plastic bag for coffee the malaysian call "ikat tepi"
Still mean coffee right?

I like the bag 😂😂😂 kind of different ..
Singapore and Malaysia have same culture. Malay, Chinese and Indians.
I didn’t know that until we visited. It is super cool.
Malaysia has the largest local Chinese population outside of China and Taiwan. Almost 10 million Chinese. More than Hong Kong and Singapore.
Wow! Didn’t know that about Malaysia. No wonder why we saw a big Chinese population, culture, and food. ☺️
@@abctravelersyeah but by population ratio is 60% malay, 25% cina, 8 % india and the rest is native tribe.

Maybe the kids need to be less messy when eating... the table is so dirty...not cool.
Their dad clean the table up after. We didn’t leave a mess. ☺️
