If you come in to Terminal 1, it is similar in that you go out to the parking Garage and up to Level 2. They do not make it easy for pickup at hotels either. Taxi Lobby is powerful.
Rdsxfan I put it in the description T3 I showed of said it in the video
Thanks
Glad you made this video bc the last time when I was in Vegas I got lost lol
I forgot to mention in the video this is terminal 3.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
Hugely helpful, I watched this video first, to try and find my way around the airport. Then I seen the rest of your channel and subbed. Love the content!
4K & HD Train Videos!!! Thanks so much! Glad it helps
Thanks for the info they must have just put those signs there. I don't remember signs in 2016, lol. I was completely lost
lol to many people getting lost without the sign lol
I am a great fan of the WAX bus - only $2 from the airport to the Strip, stopping on the corner of Tropicana.
tell me more, is this the local bus? Where do you catch it at the airport?
@@dverdouw011 The WAX does not run as frequently as other bus lines (on weekends only one per hour) but all you do is pay cash, $2 in singles, on the bus. From Terminal 1- go to the luggage claim area then downstairs to Level 0. Exit and the WAX bus stand is on the far right. From Terminal 3- go up to level 2, then out door 44. The WAX bus stand is across the road.
@@sutherland9 thanks for sharing. I have a flight in January and I will have a 12 hour layover in Vegas. This is great to know because I definitely don't want to be stuck in the airport the whole time and I don't want to spend too much money on transportation.
So helpful! We are landing in Vegas this weekend and taking an Uber but I had no idea where to go! Now I will get off the plane and look like a smarty pants to my hubby!
Randi Hinkle Just make sure it’s terminal 3 lol
@@SayHiToMatthew not terminal 1?
Helpful video. Good to hear you are a fellow Toronto based Vegas fan. Gotta share some support so you have a new subscriber.
A Life's Journeys thanks!
Thank you! Appreciate this information very much! Now I know what the airport looks like!
Thanks for the video, this is what I plan to get an Uber from the airport to the same hotel MGM Grand for my trip in June. The shuttle companies are jacking up prices due to limited shuttles because of Covid.
Hey Matthew! Great video. Can you do another video on how to pick up your rental car at the Las Vegas airport, preferably Thrifty car rental?
If I rent a car I will keep that in mind!
Thanks for the video, it was very helpful.
Oh nice! This is a different video, I like it!!
Would never think to make a video like or even watch one but I’m so excited for my Vegas trip so here I am. 🥴 Very helpful. Thanks.
Thank you!
I have been using the airport shuttle system my entire time going to Vegas hotels. The WAX sounds pretty cool as a good alternative. Not familiar with using ride share, etc..
Great content very informative thank you everyone talks about lyft and uber codes we will be staying at MGM GRAND also have you any codes ?
Thank you! Yes my code ubersayhitomatthew you will get a discount on your first ride
Great video Matthew I think everybody needs to know how to get transported from the airport to their hotel awesome
Thanks!
Oh, so that's where it is. I always use taxi. I like Ed B's advice about the cheap shuttle vans.
I stopped using taxi
Super helpful. But which pick up location did u use? Was super confuse on that part too
6l0r terminal 3
Wow they couldn’t make taking a ride share car more inconvenient. That’s a crazy long walk and ordeal compared to hopping into a cab! Is it a big savings to warrant the trouble? I can’t remember, but I think the last cab I took to Planet Hollywood was easily less than $20...?
Sir Matthew, this will help a lot - Thank you. Your Awesome
r d no problem! Just note it’s Terminal 3
Thanks for this video, I'm coming back to Vegas in 5 weeks! Gonna use Lyft for the first time! helpful!
ACBuckland make sure it’s terminal 3!
@@SayHiToMatthew Yeah bud, arrive at T3 :D (double checked)
Great Video your good at what you do
Gus Stergiou Thank you! I appreciate it.
Very helpful video. Thank you Matthew
Where do you go if your pick up person is neither a ride share or taxi? For example, if my sister is picking me up? Do they go to same place as ride share?
Good helpful video Matt!!
Is there a wifi point by the rideshare area? I'm from the UK and wont have mobile data.
Good question it might not be strong enough that far from the building

Took me a while to find it the first time I went. Very useful
I bet you love McCarran Airport. It is a great airport.
Take the wax bus from terminal 1 so if you’re terminal 3 take a little shuttle ride there. 👍
never done that
Advise anyone staying in Vegas more than 5 days to head to the boneville transit centre and get the 15 day bus pass for $35 includes all deuce and sdx buses along the strip. 👍👍
Thank you very much for the useful info. Hopefully when you get your handpay, you can get the limo.
This is nice, I'll be going to Vegas in June, flying in around midnight with some friends...any suggestions on what we should do since we'll have about 11 hours to burn before we can get to our room?
Leave your bags at the bell desk then you are free to do anything you like. eat, drink, gamble before you know it it will be time to check in lol
@@SayHiToMatthew word, that's what I figured. I'm just a little bit worried I might be drunk before I even check in. Thanks.
dont go in june . 115 degrees , thats why the rooms are cheaper in summer
@@bradcamillo1966 but everything is booked, flights, hotel, leave request for work, too late. Besides, I'm not planning on walking around in the daytime.
@@mattyjay1711 you will have fun . lots of air conditioning and pools will keep you cool . get some drinks and chill on the strip and people watch . good times !
LAS needs better signage. I've flown in twice from Ohare and as a chicagoan I highly recommend people try to fly in early if its your first time to Vegas because I myself got lost in here even though I fly out of Ohare and never get lost there 😂
Outbound Travel I just left Chicago!
July will be my 4th time in Vegas, never used Uber there before but definitely will use it this time.
S1888 see you then haha
SayHiToMatthew hope so pal!
Thanks for helpful tip! Kinda look scary - not alot people around for safety reasons. I usually take the taxi and tell the driver to take Koval and avoid the strip. Takes 10-12 minutes from airport to hotel. The money the driver saved us from avoiding the "long route" goes towards the tip for being fast & courteous.
i'm not a fan of the taxis they long haul way to much. it's not scary at all I feel very comfortable there.
SayHiToMatthew I've been fortunate with taxis thus far:) Usually we get a rental car but now they charge valet at 99% of the hotels, it is not worth it. Might need to try Uber and Lyft to get around next time. Thanks again for the great tips!
Very helpful!!!
For $30 + tip round trip you can use VIP Shuttle service from Bell Trans. Sometimes they transport you in a Limo, sometimes a Black Chrysler. Only had one problem with a driver being 45 minutes for pick up. Other than that, always on time. Bonus, is you don't have to walk all the way to the garage for a ride.
HeyHey Helen 45 min is too long lol
It sure was! I made it to the airport on time. Driver stated I wasn't out there when he passed. What a lie, I was 20 minutes there before our allotted time. If he was truthful, he would of parked and texted, like all the other drivers do when they arrive. I'm always outside before the pick up time. He can play that tune with ignorant riders, but not me. I hope he got fired for his untruthfulness!!!
This is very useful. Thank u.
Sweet video
Wife and I first time in Las Vegas May 12 any useful tips!? Staying at planet Hollywood I have watched a bunch of Vegas videos already lol..
Bootattoos have fun be safe and don’t lose all your money lol
Not a huge gambler so that wouldn’t be the problem.. lol Supposed to be a honeymoon so we will see how it goes..
My husband and I checking into Planet Hollywood for the first time, on May 3rd...I think we're going to try the $20 trick😬
Bootattoos Enjoy your trip! Live band nightly at The Cromwell. The best place to hang out in my opinion. Best place to eat is Aloha Special Cafe at The California Hotel downtown, normal price too not t like the strip. We also like to do Korean BBQ off the strip. Our favorites are Gen Korean BBQ House and Biwon (has Korean BBQ and sushi).
23mimiboo same here let me know if it works.. I will be coming in May 11 but planet has a high chance of working. Highest percentage of the trick working I believe. Seen that on the website that has that info.. It took me a while to pick a hotel too be honest..
GREAT JOB
what do you key in the app for pick up location ?
Very useful. Thanks
Kevin On the Go Thank you
$13 is about same as a taxi to MGM. I would only use Uber if going north strip or downtown.
Anyone knows what the taxi cost to the belaggio?
Remember it well. Being solo and first timer, I think I did amazingly well 💖💖💖
Leandabee good job!
Are Uber/lyfts cheaper or are taxis?
Angelique Aripa Uber and Lyft!
So 4 people on shuttle is $44. 4 peep in Uber is $12-18
Enjoy your stay there Matthew 😊
Very helpful
Very helpful :]
It looked pretty empty in terminal. What time did you arrive?
Must be the international terminal. Don' t recognize it.
He said 2am his time which may mean 11pm Vegas time
Terminal 3 is usually like this; if you fly Frontier you'll be there
@@heyheyhelen931 Terminal 3
Mike&KellyFromOrlando 11pm Terminal 3
HELPFUL YES THANKS
Lyft almost always is cheaper then Uber but it never hurts to check both.
Good tip
hi Matthew!
👋 hi
@@SayHiToMatthew I enjoy your Vegas videos.. Maybe you should move Vegas one day
Are u in Vegas right now?
nope! I wish
Thx Mathew
You have to take an escalator up then take an elevator down. 😂
They are trying to prepare you for the strip crossing the streets lol
Thanks Matthew. 13 bucks not so bad.
Ya!
You must be coming from overseas in that video. American travelers don't need to go through customs, and I think it is completely different way to get to Uber pick up. For me it doesn't look anything like what you are showing..
From Canada it’s terminal 3
I've watched the media demonize this guy on several occasions and I'm always left wondering; if he doesn't force or blackmail anyone into buying his greasy food, then why the hell is he being crucified?
where bus stop?
slowmopoke The shuttle bus? Oustide the luggage claim.
Perfect timing!!!! We are going to Vegas next week for a conference and I was planning on using Lyft to get to the hotel from the airport!!! Thanks for the great info!!!
Rogue Beaver no problem just make sure it’s terminal 3 lol
What idiot disliked this video? Probably an ex girlfriend lol!! Thanks Matthew for the helpful info. I'll be there in July and plan to use Uber.
lol people will always dislike! I will be there in July too
you could have walked to the hotel, lol
lol next time
Gee forget it if you are handicapped or have walking issues. They sure put it out of the way.
HeyHey Helen I agree. i usually do the shuttle just outside of the luggage claim which takes you to front door of your hotel.
Take the WAX
i like the shuttle vans $11 to the strip hotels 15 to downtown they are fast
What if your hotel is last stop ?? Could take 35-45 minutes.
@@JohnnieV ya that is the worst part lol
@@JohnnieV i'm not sure but i think the shuttle and bus have a special lane. last time i was stop 5, Harrah's . first stop was Aria and it did take awhile to get in and out of their. next 3 stops went fast. landed at 950pm pick up my check bag smoke a few cigarette and made to the Hotel by 1045pm .so not to bad and i don't have to drag my bags a few miles for uber shuttle are right their when you pick up ur bags.
@@edb2078 yea. That works for u. I rather go to parking garage and take Uber. Different strokes
Don't listen to Smug Smugly he types dumb comments in just about every video on Vegas. Seems to be a real creep.
