Thank you, this video saved my day and an expensive repair. Checked Meiles webpage first and all it said was call for service. I was able to fix it in 20min with no special tools. Only tool I needed was a screwdriver. Once again thanks.
Thank you, I’m experiencing the same problem in spite of using the salt exactly as directed. You’ve given me the confidence to take the front panel apart and fix it. Much appreciated!
Thank you for your video! I just fixed the TurboThermic drain pipe on our Miele G 646 SC. First I rinsed it with water, and then I pulled a straw cleaner through it a couple of times to get the sides clean. Worked like a charm! 🙂
@mguerramd Thanks for your explanation. It's well appreciate. It has allowed me to repair my dish machine Miele G846-60. Repairing our equipment contributes to reduce, a bit, our foot print on carbon emission and our raw material extractions.

Thanks a lot it works perfectlly :-) You saved my day ! For me, the piece piece after the tube was also blocked. I blowed in the tube and all the trash goes away :-)
Ours is between 18 and 20 years old. We inherited it with the house we bought. It’s amazing. We‘ve since bought a Miele tumble dryer and will go with Miele again when our washing machine packs up. Though that’s a Bosch and is doing pretty well too. Have only had to replace the brushes on it once, that’s it.
I seem to recall you have do a little wiggle or alignment down at the bottom of the door by the hinge plates. I don’t remember exactly. Then you have to line up those clip nuts as I showed. Remember to have a pile of books or boxes or something to keep the front face up at the height of the frame. You can do it alone but a second pair of hands will help.
@@readieable Did you get it? You might need to remove the top panel that covers the buttons, install the front panel, and then put the button cover back. As you put the button cover back you have to wiggle and jiggle the buttons so they line up with their holes. Also clean the inside edges of the button holes and the outside edges of the buttons. Grime can build up and cause the buttons to get sticky.
No I didn't get it yet. I can't seem to get the screw holes aligned and the faces flush to each other. I will try removing the top panel and see if that helps in the re-fit. I can't seem to send you photos from here; do you have an email I can forward some fotos to? @@mguerramd
Actually I guess it's best to remove that top face plate so you can access the fan reservoir. Which I did in this video.

Thanks! This saved me a repair, estimated to cost a minimum of $260.

Great explanation, thanks!
Thank you, that was a very clear explanation on how to clean the vent.
Such a great video, thank you for this! I was feeling crazy with the leak and turns out it was clogged up just like you noted. Big thumbs up on this.
Thank you! This is exactly the problem I had and I was able to fix it thanks to your video. Cheers!
Many thanks, just had to do mine, as three times it has happened and found blocked.
Merci
Those machines last forever.
We bought it because it is dead quiet. And had a reputation of reliability. This one is 18 years old. Works like day one.

I am having trouble re installing the panel. The panel won't set into the door properly. Have you done a re install video
Are you talking about the entire panel or just the white board thing?

Yes the entire panel that I removed by taking out the 3 screws on each side of the panel
