Thanks for this! Incredibly helpful (I was able to get my system working using your walkthrough)-- for future viewers, you might also try to jiggle a powerful magnet around the reed switch a bit; I think my reed switch might have been jammed in an open position. Moving the same magnet that you use to spin the sensor wheel (as shown in the video) near the reed switch seemed to help fix that. Just something additional to try, as I'm not certain whether it was that or just re-seating the flow sensor connector housing. Anyway, I _really_ appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge! Saved me a pile of cash.
G'day from Australia 👍, great tutorials mate, cost me $65 for genuine flow meter, the dishwasher works like new and the dishwasher i married has stopped making loud screeching noises thanks again
I had the same problem. I ordered the part from Miele, they said it would take 3 months. While waiting and getting impatient I decided to try to replace the reed switch with a part I bought from Jaycar for about $2.00. Got the soldering iron out and replaced the switch and abracadabra the machine was Fixed!!!! Then the part turned up from Miele and it was the wrong part. So I called them and they refunded me.
