I have the most current update and several times did a completely fresh install. The cannonball port (and all the new ports) do not show up on my port list at all, the folders all exist however in the emu, ports folder on the miyoo. Thanks ahead of time for the assistance.
fixed the issue; anybody else having similar problems: Press the home button with the Ports icon highlighted on the miyoo browser and select refresh roms.
Did you try out the Wolfenstein 3D port as well? I've noticed that the "restart option" in retroarch doesn't work. Due to the "autosave function" and the missing option to assign a "menu button", I can't restart the game to chose a different campaign or change the difficulty settings. Outrun, Dinothawr, Rick Dangerous and Quake are working fine as well as VVVVVV.
@@RetroBreezeYT Awesome! This might be a very obscure notion but I wonder if it's possible to get some ecwolf mods to run like "Operation Serpent", "The Orb of Dilaaria", "Operation Eisenfaust: Origins" and "Wolfenstein 3D: Batman vs Bane". Even though prboom is very restrictive, I did manage to run DOOM with a brutaldoom weapons mod. Maybe a similar thing is possible with ecwolf with some recycled commands from the "Noah's Arc" and "Sprear of Destiny" ports.
@@RetroBreezeYT received mine just now . Wonderful device. But this Is my first emulator and I don't have any mario games on my SD card that came with the miyoo mini . Any tips on how to get those . Anyway I will follow your tips on how to install the onion os.
You did once a good video how to copy over Port files and folder, after they were missing after updating. I just updated 3.11.2 to 3.12.2 with the smaller patch file from github (35 MB) but sadly the new port files are missing. My girlfriend would love to play Joe dangerous and I would love to install quake and cannonball... Any way you could upload the missing files and folders so they show up in the ports folder as you did once before? Thx in advance...
@@RetroBreezeYT of course! May I ask where you got the files from? I just used the link you provided, but how can I find it myself? Tried to unzipp the update but couldn't find the folders...
I'd appreciate you doing one of these videos for Quake. I've installed the relevant four folders (dopa, hipnotic, id1 and rogue) in Emu\PORTS\Binaries\Quake(dot)port\FILES_HERE as per the advice I've seen elsewhere but the game doesn't load at all.
@@RetroBreezeYT Thanks for the response! I just tried that and it still didn't work. Both with and without the 'music' folder from id1 folder. Seems I'm jinxed, lol.
Hi I just tried it again from the id file from my steam download of the game.I just made sure this time PAK0.PAK AND PAK1.PAK were in caps into the files_here folder . mush of had a glitch the first time . all that is left is to get flashback to work.
RetroBreeze Is there a way to save the settings? every time I open the game, it reverts back all the settings that I made. Also is there a way to save in game?
I'm using the newest version of onion (4.0.3) and it says I have cannonball installed but my ports folder is missing the binaries folder and only has a .json and .sh file in it. Anyone have any idea why that is?
For anyone having this problem, you need to copy your Stock Bios files that you saved from the original OS when you got your Mini. they are located here . Add BIOS files Once you have run the Onion Installer, you can now shut down the device, eject the microSD card, and add your files to it. In the BIOS folder, add your BIOS file collection. You can simply copy/paste the files from your stock SD card, or add your own. On the stock SD card, you can find the BIOS files under RetroArch > .retroarch > System You will need to be able to see hidden files in Windows or your Mac to see the .retroarch folder. Here is how to do that: Windows 10: Open File Explorer from the taskbar. Select View > Options > Change folder and search options. Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK. MacOS: Press CMD + SHIFT + . (period) to show/hide hidden files. To see a recommended list of BIOS files to add, head over to the Onion wiki page to see their list of emulators and recommended BIOS files for each system. For most systems, BIOS are not required, but can enhance the playing experience (like adding the original boot logo when starting up a game). For systems like PS1, Sega CD, and TurboGrafx-CD, BIOS are a necessary component.
I've looked into this before and I feel it is far too complex, it requires using build tools to compile the image yourself and it just a huge mess of a process for pretty lame results. I don't know. I'll think about it.
Another really helpful video thanks. I'm finding none of the settings save even though I'm clicking the save button. It says the settings are saved but next time I go into the game everything is back to default. Anyone else having this issue?
"Sit down/Upright" refers to two different ways the original arcade machine could be configured. "Sit down" was a machine with a car seat where the player would sit down like they were in a car. The upright configuration was a standing machine, although it still had pedals!
Dude you are awesome. I read today about Out Run Port, but i don't know where get this Game untill this Video Tutorial release. Thank you.

Nevermind! Actually I was not in the newer Onion version.
You mentioned custom tracks. Where would we gather and place them?
The Wiki for LayOut (the track editor) is here: github.com/djyt/layout/wiki but I've not tried it myself!
