    Seriously? You're criticizing a four-year-old video that was shot spur-of-the-moment from the roof of a parking garage while working? This is not intended to be a cinematographic masterpiece--it's a first-hand observation of life under the midnight sun. Apologies for the bad perspective, but my choice of location wasn't exactly flexible, and the light pole couldn't be moved for me on such short notice.

    @groofoot: Yes, this video was shot at midnight on July 4th. This is about as dark as it gets that time of year.
    Most hotels (and most residences, for that matter) come with blackout curtains, though, so you shouldn't need to worry about being kept awake or woken up by the light. Also, a good eye mask from a pharmacy would help cure any light leakage.

    I am trying to find out about darkness in Alaska in summertime ... I cannot sleep without darkness, ... and .... would it be correct that this is as dark as it gets in July ... and even then, not for very long? :/

      Lol I know this comment is 7 years ago lol in the winter it gets hella dark then summer lol summer time we still have a little bit of light in the summmer

    Cool , but you need to practice your photography skills, I mean really the light pole center screen!!
