few tips. ya need to practice your weld technique. don't drag the weld. it gets horrible penetration and looks bad. practice either drawing circles or doing a whip back and forth. or bevel the edges your going to weld and do a side to side whip. also pushing your weld over pulling gives you decent penetration and let's the weld lay flatter as it preheats the metal and let's your weld puddle spread out
AxtillioN welder make and model doesn't matter. but judging from the lead it's less than 150 amps and he's using Flux core wire. But regardless as I said make model power and wire mean nothing when it comes to technique
mmainer2000 as Cason Connors said with flux core wire you definitely do drag to weld. But from the amount of spatter going on I would also suspect he may not have the welder leads polarity reversed from how they would be if he was using gas. Polarity is one way for gas and the opposite way connected for flux core wire.
Because looking directly at a weld without a mask is a great way to go blind. Even though it's a video and doesn't get nearly bright enough to hurt your eyes, if you're around welding enough it's just a trained response.

Hey mate, gotta say it's good to see someone on you that actually knows how to properly cut with an angle grinder, but can offer some advice on your welding, I noticed you went for a continuous run, and we're left with blow out holes that you that you then had to fill. That is pretty crap! Next time you use your mig welder, set your steel so you have a 1 mm gap running the length of your weld, this will give the new steel your adding by welding, somewhere to go! So your not left with a built up weld sitting on top of your steel, but do it in short bursts! Of two or three seconds at a time holding then wait a few seconds, and go again, this is called manual spot welding, and is extremely effective at creating strong welds! Because your pumping more current thro the steel, and melting into the two items alot better, therefor making it a much superior weld, that will also cut down on the amount of time you need to spend on cleaning up and grinding off un-needed metal, but that's just my experience.... hope it helps
***** _If you have multiple attackers, you're screwed_ If you're worried about it getting stuck in a multiple attackers scenario, it's probably not a good idea to make a weapon using a toothed circular saw blade to begin with. More than likely, you're screwed anyway if you're being attacked by multiple assailants, so you might as well make the weapon as lethal as possible. _If you have to move quickly, you're screwed._ The weapon's the same size and weight regardless of the direction of the teeth. Not sure where you're going here. _If you don't feel like attempting to pull bones out of a human torso just to get your weapon back, you're screwed._ It can still stick on bones pointing away like that. For instance, if the cut lands between ribs and a tooth gets lodged on a rib with a point catching when you try to pull it out. In that case, the teeth pointing into the cut have the advantage, as they are facing away when you pull it out. _If your first hit doesn't kill him instantly (which it most likely won't), you're screwed (unless you decide to leave your weapon and wait for him to bleed to death)._ It probably won't instantly kill anyone regardless of the direction of the teeth. At least with the teeth pointing into the cut, you'll create a deeper gash, meaning more blood loss. The blade is not as sharp going against the backs of the teeth as it is going towards the points.
yo man, I know you say you aren't that experienced with welding, but a really really good tip I got taught is that less is more, a tac should be barely any time, all that extra heat is causing it to get all matted and ugly, trust, be gentle, and be quick, and the weld will come out looking better then sour patch kids covering Scarlett Johansson

You could also leave it as it is and sharpen the V so when you pin someone's limb or neck they get sliced up. But I'd prefer to have a spike.
+Syd S but the spike would look cooler
+Syd S like maybe part of a sword or large knife or something
+KirAtic I was thinking more practically, but a spike WOULD look cooler. Like some deadlier version of a trident or something.
Bro, Im coming to you in the zombie apocalypse!!
:P XD
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
@@crazydudeman2483 lmao
Because your pumping more current thro the steel, and melting into the two items alot better, therefor making it a much superior weld, that will also cut down on the amount of time you need to spend on cleaning up and grinding off un-needed metal, but that's just my experience.... hope it helps
looks like someone should turn it into a guitar
Get too excited on stage and you'll lose leg meat
Can I go spam that video??? pleaseeeeee
yes
no you are a zenenought we do not do such things
Go right ahead
a lot of ppl have
Someone give me a name.
If there's zombie apocalypse this guy he is prepared he got all kinds of weapon 😂
Should've made the teeth point down, that way they dig into the target instead of pointing away from it as you swing.
it could get stuck that way
He explained the reason in the build for the previous form
It might get stuck, but it'll also cut better that way. Won't matter if it gets stuck if it inflicts a mortal wound.
***** Dumbest statement ever is the one given with no proof or reasoning. Congrats.
***** _If you have multiple attackers, you're screwed_
If you're worried about it getting stuck in a multiple attackers scenario, it's probably not a good idea to make a weapon using a toothed circular saw blade to begin with. More than likely, you're screwed anyway if you're being attacked by multiple assailants, so you might as well make the weapon as lethal as possible.
_If you have to move quickly, you're screwed._
The weapon's the same size and weight regardless of the direction of the teeth. Not sure where you're going here.
_If you don't feel like attempting to pull bones out of a human torso just to get your weapon back, you're screwed._
It can still stick on bones pointing away like that. For instance, if the cut lands between ribs and a tooth gets lodged on a rib with a point catching when you try to pull it out. In that case, the teeth pointing into the cut have the advantage, as they are facing away when you pull it out.
_If your first hit doesn't kill him instantly (which it most likely won't), you're screwed (unless you decide to leave your weapon and wait for him to bleed to death)._
It probably won't instantly kill anyone regardless of the direction of the teeth. At least with the teeth pointing into the cut, you'll create a deeper gash, meaning more blood loss. The blade is not as sharp going against the backs of the teeth as it is going towards the points.
15:31 the memes are strong
it all starts there
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
yo man, I know you say you aren't that experienced with welding, but a really really good tip I got taught is that less is more, a tac should be barely any time, all that extra heat is causing it to get all matted and ugly, trust, be gentle, and be quick, and the weld will come out looking better then sour patch kids covering Scarlett Johansson
what if u add a Dagger on top of that
Minecraft ADDICTIVE double sided blade though? Cuz then yes
ReefleksPlayz OH, make a double sided halberd!
No one with minecraft in their username and profile picture has a say
@@jacobibrooks1339 true but his idea was pretty good
A halberd

violets aren't blue.
i'm colorblind
Actually the line is "the fitness gram pacer test is a multi-stage aerobic capacity test"
Pain in the ass test all in all
AROBIC*
Fucking pacer.
I've watched all of your videos and am going over them again, even though I've never watched any non music video twice
you should make Lucille from the walking dead. the bat looks cool
KBCplays pretty eye-popping design ;^)y
day9spark too soon man. glenn was my favorite character and now he is dead and everyone is making eye pop jokes. and he seemed totally cool with dying on the talking dead. ;-;
KBCplays hell yes
AWE ME did it :P
KBCplays nah it would be too easy the video would be too short
You know you could technically sue him right... just wait till the movie releases that way he has much more money to take
Raccoon eggs?
I don't know if it's a coincidence, but the camera changes and timing for when you use your equipment fits the music's beat and sounds amazingly well O.O
Heyy, that's pretty good!
+Popcorn Farts What are you? Fucking gay?
+Thanatos 3000 That's mildly adequate
+Popcorn Farts what is ur problem
+National Socialist well, I am straight I have a crush on a girl, but, being gay means you love someone, it is fine, but no it is actually a mental problem.
Not idubbz.
WARCRAFT battle axe
Eli, I know you may not see this but here is a tip for when you weld, slow down, let the pool form a bit more, I notice through the light that youre moving alot too, keep the gun in a straight path so you can get a great weld.
Ima raid his house first in the zombie apocalypse
Good luck lol
If you can make it within 50 yards of my house I've been dead for weeks.
lol
We'll see in the zombie Apocalypse. team ok?
+ZNA Productions YOVE GOTTA MAKE ONE OF THE BLADES OF YOUR NEXT WEPON THE COLOR PINK BECAUSE ITS THE MANLIEST COLOR KNOWN TO MAN
make a claw grabby thing but as a saw blade
Teagan Joeseph co2 can on each one so they move fast as fuck
hey friend just a tip on welding if you make tiny circles or side to side motion passing from one piece to the other will greatly improve your welding .
it depends on the type of welding process you do and how thick the metal is if it is to thin you will blow right through happened to me many times
Per usual, great content! When welding, it might help if you pull the torch while making little cursive "e"s. Hope this helps!
Is it illegal to make weapons like this?
no
Perhaps not were eli lives but here in Australia it is illegal to take them off your property
Nope. Wouldn't care if it was.
Were do you live in America most states allow you to build your own guns (working on it)
+ZNA Productions my man.
Best intro I have ever experienced.
Thank you 00:00
your good kid but you need to work on your welding
exactly what i though
He just now started but he is a great builder
Do you think he doesn't have argon gas
Anubis Vex it's not about the gas he is using its the technique used when welding and his are a little sloppy
That's exactly what I was thinking
whoo glad i dont have epilepcy anymore
I'm diggin the art in this bro. Not flaming or bashing at all, just one quick tip from what I've learned: Try to get your welds a little closer and you should have less splatter to clean off. Your welds should come a lot smoother that way when everything puddles correctly. Keep up the good work buddy!
If there was an apocalypse, this dude will be my blacksmith
But he didn't blacksmith... until now
Children in Africa could've eaten those machetes
Why does everything he makes in black look so hecking good
Lol I love idubbbz
Heyyyy that's pretty good
It's actually a storm drain
you: "dont be mean to them in the comments section of their video"
me: *"READY TO HATE BOIS"*
imitation by a large design studio is the highest form of flattery
the teeth would have more damage if you turned them the other way
I would agree but that is a serated edge which can get caught easier than a blade
But then it wouldn't look as cool, and let's be honest, what's more important here?
