- What are we without the Mercy of God? What are we without the hope, comfort and assurance it gives? Nothing!
We celebrate God's Mercy today; that sun that never sets, even in the thick darkness of our lives.
It is in the spirit of this great Feast of mercy that I wish to share with you a spoken word poem I wrote on God's mercy, titled: "BECAUSE HIS NAME IS MERCY" .

I came upon you and Fr James in the middle of the night here in Arizona when I wasn't able to sleep, due to pain.
I joined in just in time to be able to attend Mass at 230 in the morning in Arizona.
Now, its 1030pm in Arizona. I have had a rough day and kept beating myself up from my lifetime of sin.
Yes, I love Confession and I know all really is forgiven. HOWEVER sometimes I still beat myself up.
Fr, these 8 minutes of closing my eyes and listening to your voice speaking of faith and hope and mercy, I find my sins that have tormented me today melt away.
I have fallen in love with my God all over again. Usually I'm at Mass or in Adoration when I'm falling in love with Him😊
I am positive I was awake last night so that God would introduce me to the two of you.
I am grateful that you heard The Call to become a priest.
