With this topology and some references you make this become, well, any car model. Your channel taught me that I can sculpt anything with this simple approach and I am really grateful for that!
I've managed to model a car without perfect topology in 30 minutes. Oh, wait a minute, that's not what I wanted to say. I wanted to say - I've managed to model a car with perfect topology in 5 minutes. It's on my channel. Check it out yo 🤣🙄
Thank you dude! I've been spend more than five years modeling with blender and yours videos still coming handy and still teach something new. You still mine best educator. By the way, thanks to watching your videos, I got into habit of listening synthwave while modeling.
this vid is amazing - it's more than just a lesson on topology; it's the perfect beginner's exercise when you want to learn to replicate real cars accurately in blender. Learning the primitives and going from there, as it SHOULD be done, without over-complicating the cr@p out of everything and spending more time messing around with blueprint alignment than actual modelling. A lot of cars I've seen traced from blueprints don't look this good in terms of proportions!
I can't begin to tell you how much this video has helped my car modelling. The combination of the clever way you do the wheel arches and the inset with the boundary has been an absolute game changer for me! Thank you so much! 🙂
Seeing you make a car in 10 minutes shows me how much I have to learn, I tried making a character my using the spheres and sculpting. It's my first work and for a few project, looks pretty good
Hello, I am Turkish and there is no source about blender in my country, thank you very much, thanks to you we learn the blender application. You are very good at your job ...
cheese grater on a string. That's so metal. Glorious finish to the model (I would've fixed that wing though), I'm a big fan of the cartoony cars look and now I know how to do it! Thanks for all these awesome videos and the great community you got. I'm way late to the show and just catching up on all this goodness and knowledge
This is great, I am just in the middle of a project where i want to box model some cars ive designed but i didnt do it in an orthographic style and ALL IVE SEEN is just "set up your orthographic views" and "spline" "spline" "spline" "spline" "spline" and Ive even tried to box model myself with unsatisfying results, but THIS may help me immensely so thank you for this video!
Dude this is incredible! I love the speed factor for the sake of learning from your video and your method is fantastic. And buddy below is right, your ability to model from imagination alone is phenomenal. Thank you so much!
Imphenzia , awesome job bro! I somehow lost track of your videos but now checked the new ones too. Congrats. Hopefully you are satisfied with your blender kink. But if the world were a fair place I should have never asked you this question. Because you deserve what ever you desire by your actions.
You're a master at modeling from imagination! I would love to see you do a video on how to take a low poly model like your care and make it looks higher poly.
Hands down, THE best low poly modeling channel on RUclips. It doesn't even matter what 3D software you use because your process is what matters. I've learned so much from your videos. Thanks so much for continuing to make these. I think you should change it to 15 or 20 mins though. Nobody is getting "bored" watching you do this stuff.
I can't figure out 6:05 when you inset then set boundary it doesn't act like the first time we did that. was there a different button pressed besides B?
Just updated my subscription settings, no wonder I missed some content. Have to go back and watch that as well. Awesome work BTW, have loved this channel for quite some time.
wow, thank you you should make more of these kind of tutorials. It makes me feel more comfortable with box modelling but don't have enough experience. so these tuts helps a lot.
I have never hears of S -> B for boundaries before. That is amazing

Do an everyday video with you walking down the stairs, brushing your teeth, make food, go out with the trash, clean the dishes and working at the computer, all sounds has to be added afterwards and sound edit has to be inspired by old martial arts movies.
Press Mid-Mouse button to rotate. Shift + Mid-Mouse button to pan around. Scroll Wheel to zoom in & out. Keypad#1: Front view. Keypad#3: Side view. Keypad#7: Top orthographic view. Keypad#5: Toggle btw orthographic & perspective mode. Left-click: Select. Right-click: Context Menu. Del key or X: Delete. Ctrl+Z: Undo. Tab: Object mode & Edit mode. Shift: Toggle/Multi-Select. 1: Select Vertex. 2: Select Edge. 3: Select Face. G: Move . GG: Slide along Edge. R: Rotate. S: Scale. To Move, Rotate or Scale on axis press X,Y or Z after G, R or S is selected. A: Select All. AA or Alt+A: Deselect. E: Extrude. Alt+E: More options - While Vertex, Edge or Face is selected. I: Inset. B (During Inset) if mirror mod is on: Boundary on/off. Ctrl+R: Loop Cut. Palette link: lospec.com/palette-list I'll be adding more. 👍
I'm stuck on 5:04 when I go to hit the median point and resize the lines, only the ones I have selected follow, not the top line as well. can someone please help me. I feel like this is a really useful ability.
When you select faces you dont have to delete them to do a bridge edge loops. Just select both sides and go straight to bridge :) AMAZING VIDEO BTW, respect
Instead of shift selecting individual parts you can press shift + ctrl then select something else and it will select the path instead of whatever you clicked.
The bluest car around is of course the Impreza WRX/GT. It might not be a supercar, but it is a high performance rally vehicle. And if i was modelling it and had no reference and no idea that it was a WRX, i think you got kinda remarkably close. Though with a more Mustangish seeming front :D It's also not uncommon to see a 911 in blue, or a GT-R.
Wow! Your wheel well idea was really ingenious. I have always used boolean to make them while using mirror modifier. Plus, I could never make cars that look modern.
seriously what does shift+middle mouse do after a loop cut it is giving me such a headache. i know it has something to do with the geometry being uneven or something as there are no snap points so i cant do the loop cuts at all. i have one horizontal loop cut in the middle. all my verts look fine no duplicates. im so confused this sucks. something so simple
Dude, what are your favorite bands??? You definitely listen to good music. Sounded very familiar but I can't put my finger on who I'm thinking of, whatever started at 9:38. Your mix of music choices makes me think of the whole lore behind the band Avatar in their Avatar Country story, lol.
So as a newbie to Blender, Unity and similar tools, could you put the model you made here in a game engine, define certain areas of the model like you did at 15:24 and then have the code of the game deform the mesh at runtime? Basically allowing the player to customize the model to some degree. Or maybe us that effect for animation. Or is there an underlying reason why this approach can not work?
Hello and compliments! Sorry, I'm not clear about one thing, I've only seen two of your videos: do you use ALWAYS photos reference for realistic models of your channel, like this car or boing...or you got it from memory? Happy new year ☃
HI, thanks for your great videos, is there any way we can have cavity effect like blender in unity? when we export object in unity the shaders and looks are different , can we have blender like cavity effect in unity for modeled objects?
It is an image, set the base color node of a material to a palette texture (link in the description) and enable to see texture on models in the viewport.
HE after 10 min : complete car model
ME after 10 min : still rotating the default cube
😂 Riiight!?
It's actually pretty easy if you just follow along. But I can understand why you say that lol.
absolutely true. He makes it look easy. I had to play the video 0.25X lol

This looks like a good opert(unity) to putt the car in the lowpolyracer game

This is the only tutorial I could find without revolving those images where you copy it 1 by 1 which I find annoying because I won't learn anything
The slow-mo horse impression alone deserved a like LOOOL, keep em coming Stefan!
I can't begin to tell you how much this video has helped my car modelling. The combination of the clever way you do the wheel arches and the inset with the boundary has been an absolute game changer for me! Thank you so much! 🙂

Kaderimiz aynıymış.
Glad I didn't skip to the modeling at 4:00. I would of missed the horse thing, best laugh of the day.

Great to hear! I was frustrated with the slow spline blueprint method too so I was determined to get a box workflow good enough :)
Dude this is incredible! I love the speed factor for the sake of learning from your video and your method is fantastic. And buddy below is right, your ability to model from imagination alone is phenomenal. Thank you so much!
Well done! My 2 year old asked "What happened to the car, daddy?" :-p

Bro you're my favorite youtube 3D modeler LOL this is amazing. Your race track series is one of the best yet. Thank You Imphenzia
Can u please tell how did u get that colour picker on the left side
Just updated my subscription settings, no wonder I missed some content. Have to go back and watch that as well. Awesome work BTW, have loved this channel for quite some time.

Loved this video... Even though at the end it ends up looking too cartoony for my taste, the techniques you used are so great! Keep up the good work!
super nice topology! but in 8:55, how you choose the colors and applied so fast? I tried for every working window can not do that?
This vid is gold, thanks so much
Great episode and resource once again, thank you! The bonus section adds a huge amount of character to the car in so little time!

Cool Car Imphenzia 👍👍👍
Sorry Imphenzia for Not Coming To Premiere Because i was sick, but love your vids man!!
thanks !!! I am making it following your steps!!! awesome!
And here I am, watching this at 2 AM, when I should be fast asleep.
I'm stuck on 5:04 when I go to hit the median point and resize the lines, only the ones I have selected follow, not the top line as well. can someone please help me. I feel like this is a really useful ability.
So much fun watching you work. Pro stuff, thanks for sharing!
After watching this, this made me not give up on making a low poly car
Looks great, as always. See you next week.
Sick Topology, covers the late game well

AMAZING VIDEO BTW, respect
Cool tip thank you!
I’m convinced this tutorial is going to help me become good at blender
Kept screwing up I honestly give up with blender ive tried to look for so many tutorials and I just can’t do it...
Great video. Looking forward to seeing you modeling a car from blueprints. I've always found poly modeling easier than working with splines
he already did that few weeks ago
I really liked this contribution
i love imphenzia
Do some insects, like a cricket, spider or praying mantis ^^
----Please----
Or 10 insects
Yeah im making a unity game that includes insects, id love to see that as well
Nice Job on the car and thanks for the tips on making a car in blender
Dude, you read my mind each week! I love your videos, thank you 🙏🏼
whats the left color pallete box ?
A well deserved upvote :) 👍
excelente canal¡¡¡ felicitaciones¡¡¡.... como se hace esa paleta de colores??....
Sorry for question not by the theme but what music is playing on background? )) (5:30)
Instead of shift selecting individual parts you can press shift + ctrl then select something else and it will select the path instead of whatever you clicked.
you are awesome dude
4:00 don't thank me
Really helpful vid! Thanks for sharing this method. I'll definitely be using it.
Wish I didn't left blender back on 2007. SketchUp swollowed me than.
But. Now Thanx to You I'm back and motivated to stay
“Strap things on” 😂 Oh sweet summer barn
If that's what you do, too funny!
This guy is fast as hell.
The boundary option is not working
Please help ) :
The real rear wheels.
And if your name is William and you only occasionally follow these videos, these are Will's rare real rear wheels
what addon or panel did u use to add those colors in edit mode

oh nice! you made something I could actually 3d print! The wheels might give me problems, but they're crossing into the car mesh so they might work
Very very beatiful.
As always: Great job, man!
Great video, Really helpful. By The Way, How do you get the side colour panes?
Wow! Your wheel well idea was really ingenious. I have always used boolean to make them while using mirror modifier. Plus, I could never make cars that look modern.
THANK YOU FOR TUTORIAL
Soo awesome
Thank you soo much
You teaching me awesome things
i like this videos, also very nice heavy metal music, what is the name of the song from: 11:38?
ah, the bonus material, my favourite part.
how did you do that color map?

Thanks for the UV colour pallet. :-)

hey, i got stuck in the begining, where is the auto mirror feature in blender 2.91?
He shows it in this video here: ruclips.net/video/1jHUY3qoBu8/видео.html
(I'm still using 2.79, so it better be him explaining that :D)

Hey sorry for just asking for a song but... what's the song at 12:19? I've been searching for this song for months.
Okay nvrm I found it
could someone make a list of the shortkeys he uses pls? :D
I'd love to see a comparison video with bad topology to know why this is so good
u r amazing in teaching.
Love your channep
GREAT!
nice one love it
ggreat tutorials, WHATS your pc spec?
“Make sure you look at it til the end”
Me: i’m not gonna judge
Sorry for the n00b question, but how do you make that color pannel on the left?
It is an image, set the base color node of a material to a palette texture (link in the description) and enable to see texture on models in the viewport.
Hey! I am Aarul and I'm making a racing game and I had to model car for it and this was really helpful Thank you so much
What about subdividing that geometry?
