THIS IS as high quality as youtube will allow...lol....youtube hates you putting up such sweet looking games because people would rather watch this than the 'new' product.
Good match up, both teams surprisingly strong this season. Bears came out of no where to be a dominant team and the Cards had their best season of the 1980's
@1:44:10 Massive run-stuff by Danimal. It came right after Hampton fell and clawed at OJ's feet as he rn for a first down. That was some serious motivation.
@2:01:00 Awesome slow-mo replay of the Bears punter getting launched, like shot out of a cannon launched. Recall that the Bears punter panicked earlier in the season in Green Bay and took off running when he could have gotten the punt off. He probably remembered that here, and Ditka's tirade to punt at all costs.
I'm sure it was just a matter of time anyway, but hearing Richard Dent starting in place of the injured Tyrone Keys? Somewhere Wally Pipp was rolling over in his grave. By the way, stating the obvious, Roy Green was an absolute beast.
The Cardinals looked “on their way” in 1984. As a division rival (Dallas) fan I have always been curious what all went wrong. Especially after they started the next season 3-1 only to finish a terrible 2-10 the rest of the way.
1984 where oh where have you gone 😇
To think if St. Louis won that 84 season finale at RFK, this would have been a playoff rematch
Yeah, and this Bears defense didn't match-up well with the Cardinals.
STL QB, RB, and WRs all talented

I dont know why YT would care. Unless they are in cahoots with the NFL, which is likely.
But you are correct this is high quality and very rare.
Yes, these old games are vastly superior to today's "football".

Love these old games
Watching these old games from 1984 and then watching what happened to the Cardinals in 1985 is just crazy.
The Cards went from 2-3 to 6-3 winning at Dallas, home against Chicago and THE REDSKINS and at Philly. Pretty good run.
Lomax… underrated QB, but took a serious beating over his career
I always wanted to see this game so glad for the upload.

2:10 Wow look at the gouges and wrinkles in that turf.
3rd game of the Bears in the new road Super Bowl winning navy blue pants uniform.
Ditka and Hannifan didn’t shake hands after the game. Did they have some sort of rift between them?

I think injuries and poor defense, especially as the weather got colder and they couldn’t have all the aerial shootouts anymore.
Also a Cowboy fan here.
Lomax was a GREAT QB.
These penalties and turnovers disgust me, Mike Ditka!
Too bad my Bears got they butts whooped 😢😢
Got they? It’s, got their butts whipped. Illiterate fuck. Ebonics is fucking embarrassing
