- Yes, the title is a sarcastic question.
This video talks about a new upcoming game called Miraibo Go that is strikingly similar to the famous game known as Palworld. The timing of this game being announced is very interesting considering recent news within the gaming industry.

Nintendo is the Palworld killer, this game is next on the chopping block if they don't change the apparently patent-violating monster-catching sphere.
I definitely think this game could be affected by the lawsuit
@@TheOFCMediaevery game is affected because if they win I promise nitendo is going to try to patent jumping
It's more like Palworld's success opened the floodgates and there's nothing Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokemon Company can do to stop what's coming for them. Consumers are tired of the half-assed quality of their games and the general mistreatment they receive from these three companies and other competitors know it; these other devs smell the blood in the water and they're looking to usurp Pokemon's stagnant empire while they have the chance.
This is just Nintendo, GameFreak & co going full-panic mode and desperately trying to stall or prevent the inevitable and realizing they fucked up big-time with their lazy, cheap & disrespectful approach to game development and their consumers. They might be able to bully & sue an independent studio Pocketpair into Oblivion, but with Chinese mega-corps and mega-studios like Tencent, Mihoyo, NetEase giving NO FUCKS about copyright and having even more money than Nintendo to simply bribe their way to an easy with with any court case, those days are numbered.
We're only going to see more and more clones like this in the future (in fact there's another Palworld/Pokemon clone called Azure Promilia releasing later this year, and Mihoyo's working on their own Animal Crossing clone as we speak,) so Nintendo & Game Freak will have to adapt or die by genuinely putting out good games with all of the insane amounts of cash they've accumulated over the years with the most lucrative entertainment IP in history.
You might enjoy the monster taming playlist on my channel. Game devs have been trying to get close to Pokemon's status in the gaming world like they are searching for Gold Roger's treasure. (One Piece reference)
This looks like it would be next... in Nintendo's line of fire.
I 100% agree
bruh, nintendo should sue this, not palworld
You saw the monster that looks similar to Charizard?
to bad Nintendo And paleworld can't. join forces against this.
lol, people said palworld stole assets but couldnt prove it. this game seems like it straight up took models. even the range is the same
Yes, this game looks like assets were somehow stolen
Yeah. Palworld stealing nintendo assets was a meme, but I can spot what looks to me like identical skeletons in the animations.
@@squinttt There is a lot of monsters in the trailer I notice that look a lot like "Palworlds" monsters including there standing stance, shapes and behavior for example the "Hangyu" Pal look alike and "Quivern" at 0:41 since I have played "Palworld" long enough to recognize any of them from a distance during my adventures and hunt for a perfect IV.
I do have an odd feeling that they did stole "Pocketpairs" assets just from a glance, The game also does not look that appealing to me since it just looks like a complete Chinese knock mobile game like those quick cash grabs kind of games that were not given love and effort during it's development compare to the developers of "Pocketpair" they did put alot of effort into the game in terms of originality such as visual, sound, design and behaviors of the Pals enough for them to be there own beings.
This is just my honest opinion I felt I should share from watching this trailer I know there are other "Palworld" look alike games out there and they are different enough but this one here just looks way too much like "Palworlds" assets.
They may not have stolen assets.
But it was very clear what Palworld was basing itself off of.
@@squinttt No, there were a lot of idiots that genuienly think Palworld stole asset without showing an actual evidence (and of course Twitter blindly believing them cuz they are idiots)
The worst part? Even when during a magazine where Pocketpair states they haven't stolen anything and even shown how do they design Pals, how do they start the sketches, how do they animate them, etc. a lot of idiots still think they stole the, once again, without evidence.
Literally following their social media is the only way to get information from them, and not a random dude who intentionally falsify evidence (which is illegal btw) in order to hurt them because "I don't like it because it promeves animal abuse"
That's even closer to a poke-ball, kinda thought that since Nintendo wants to abuse the legal system to harass Pocket Pair that we would see a lot more games coming out that would throw a gauntlet in the ring.
This has been the biggest year for monster taming game content. During the silence from Pokemon Legends Z-A, other games have been releasing.
nah man nintendo going shut this down to
I think Nintendo will shut it down if they win the lawsuit. I just thought the timing was crazy.
0:44 I see at least 3 copies of pals in that picture. Palworld should investigate them.
I think all of them are to be honest...
It definitely looks like this company does not care at all about being original in any way
Hangyu, Quivern and Gorigat?
@@kazoorion7993 i meant Univolt in background but Gorigat too.
@@kazoorion7993 The yellow one with the large raccoon-like tail is just Leezpunk. Uses the same animations.
Why isn't nintenco giving this app game a CnD? Not that I want them to but this is very hypocritical of nintendo.
It is very new. They probably don't know about it yet. Have you seen my videos on Roco Kingdom or Fay Keeper? They might be in trouble too.
As someone who enjoyed Palworlf, i'll be honest. It does not really matter as long the game is fun. In fact im rooting for this game to be even better than palworld
I appreciate this honest response
I was gonna say the same, until I realised it's a mobile game, so expect abusive microtransactions and other things that might turn off console players.
Hate to say it but alone the consistent art style makes it look better then Palworld, its cracy however how stolen this looks XD
I mean this could be good for people who want a mobile phone ver of "Palworld" that do not own a powerful enough gaming PC but the question is did "Miraibo Go" get permission from "Pocket Pair" first before starting this copy project? if not then there is going to be a lot of oil added to the fire later...
Yes the similarities are crazy
The monster designs seem much more original than palworld's designs. However, that ball is literally a pokeball lol
I see a monster that looks like Vanwyrm from Palworld and monster that looks like Charizard from Pokemon lol
Yeah.... you haven't played Palworld if you seriously see these designs are more "original", specially at 0:44
Some of this monsters are just pals lol they look exactly the same as pals 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I also believe that game assets were stolen.
People call out the similarities to pokemon with these new games but when other games like nexomon or temtem put out nobody cares. Its either you look like a pokemon clone and hope to succeed to perish on the way side because youre not lookingpokemon enough
TemTem and Nexomon both got a lot of hate and mocking comments when they first started being introduced. The genre has only recently started getting recognized by the general public.
I wonder how they feel after that pokemon palworld patent situation just started lol
I was thinking the same thing. They may not care, since they copied so much already.
Both Nintendo and Pocket pair should be friends and Off this game 😂😂😂😂😂
That would be a funny plot twist
Bruh this is shameless. Does nothing new. Just copies Palworld
Lol, that's why I had to make a video on it with some slow mo so that people could really make those comparisons.
Palworld has officially opened the floodgates 😂
That is exactly what it looks like.
Yeah. I think we’re going to see a ton of games exactly like this now unless Nintendo makes it clear it’s against their patents.
Just hope there's gonna be good boy playable and not girl fest.
It would be nice if they have male character options
But the OG palworld is on the works by PUBG company and they will bring palworld to Mobile
That's cool if Palworld is coming to mobile
Just saw a ad on insta for their game, they all look like pals and even have stolen animations, looks like a crappy knockoff
I agree. The title of the video is sarcasm.
bro too soon
One of my viewers told me about this. LOL 😆 The timing is crazy.
I'mma say it:
One Pokemon "clone" is fine. Two Pokemon "clones" is one too many. Palworld simply beat this game to the punch. I do not have enough room in my hard drive or my heart, for two of these kinds of games. However, like the Wild West, there's enough room for as many bandits and highway robbers as you please. More power to them. We need more competition. A saturated market will naturally select which game survives, and force each company to better themselves if they want to continue to eat at the table.
Edit: WRETCHES! I saw that screentilt icon! A mobile game on top of it all?! To hades with you and the Questionably Legally Distinct Assets boat you sailed in on!
I saw in a different video from the company that they even have the same style computer as Palworld which is insane
Similar to Dreamio Go
I thought it was made by the same company at first, lol. Dreamio Go was at least more creative with monster designs.
nope Nintendo is
The title was sarcasm
welp
You may want to watch my video on a game called "Fay Keeper." Someone made a 90% copy in the style of 2D pokemom games and is planning on selling it as a commercial game.
Well at least i can play it on mobile knowing palworld is never being ported on switch
This is definitely a major advantage for this game.
Steam Deck.
Needs a PS5 port
Nintendo: NO NO NO NO NO !!
Nintendo Lawyers are probably going to jump on this game like Randy Orton doing an RKO
This is going to be quite funny if Nintendo finds out about this. And just when they decided to strike Palworld too. Now i also wonder how Palworld would react to this game... It's definitely a blatant rip off with the monsters and all their game mechanics... Seriousness aside the floodgates seemed to have officially opened if more people are going to make games like Palworld. I don't have sympathy for what Nintendo is doing rn so i hope this does get to them.
Throw D20's or Cubes
I don't know the reference
Some of those look like kinfoak from the unreleased kindred fates also.
😂 I had to go back and rewatch it. I think I see what you are saying
im down to play if they bring it to pc. the whole mobile gaming is yiiiikes
Looks like it will be on PC and Mobile
@@TheOFCMedia O_O kindof strange why they decided to post the mobile version up when it looks like its having frame issues. buuuuuuuut ok thats great whens release date?
I pinned a comment that shows a link to their official website for pre registration. There is no release date yet.
Palword is alive still? Never saw anyone even mentioning it anymore
You must be living under a rock then...
You may want to watch the video that came right before this one. It involves a real lawsuit with Pokemon vs Palworld
Looks like a mobile game.
People are waiting to see if they do microtransactions, which is very likely.
The monster taming community need to stop putting ting throwing devices (balls) in their games.
I 100% agree. When I see a ball, I just assume there is going to be a severe lack of creativity.
@@TheOFCMedia Me too
@@TheOFCMedia Or worse yet, a cercain greedy company patenting it to get rid of any potential competitor. 🙄
The ball is fine. They dont own the concept. TPC got the idea of pokeballs from a older Ultraman series where they used capsules to catch kaiju and fight them like they do in Pokemon. Dragonball used capsules in a similar way to store cars and such. The need to use a round object is staple to the genre. This is like suing a new car maker for making a car. These things are staple for a reason. They are likely trying to kill the competition.
😮😢
