Thanks DannyB, I'm definitely back now. I've been itching to make another giant maze video, but there's been a ton of fan made ones popping up everywhere. While it's cool to see others inspired by my work it's disappointing when those animators don't credit me for being the original series creator, and some even use my custom sprites without crediting me.
@@LevelUPAnimations I always knew of one other channel that did maze videos but I was shocked when I did a search and saw 3 or 4 other channels doing near replicas of your maze videos

dang dude this one was quite the ambitious animation. the scale was magnificent, the use of Cloudtop Cruise's musics was a good choice for this. i was legit shocked at the flying space train from MK8's N64 Rainbow Road cuz i didnt realize it was even flying until it showed up at the end.

All those Goombas are going to make for quite the 1-up bonanza from just bouncing on their heads.
Mario should also take a bit more care of his 1-ups. Getting to 1 every time probably isn't too healthy.
Especially since Bowser seems to be stepping up his game and more consistently bringing Mario down to 1.

Holy crap, this was AMAZING!!
Man, these episodes take so long to get made, but every time they do it's always worth it. Not only that, but each one expands the mechanics of the world this takes place in. For example, this was the first time Mario's ever used a powerup in the episode based videos (outside of the 1-up mushroom). It's also now canonical that popping a balloon in this universe sounds like the Bloons TD pop sound clip, which is a more satisfying than serious note.
This is genuinely one of the most creative and fun fanmade animations for Mario - or any Nintendo game, really - that I've seen in a while! I love all the ways that the core idea gets explored.
If you're a true mario fan, you can tell the music is Cloudtop Cruise from Mario kart 8 deluxe

I absolutely love Level Up's work!
Wow this was amazing, so much creativity went into this, with a few minor tweaks this could easily work as a real game. The only thing I don't like in general is when people use blood and gore in Mario animations...I dunno, it was fun in the 2000's because it was something new and weird to see, but these days I believe it feels out of place since it doesn't fit with the Mario universe especially since you made everything else feel very Nintendo-like (but yeah, I did get older as well... xD ). I believe there are other ways to show cartoon violence without showing gore...for example you could have just shown Mario's clothes get shred to pieces, he even wears some of red clothing so it would give that initial shock effect when shredded. But yeah, all that aside, this was very refreshing to see and I wish Nintendo also sees your work and that it rekindles their imagination, so their best option would be to hire you as their creative advisor or something :D ...keep it up, and thank you for the lovely video :)
