I feel like Monster House is a super underrated Halloween movie. I’ve always loved it since I was a kid. The animation is great and it’s hilarious too. Some good creepy moments in there as well. Also a great movie to watch with the family. (if you have one) A shame that I never hear anyone talk about it tho. It’s a classic and a must watch during October for me.
The Little Vampire!! I never expected to hear someone talk about that movie but here we are. I love it. I owned it on video and then later on DVD. Can't even remember how many times I've watched it by now but it's such a comfort movie for me. The fact I watched it AND Narnia so many times and never realised the sister is Susan from Narnia will never not get me lol. Seeing it brought up makes me wanna rewatch The Little Vampire again now so I probably will.
For me, Pratical Magic does it every single time. It's such a beautiful movie, but also has scary bits, it's amazing. If you guys haven't watched it, you should check it out. I mean, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman? Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before
@@TheHorrorHourTV I like Halloween 3. I think, and correct me if I’m wrong, that it takes a break from Michael and shows what the Cult of Thorn is doing elsewhere
The spooky season will be over soon, however, that isn’t the case for The Horror Hour crew. Seems like they’re still up for Halloween even after October comes to an end. We all hope to see them flourish even more in the coming episodes.
Liam is sooooo real!!! I’ve recommended the faculty to zzavid before and it’s crazy because it’s actually right up his alley it’s so camp, that’s how you reel him in bc he’s so anti scifi (I get it) but he really would enjoy this, I’m rewatching today actually it’s one of my comfort watches
I loved Elvira as a kid. They used to air her specials every year on TV and that was a must for me. I watched Mistress of the Dark last year because I literally hadn't seen it since I was a kid and I was gagged at the jokes that I never would have understood when I was a kid. 🤣 I was like, "My mother literally let me watch anything." 😂 I love it!
The utter disrespect that not one of you named Trick ‘r’ Treat… 😂 I remember getting the DVD from Netflix before they did streaming. It’s become much more commercial in the last couple of years, but this film has been a Halloween essential for me since it was released. It literally puts me right in the autumn spooky mood.
I grew up watching the majority of these picks so this episode is just pure nostalgia for me. Excellent choices guys! If anyone is looking for more "family horror" I highly recommend Don't Look Under the Bed (1999), honeyyy that movie scared the shit out of me as a kid. I also suggest the ICONIC Boy Meets World episode "And Then There Was Shawn"
I watched that movie last night. It's definitely a good watch around Halloween. Michael Keaton definitely did a good job as the Ghost with the Most. What's also funny is that he ad-libbed most of his lines.
Where do you stand on the movie Practical magic with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman ? I love it and always feel called to watch it during Halloween season. But I must admit that it is one of my comfort/nostalgia movie, so it being a good or a bad film isn't relevant to me 😄
You unlocked so many memories with these movies, specially George with The Little Vampire. If I can suggest a movie, definitely watch the classic that is Young Frankenstein.
Liam is looking extra handsome this episode, if it weren't for his rotted and gutted opinions he could play prince charming in like a gay Disney plus gay version of a princess movie
Casper Meets Wendy!! Oh my god!! I remember being obsessed with it! Still remember Hilary Duff’s little red witch outfit! Can I be your movie buddy for this? 😂 Next Level Memory: Unlocked.
