I thought the film was OK. I was never really a huge Indiana Jones fan as I only watched the films for the first time a few months ago (and found the first few a little boring tbh)

Instead of the Dial of Destiny, I think the final film should have gone something like this: The Israelis find out about the Ark of the Covenant and ask for it to be sent to Jerusalem, and Indy is in charge of the escort. Then some former Nazis, some of whom are from when the Ark was found at Tanis, give everything they've got to keep the Ark from reaching its destination. Ultimately, Indy succeeds, and the last shot of the series should be the Ark being carried into a temple and as the screen fades to black we hear the Indiana Jones theme one last time.
This is beautiful, seen Indiana Jones 5 opening day and wow what a beautiful conclusion to an amazing adventure I would be lying if I didn’t cry at the end. 🥹🫡😭💙
