      Update & story: GOD saved my moms life!!!!!!!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽The doctors didn’t want to put her on the vent...said she wouldn’t make it through vent surgery,,, said she would never get off the vent,,, said she’d never be the same if she gets off the vent,,,the doctors we’re talking hospice but GOD saved her life & said she will live & not die!!!!!! she was sedated & on the vent for 10days, during that time the hospital let us zoom with her & we read bible scriptures, played gospel songs, talked to her & prayed with her even though she was sedated...they began weaning her off the vent then placed her on various types of non-invasive oxygen ie vapotherm & oxymizer. We literally saw the power of GOD from death to life!!! As I said she’s out the hospital with none of the issues they thought she’d have!!!!! It’s been a long journey but my mom is on the road to recovery, thank you JESUS🙏🏽!!!! To GOD be all the glory, all honor & all praise!!!!The LORD is faithful to his promises!! Thanks to everyone who prayed for my mother & family. To those who have been impacted by this coronavirus, just know Im praying for your healing & recovery mind, body & soul!!! Trust GOD because he is real and can do anything but fail🙏🏽 To anyone who lost a loved one, i’m sorry, I didn’t lose my mom but I have lost so many others & pray the LORD will heal your heart, give you peace and comfort!!!! Life is a gift that can be taken at any moment, give your life/heart to the LORD & accept JESUS as your savior if you want to be saved & know you’re going to heaven🥰 My faith & personal relationship with GOD is the only way I get through the trials/heartaches of life, it’s not easy but the battle is the LORDS & I don’t have to fight🥰

      Is this very uncomfortable for people that undergo this. Would you please mind giving more info on this, are people awake or sedated when they are under this.

    • @Homemovies1989
      @Homemovies1989 4 года назад +10

      @@mynhardtsaayman1 They are sedated at first and as we try to wean people off the ventilator the sedation is turned down. We want people to be able to breath on their own before we take tube out. Most people are tied down to prevent them from pulling the tube out. The ventilators these companies are building will probably suck for the patient. Regular vents have modes and sensors to make it more comfortable. These will be simple. Weaning people off of them will be very hard I'd guess.
      Before they go on a vent, a metal blade is stuck into your mouth to lift your toung so we can stick the endotracheal tube past your vocal cords. This can cause trauma...bleeding etc. It sucks for the patient to be intubated. It sucks even worse to be on the Vent. You have to have blood drawn from your artery(not vein) multiple times per day to check your oxygen and co2 levels. Most RTs will tell you they never want to be on a ventilator. Most will tell you its torture. Many old people who go on vents never come off. A jaded view that most of us have is that vents are useful to keep grandma alive until the family gets there.

    • @mynhardtsaayman1

      @@Homemovies1989 thank you and this does sound very traumatic. I'm going to be honest I don't want to go on one, so in your expert opinion is there anything I can do that might prevent me on going on if I was to get this virus?

    • @Homemovies1989
      @Homemovies1989 4 года назад +7

      @@mynhardtsaayman1 it's so contagious I think most people will get it. However it would be better to get it later than sooner. We still dont know a lot about the virus. Give it time. Many people are studying cases and figuring out how to treat the virus. Hospital systems are starting to get overloaded and many healthcare workers are getting sick. You will get much better care if you can get it a year from now. So like they say on the news: Social distancing, mask, hand washing etc.

    Been there, done that, decades ago. SHOULD be better now, but it's worse than your worst nightmares, mainly since you can't communicate & it feels like the settings are too high/your lungs are exploding (you're often too drugged to use pen&pad; even if YOU think it's readable, it's just scribble. Tablets w/ pre-programmed, multiple choice common AUDIBLE responses can & should help greatly.)
    Remember, the way these work are by using air pressure to forceably inflate your lungs like a balloon...sometimes way,way past the level at which YOU feel your lungs will literally tear open.
    Then again, thanks to that, I'm still here, b$tching, laughing, loving, being loved, even skydiving, and .... yelling at the news (on ALL channels.) Thanks, in part to the ventilator. Life is a chain in which the "weakest link" is changing every moment. When you NEED a ventilator, there's no substitute. Remember, even a few minutes without oxygen means partial or critical brain damage ->vegetable w/arms.

    Just say NO to the ventilator if you're dealing with the coronavirus issue. Being on the ventilator is not the way to solve the issue. Ask for oxygen. People are dying because of the ventilator!!! Because it's so traumatic for the body.

    Don't worry. They strap you down to keep you from ripping out tubes. Key is to maintain certain level of anesthesia so you don't freak out. Hopefully they don't run out of those drugs. More than likely you won't know if your family is there or not. If they turn you on your belly, you are toast. Sound good?
